From the moment you are mesmerized by the maitre d’hotel’s hospitality, through your breathtaking views from your spacious room and your brunch, dinner or cocktails at its elegant restaurants & jazz bar, until you lie down to finally rest beneath designer bed sheets on a superbly firm mattress, you will affirm this secret mantra: the Rittenhouse is hands down the best hotel in Philly.

Super pleasant and accommodating staff!! From the valet guys to the front desk to the restaurant servers and bar tenders…so welcoming and attentive!! Room was beautiful and beds were super comfortable! Two loud obnoxious couples on both sides of our room screaming at each other fighting late night and early morning but that’s not the hotels fault. It’s hard to avoid dopes no matter where ya go😬

Arrived early but room was not ready until close to 6pm (3 hours after check in ) . We had dinner reservations at 645 pm and after having been out all day, we wanted to shower and have down time.. but that didn’t happen. The front desk staff and management went above and beyond in making it up to our group - by adding some additional perks and extending check out. Room magnificent and view of park was amazing! Amazing breakfast at LaCroix. The initial check in was very disappointing and off putting but the front desk staff and manager made up for it..

Unfortunately the pricing of this classic establishment does not justify the experience, and we wish we had stayed elsewhere in this prime location. Rittenhouse square has several other hotels nearby for a fraction of this, all of which are in better condition and offer full amenities.

Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. The room was nice but didn’t even have water in the the room for a 5 star hotel??? The biggest problem was the air conditioning in the room. We could NOT sleep!!! It was so loud I had to call the manager and they tried to accommodate us by changing rooms but as we check each one they all seemed to have the same issue the old HVAC units were sooo noisy we had to leave and ended up driving back home at 12 midnight through the pouring rain! Absolutely the worst experience!

This hotel's glory days are over; you can see it from the moment you cross its threshold. Fortunately, Philly has five-star hotels worthy of note. The Rittenhouse Hotel, in my opinion, is no longer one of them - the value for money certainly contributes to this.

Our family had a wonderful time at the hotel. The hotel is in the perfect location. We hope that the city in general will be safer. We saw a lot of homeless sleeping on the street.

We love the Rittenhouse Hotel! The people are very friendly and accommodating and it’s super clean. I only have one negative comment…the bath towels are small and thin. One of ours even had a hole in it. For such a luxurious hotel I find that very strange. But overall we love it!

Me & my 2 sisters had a sisters weekend, there & it was a great time. We went to the Spa got massages & laid by the pool. We had a great time @The Rittenhouse. We definitly will be staying there again.

Very spacious room overlooking Rittenhouse Square. Clean with perks like Illy coffee and Prosecco. Every staff member was very friendly and accommodating. Only negative-spa could use some attention-ladies’ steam not operating and sauna seemed a bit unkempt.
