Great hotel in the centre of the city. Handy for local food and night life as well as shopping. Five minute walk from train station and one minute walk from bus station. Stayed there over 20 times and keep using it as there is no better city centre hotel.

Location fab for gig at The Roadmender, staff very friendly, but only bed only had 2 flat pillows with no spares to add to the bed. On arrival the room smelled of poo, can only assume someone had used the toilet just before we checked in, we were allowed to check in 30 mins early, also no sign to hang on the door to say whether the room is occupied or not, meaning the cleaners start banging on door from 0900 to see if they can access to clean, not ideal on a hungover Sunday morning. That said location and staff were good, for £75 it’s not going to be top end.

Nice welcome on arrival, room really clean and helpful bar staff. Good range of choice for breakfast, coffee not great but ok. View from bedroom awful but that can't be helped.

As the hotel is undergoing a change of owner there is a lot of develpment happening which we were unaware of. Negatives were the fact only one lift worked all weekend and the hotel was packed. The bar and facilities were very basic seating and seemed almost thrown together for now. The room we booked was uperior and it was very clean and comfy, but you would expect some furniture in there for the price we paid for the night. Only a single chair (advised new furniture was on order!). On the positives, it is well located, the staff were very friendly and i am sure after the change is completed will be a nice place to stay. It was just very overpriced for what we recieved this visit.

Love this hotel, definitely the best in the centre of Weymouth. Been coming for years. Was apprehensive as recently taken over by Accor , but everything was still the same, with nice friendly staff who have been there for a long time, which was good. Slightly disappointed with breakfast, fried eggs were too dry, and overall just not as nice, but glad to see they still had berries, granola and lovely thick yoghurt. The hotel is smart ame comfy and still in really good condition, so not sure if the upcoming refurbishment is really needed, but I guess they want to put their own stamp and brand in place. Just please don’t change the breakfast too much!

Great stay in Northampton. You can see that the hotel is being renovated and we're sure it be even nicer when all the work is done. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was freezing cold when we got in the room and took a while to heat up after we put the heating on. The water wasn't very hot the following morning for showering - two luke warm showers. There was NO shampoo at all in the bottle. Just a well I took a travel one. Would have been nice to have 2 pillows per person and a throw/blanket on the bed as it was so cold to begin with. Breakfast was good and worth the money.

Booked a superior room and can definitely say it was worth it. Loved the decor from the pops of colour in the bathroom to the furniture style all really suited each other. The bed was extremely comfortable and the LED headboard lights created a relaxing atmosphere at the end of the night. Only issue was curtain rail lights were flickering so had to rely on lamps in the room instead of using the main lights. The only improvement I can think of would be with it being a superior room maybe some upgraded coffee making facilities could be included for example a pod machine even just a simple one just to add that more luxury feel that you get from the rest of the room

The hotel location is good and the staff delivered excellent customer service Christina at the front desk and Kevin DeFreitas in the bar and restaurant. Also the young lady server in the restaurant The one thing is that our room was too small for a king size bed. No space to move around. At least a small fridge would be nice to have. There should be an ice maker on some of the floors. Love that we could make coffee or tea Excellent renovated bathroom

The stay was amazing. The only fault was tgere was no fan for the bedroom and the air conditioning turned off withing 45 minutes so the room was extreamly hot.

Truly dreadful, an awards ceremony finished at 2 and the after party kicked off in the room above from 2:30-5:00, my alarm at 6:30 to speak at a conference for the entire day was unwelcome. The hotel took no responsibility or offered any recompense.

We went to an event at the Derngate Theatre and the hotel was less than a 10 minute walk away. Quick check-in, the room was good and it was very quiet. Left the car in the car park right in front of the hotel for £7.

Easy check in. Room was clean and tidy although we were only given 1 bath towel for 2 persons. The breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. The negative was the car park which we had to pay £7 for, it had takeaway containers every where.

Reception and the bar area looked good at arrival and the staff were very polite. Check in was easy and then the room was nice. The bed was very comfortable and good facilities in the room. The bathroom needs a little bit of a refurb/ update but overall it was good. The area around the hotel is mostly the main road but there is a park that is apparently popular to dodgy characters at night. If you avoid all that it is a short walk into the town!

Check in was a relatively simple affair, although there was confusion over the car parking charges. I had received an email stating that it was £5 for 24hrs but the Hotel stated it was actually £7 for 24hrs. Inevitably, I was only charged £5. Where do the Hotel operators expect their customers to park, other than in the designated car park. Just another hidden charge. Dinner was only available in the bar area and the menu is very extensive, very predictable fayre. Breakfast is very good with a large selection of buffet hot and cold foods.

First, upon check in they stated that they do not honor the Expedia VIP items. Second they refused to give us the room that we reserved months in advance. So, I asked for a refund and we would go elsewhere. I was refused a refund after much arguing and speaking with a manager over the phone. She was absolutely not concerned with good customer relations. In fact, she was quite rude. We left and got a hotel elsewhere. I had to report and dispute the transaction with my credit card. In time, they secured the refund from the hotel. Bypass this hotel and find another one. They do not care about their customers.

Stayed here on the Wednesday night in August, seems popular for businesses for the meeting rooms etc. I was here when the rugby team barbarians were staying here, so I was keen to get to breakfast early before it all went! A nice touch is that they have a takeaway coffee machine, so you can grab a brew when you find even hit the road
