Very comfy bed, the suite was very large, large windows with great views. We enjoyed the live music and the food was tasty. The lobby desk representative was very very friendly. Thanks for a great day.

Nice clean rooms. Pretty outdated and rooms were well worn but very clean and comfortable. Quite too even though it was quite full of guests. The $14 for parking is very excessive.

Hidden Fees galore. Cheap rate but when you get there watch out. Extra person fee- parking fee was ridiculous expensive. Don’t forget the $100 deposit which is way out of line. Elevators are broke all the time. Kinda tacky service. All over experience feels slimy. If you are gona charge a fee for a room be upfront about it. We have stayed here before but we are done. I feel like I was swindled out of $$ for all the hidden fees!

If you need a place to stay and aren't very picky, this a good choice. If you're looking for the Hilton, its down the street.
I stayed 3 nights. I payed a decent rate and for what I got was happy. You can pay the same money at a newer hotel close by, but this place has more to offer, even if its a little on the older side.
Pros
Room was clean and bed was cozy.
Close to the interstate and airport
Pretty ok hotel bar with live music and karaoke.
Cons
Paying for parking which isnt mentioned till you get there 14 bucks a night. Parking lot is tight.
Bar has karaoke thur-sat untill midnight and its loud. I had a room on the 3rd floor and could hear it.
1 elevator is still broken the other one went down for a while when I was there but the got it fixed in a few hours.
Smelled like an old musty building. Because it is, you can see it hasnt had an update in a long time.
Needs some better outlets in the room. Only 1 that was available to charge phone/laptop wasn't even by the desk.
That shower head was weak, but the hot water never ran out on me.
I would stay here again because I had a good time. I met some cool folks at the bar who tell me its there goto when they are in town, and I can see why But its not gonna be for everyone.

The pool / Jacuzzi area closes at 10. We arrived at 930. They were waiting at the door wanting to lock it. Jacuzzi had a handicap chair lift but we didn't use it.it was difficult to get in and out. The Jacuzzi did not have jets. The free drink was good until 11. However the bar tender was not beer accurate in her info. The beds were firm. I don't mind but hubby didn't sleep. Breakfast was mediocre.

I reserved a room here on the 21st thru the 23rd so in total 2 nights. Looks nice on the outside, also looks nice on the inside. Not high-end but not low-end either. It was a decent stay. I was not intrigued by the somewhat hidden parking fee for two nights, so $28 in total just for parking, which isn't included in the room price. Breakfast is also not included in the room price. The room was a solid 7/10. Service was good, they came in the room and refreshed when I was gone, made it look nice again. Overall, I went on a trip from UT to CO to go to a concert hoping to save money on overnight stays but this place wasn't the best option for *money-saving* even though it said online that it was only $55 a night, which looks like a steal but I didn't look incredibly into it, which led me to believe it included breakfast and whatnot. Anyways, decent stay. I'd recommend to anyone who likes pools & bars though since it has that. Overall 7/10

Always live staying at Grand Vista Hotel. We come for the hiking at CO National Monument. Rooms are large and comfortable and staff helpful and friendly. My only issue is that they charge 14.00 for parking when they have a large parking lot. Most likely because of the airport. We don’t use it as an airport hotel. They just started this since Covid . It was not listed in my reservation so I brought it to their attention and they did not charge me the 28.00. All the other places in the area do not charge for parking unless you are leaving it while flying someplace. They should either charge a little more for the rooms which were very reasonable or eliminate the parking charges. In all my travels I have never been charged for parking at a hotel that is not in a major metropolitan area. This is not in downtown Grand Junction. It is out at the outskirts of the city. I was not the only customer who was dissatisfied with the parking charge. other than that, it’s a great place to stay.

It was fine the goofy thing was they charge 14 dollars to park on there property pretty stupid if you ask me

Didn’t know about an additional parking fee of $14.00 per night. Thought my total was a total but on arrival had extra charges.

Stay was OK, The problem was the noise from other rooms around us. It seems like the walls are very thin. Things were clean, check in was good.

We were charged $14 per day for parking. This has always been waived and they made no mention of this fee when we booked. Additionally our bed sheets were stained and very unappealing. We won’t go back

Nice hotel, we had beautiful views of the Colorado Monument (a giant canyon) and the restaurant had good food and inexpensive drinks. The only problem is that only one elevator was working during our visit.

Decent hotel! Beware of the 14$ parking fee. No breakfast. It was clean and a nice place to stay for the price. Staff are young and not very friendly

I love Grand Vista in Grand Junction, Colorado. They always treat me like family and I’ve never had a complaint about my room.
I was unhappy with the food at the restaurant, but I don’t know if it’s considered part of my stay.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to grand junction. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I love that they have dinning, entrainment and swimming pool. The rooms are super clean and beds are super comfortable. I will stay at this hotel every time I come that’s how much I enjoyed my stay.

By the time we fully checked in, the fees made the stay $250.00 dollars. We understand that there is a pet fee, then a parking fee, the a $100.00 hold fee. The room smells like cat litter. Overall I would not stay here again due to all the hidden fees and service. Also it had live music and bar open to the public

We always stay here when passing through Grand Junction. Unfortunately we are usually too road-weary to take advantage of the amenities.
The rates are reasonable and our stay is always very pleasant. Morning coffee in the lobby would be an appreciated addition.

The staff was great. The room was a great value for the money.

I've actually stayed there multiple times like the indoor pool and staff is nice less expensive then most the other places with an indoor pool. Not a fan of having to pay to park there when I already payed for a room though.

Checked in with my name and provided the company business card as I’m on business and everything is covered with the business card. They wouldn’t allow me to check in with the business card… Fine I used my person card and checked in.. I go to the room and it smelled as if they’re were pets in the room. I continued to walk in and sit on the chair and the odor was stronger I also notice that I was covered in Dog hair! I get up and check the bed when I lift the comforter the entire bed was covered in dog hair! So I proceed to go down to the reception desk and tell them the room was not cleaned and I needed another room.. huge inconvenience as I was just ready to shower and relax .

When I booked through Hotels.com, there was no mention of being charged +$14 to park in their mostly-empty lot overnight (on the outskirts of town), which is a scammy thing to do. This changes the pricing of the nightly rate, and is very manipulative.
There were many other bad impressions too. My keycard didn't work on first use (on a top floor), so had to go back to the front desk. Then after the keycard was re-programmed, the door wouldn't open (even w/ a green light) because it was rusted shut, and had to be kicked 6-8 times to loosen it. No wifi information was given at check-in, and after having to inquire later on how to connect, their network didn't work. The walls are paper-thin, and I could hear other guests at 7am as though they were standing in the room. Even the ballpoint pen in the room was out of ink. Just a seriously mis-managed place.
This was a fine hotel 40 years ago and makes a passable stop-over now, they are just running it into the ground, and try to nickle-and-dime guests in the process. There was even a $100 upfront deposit, which I was later concerned about getting back in full, given their apparent culture of trying to make a buck in any way they can. For an out-of-state guest like myself, I'd have little recourse if they claimed a towel was missing and then tried to steal another $20 out of the deposit refund.
Deal with your guests honestly & tune up your quality control, and this would still be a fine stop-over.

I always love staying at the Grand Vista. I love that they have a restaurant that serves till 9:45, rooms are good and the location, despite being in a busy part of town, is fairly quiet.

Loved the mirrors in the elevator. Also didnt get off on my floor because i was so enamored with my handsomeness.

Property is old but maintained. Towels are very small and thin, like tissue. A lot of noise from the bar, parking lot, diesel trucks, and motorcycles on nearby roads. Check-in agent was not friendly. Hotel was alerted to my traveling with service animal but repeatedly said no pets in property. I saw at least 6 other dogs and heard 2-3 on our floor. I don’t know why he was giving me a hard time about my service animal.
