The hotel and the hotel room were very clean. The breakfast was good and tasty. The staff at the front desk was friendly. Unfortunately, the bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on. I woke up in the middle of the night with low back pain.

Our room was a bit small, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was excellent and spotless!

Friendly staff, very clean hotel! The pool is nice and warm and the hot tub was perfect!
The staff made my daughter (3 yrs old) feel so welcome and talked to her each time we entered the lobby. She loves that!
Will definitely stay again next time in town!

Everything was clean. Hallways smelled nice. The hotel was not old and dingy. The breakfast was perfect! Used the hot tub, pool and the workout room. All open 24 hours which is amazing. Bed was comfortable. 12 out of 10!

Supposed to have a fridge but didn’t. The gentleman who checked us in was professional and friendly. Rooms are small. Appears to be clean.

The hotel is adequate. It is clean, but bordering on tired. The room became cold quickly if the fan wasn’t running, and when the fan was running, it was noisy. We could also hear noise from rooms above and adjacent. Lastly, the parking lot is small and spaces are limited.

The motel it's self was nice. The elevator wasn't nice not sure it was safe definitely slow. The cable and how it cuts out is very annoying

close to mayo clinic only problem i encountered was he shuttle which took 45 minutes to go maybe 2 miles almost missed my appointment but i do understand why they did this next time it will be Hampton north

The property was clean, quiet, close to amenities, close to Mayo Clinic, excellent breakfast and served soup and corn bread in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again. Only downside is the hot tub was closed until February for remodeling.

The window shade was broken and didn’t pull down. So we could be seen from the parking lot. The heater made a noise that sounded like dripping water. We got up to find the “leak” but finally guessed the sound was coming from the heater.

The only negative thing I have to say is that there isn't always someone at the front desk to help you. When we first arrived I tried calling the hotel twice (and got no answer), then finally someone showed up to check us in our room. Otherwise, I would have rated staff 5 stars.
I would definitely stay here if we are in the area again!!!! Very clean, awesome breakfast choices (included). They even offered broccoli cheddar soup (included) on Monday evening. I've never stayed at any hotel that offered an evening meal for free. So thankful we choose Hampton Inn for our stay in Rochester!!!

Staff were friendly. The rooms are so small that there's too narrow of space between end of beds. The entry into the room was difficult to maneuver the luggage cart. There's also a sliding door that must be shut or the entry door runs into it. If you're coming in with a handful, it's difficult. Self closure on the door was set very tight. Spa was down for maintenance the entire 2 night stay. No conditioner in the wall mounted bottles. Then during our 2nd night we turned the heater down to 69 degrees. Instead of cooling down, the heater started, never shut off and was up to 77 degrees and we could take it anymore. Called the front desk and was offered a different room because it couldn't be repaired. It was midnight. I was a Mayo Rochester patient and was due at the hospital at 6:30 am for surgery. and didn't get settled in the next room until 12:30 am. I was too exhausted to discuss these thing at the front desk. I really don't think we should have to pay for such an awful stay. Shuttle service offered for Mayo appointment could not accommodate that early appointment. When I booked I looked specifically for a spa and shuttle service. We will not stay there again. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this request for a refund.

Check in was very comical and fun! Front desk gentleman had a great sense of humor and got us checked in while he was at it. Offered us bottled water to take to our room and apparently they have soup on certain days and said we were welcome to help ourselves if we would like! Best experience we've had in a long time!

Our stay was great. Location was easy to find and we loved the food truck in the parking lot. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic!

I learned there was an additional charge for bringing our dog. That was not pointed out when I booked the room. The desk guy said it was because we booked thru Expedia that it was not shown. I went to Hamptons site directly and it’s not mentioned there either. That’s disappointing.
