Not handicap accessible at all. No buttons for any doors, huge curbs everywhere and rooms are too cramped for a walker to navigate. I contacted them after booking telling them I was handicapped and asking for a room on the first floor and close to the desk. The first trip wasn't too bad. The room was reasonably close to the desk and ok to navigate in the room and through the patio door with the walker. The return trip was another matter - it was on the first floor, but very far from the desk - I had to take a break in the hallway. Also had to choose the desk chair or using the walker in the room - no room for both. Also had to force the walker through the patio door - it was just a smidge too narrow. I think a wheelchair would be totally SOL. Hotel itself was slightly upgraded and pretty clean. Breakfast was ok - the same powdered eggs and sausage turds as pretty much every other hotel - with undercooked potatoes. Bed are very hard with no cushioning - good if you like that, but not for me - woke up in extreme pain both mornings. Think I might be paying the extra $40 next time for the better hotel up the hill.

This Comfort Inn was impeccable in all regards. The staff was exemplary and the facilities were absolutely top shelf. We very much enjoyd our stay and if this is the standard set for all Comfort Inns, we would recommend without any reservations for anyone's motel needs.

The staff were not overly friendly, and the room was excessively hot, even after I turned the heat off and put the system to cooling, causing a poor night's sleep.

I reserved for a Queen size bed and what i got was a double bed when i talked to the staff about it they told me it was a queen size bed. I told them i have one and it is biger than what they had. In the shower the knob to activate the shower was broken. There was a groupe of teenage kids there and they were playing in the stairs and yelling i had to tell them to move. The staff was standing there not saying or doing anything. Even after me telling her. We went for breakfast and when i went back to my room it was already being cleaned for the next person coming. The beds were taken apart. I still had my room key with me. It was only 9 oclock and i had the room till 11.

I left a jacket in the hotel and was told it wasn’t found the next day. It was an expensive and I know I left it hanging on a chair. The stay was fine but knowing someone else has my jacket is upsetting.

Great place to stay while traveling to nova scotia. Its right on the trans canada, easy access, small town with banking, shoppers, mcdonalds, bulkbarn, gas stations. Clean, friendly staff, comfy beds.

Floors were dirty, carpet truely needed to be shampooing, there was a nasty odor to the room, we prayed perfume on eveything to help with tye odor. We had spent 12hrs pn the road, wanted to have dinner and sleep. Not teying to search put another place to stay. Would never go back to this hotel again.

The hotel is pet friendly and our room, corridors and hotel in general were very clean. Unfortunately there is no elevator to the 2nd floor, and the ceramic stairs were badly chipped and broken…a potential tripping hazard! The free breakfast was a bonus; it was very popular with loads of choices. The hotel was located directly off the main highway and minutes to gas stations, fast food and grocery stores. We would stay there again.

I had no issues with the condition of the room and facilities, but the desk staff would not give me a paper copy of my receipt because I would not give back the key card for the room. I will not stay here again.

We wouldn’t stay again. The room smelled so badly of smoke. The sink was clogged and we felt unsafe outside getting into the car as there was a group of men sat at one of the picnic tables smoking up, which you could also smell from far away.
