Nice quiet stay, good location, friendly staff

We liked the large living area with a lot of space to relax, read and play games. It looks like it had been a Holidome with the pool filled in. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The fitness center was good with quite a lot of weight machines in addition to a treadmill and elliptical. This is in a shopping district next to Menards and Applebees, and across from Target, with many fast food places nearby. Some people are staying at the hotel by the week.

Room was definitely not the cleanist I have encountered. Bedding had stains on it as well as the walls. Requested a room upgrade and late checkout and the staff never replied to the request that was made multiple days before check in date. Seen the hotel had good ratings but failed to see how they achieved those ratings

i had no issues.

What I liked: location was convenient for my purposes, staff were very friendly and immediately moved me to another room when there was a problem with the first room (shades were broken and dead bolt didn't work). The bed was comfortable, room was quiet, room was mostly clean. What I didn't like: The grout in the bathroom floor was black, didn't look clean at all; there was no window to the outside, and the room was stuffy with no fresh air; the cell phone reception in the room was terrible and the phone in the room didn't work so couldn't call the front desk from the room and had to go to the lobby to make phone calls; the safe didn't work; there was no maintenance person available on the weekend to address those problems.

It was ok

There were a few things that could be priorities when it comes to the condition of the place. Other than that, it's 1 of my top 5.

I truly enjoyed the 5 star experience.

Pretty decent hotel. A lot of dining options, gas, and stuff nearby. Room was clean and about what you expect from a 2-3 star hotel. Only thing that I did not like was our room was in the first floor right by the lobby and front desk. Guest and staff were easily heard and very noisy throughout the night.

Unfortunately, we had a VERY ROWDY family next door to our room. They let their kids be crazy loud and your staff could not control them. we finally pounded on their door at 3:00 A.M for them to knock it off and things did quiet down @ that point. By 7:45 the next morning they were @ full throttle again..
We have 4 kids ( not with) so we understand normal conversion. Not yelling and screaming half the night.
We desire some kind of consideration for the inconvenience?? Dave & Sharry Watkins 507-458-5018

Totally reasonable and friendly especially when it comes to having to extended your nights day by day.

I will never stay at this hotel again. I have never felt so unsafe. Checked out within 15 minutes of getting there with no refund. They said they cannot control the parking lot or the conditions.

We had issues with the toilet not working so were moved to a different room. The keys didn't work in the building or room doors. Had to get other keys late. Didn't get a map of the hotel, so we didn't find the "courtyard" until after looking around for it for breakfast. The toilet quit working in the 2nd room as well. The staff was accommodating.

First time staying here and I will return. Very diverse neighborhood and incredible ethnic foods to choose from. The hotel is clean, safe and welcoming. Outstanding value for the dollar. Thank you.

The staff was really great. So was the food. Nice place to stay with a family. The proximity to downtown was nice although we weren’t commuting during rush hour.

This hotel far surpasses any other in the area for the price. The staff is amazing! Jerome at the front desk is so helpful, respectful, and makes you feel safe. The manager, Melody shines in her position. She runs that place with grace. The cleaning staff cares about quality in their job and it shows. And the breakfast is fantastic with the sweetest woman who runs it as well. I will always come back to the LivINN if I’m in the area again.

was a nice stay. Someone next to me was smoking so the hall did not smell great and their tv was very loud til around midnight. Though overall the staff was great

So one had used the toilet in the bathroom and didn’t flush. It needed some TLC. Bed was comfortable. The room next door the people were loud fighting g and bouncing a ball off the wall. That wasn’t the motels fault. The room smelled like cigarettes. Still waiting for my $50. Pet deposit back.

Staff were very helpful as our granddaughters card was next to her phone and wiped it out.

This is an old hotel and it shows. It isnt worth the price I paid, particularly the duplicate pet fees. We heard people walking past our room through the night and the door to the parking lot makes a loud screeching noise when used. Bad value for the price.

We had a great time! Hotel was clean and looked nice! Linens were clean and comfortable! Overall a good stay, would stay again!

Floors were very dirty
Shower had soap residue and lime build up
Also the shelf in the shower had what was left of a bar of soap fused to it

I really liked the center courtyard, we relaxed there for awhile before going to bed, and it was very comfortable and quiet. I would definitely love to stay there again if my needs bring me to Fridley again.

The hotel itself was ok, however it seemed a bit musty and unkept. Our room was dirty, sticky carpet, dirty mirror and a tooth flosser on the ground... It also was a bit overpriced for the lack of cleaning that was done.
