I was not able to go on this trip due to American Airlines canceling our flights. I called the office yesterday and the person at the front desk was the most rude and argumentative person I have ever dealt with in my many years of travel. Will never stay book another Baymont again.

The water in the inside swimming pool was too cold to swim in. The outside of the hotel area needs gardening skills worked on. The floors in the room were very dirty.

The moment I walked into the lobby, my gut feeling told me I should run away. I didn't even stay there that first night, and still was charged the full 3 night's stay, even though I told the manager I wasn't going to stay. The lobby was dark and dingy and shoddy and the entire hotel smelled of cooking - even the room I was shown on the second floor smelled heavily of cooking. Hoping my gut feeling was wrong, I stupidly went ahead against my better judgement and signed for the room, was given a key that wasn't even a standard card key, then had to walk up the stairs because this place has NO elevator, which suprised me for a chain franchise like Baymont by Wyndham, which I expected to at least be consistent in its furnishings and amenities. I walked into my room and the trash had not even been emptied. That included an overflowing trash can plus two other full trash bags. And the sheets showed obvious staining. Yuck! The hallway carpet was old and worn and didn't look clean. And, as a solo woman traveler, I definitely did NOT feel safe. I do NOT recommend this hotel. It's dirty and smelly and poorly managed. My needs are simple when it comes to lodging, but I expect chain hotels to be consistent in cleanliness, front desk professionalism, courtesy, and amenities.

The cost was very reasonable. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows on 2 beds. Would have been great if we had a few things in our room- cups for the coffee maker or sink, unused hair products, tissues in the tissue holder, and a plug for the lamp cord. Our “continental” breakfast had nothing someone that is diabetic could eat. My husband loves carbs, so he had a waffle and fruit loops. The choices would be acceptable on a very, very small continent. Probably with stay elsewhere on our way home. For a one night sleepover, it was okay.

No elevator. Needs deep cleaning - carpet stains, dusty. Breakfast only carbs - all the butter packets were open. Bed was comfortable. Needs a new shower head - water all over.

It was ok. They could have done better with the breakfast and they could have said something about the hot tub not working properly. Someone else was talking about their room being dirty.

Why did I not read the reviews? This place is awful. The staff acted so inconvenienced by my small children. I'm pretty sure the family that runs it lives in the hotel. They complained that in the ten minutes we were in our upstairs room getting settled in, we were too loud. Maybe don't live in a hotel if you're worried about noise.
The pool was probably about 40 degrees. I asked for some pool towels and they gave me two. I asked for 5 because that's how many of us were in the pool and the guy said, "that won't be possible." It's towels, dude! Why so stingy? I regretted checking in almost immediately. The city should really come in and check this place out.

First there is no one at the front desk so we had to wait a while to check in. Second we had to ask for towels and a bath mat as there were only 2 towels in the room. The carpets are so stained and dirty. Our sink in the bathroom was quite stained and there was no hot water in our room. Our lock on the door was missing half of it so we couldn’t lock up properly. The indoor pool had no towels and the pool was so cold our children couldn’t even get in it. Lastly the breakfast was dismal as well biscuits and bagels were hard as rocks the gravy was just like using milk. I just expected a Baymont hotel to be better.

I originally planned to stay for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. The place and room did NOT feel clean. The main carpet in the lobby and stairs hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long and the over all feel of my room and the place felt yucky. When I arrived to check in at 3pm (check in time) I had to use the phone to call for assistance and he said he was eating lunch and pretty much just told me to wait until he was done. Of course I called again and finally got another person to help check in. I lost a nights stay fee but wasn't going to stay there any longer.

Our room was not stocked with towels or cups, the shampoos and body wash were half used in the rooms. The tub has visible grime on the textured bottom, we were travelling with our baby and I had to go around and pick up several crumbs clumps of dirt and even a rubber band off of the floor. The pool was not heated and cloudy, no towels to be found there as well. I’ve never reviewed a hotel but this needs to be addressed

For the price, I didn't think it was initially too bad. The bed spreads were stained. The bathroom door veneer was being held together with tape at the bottom. The couch was broken but usable. The room hadn't been vacuumed. The front desk was not good. I couldn't call the front desk from our phone in the room. As I was leaving, I commented that the room hadn't been vacuumed, and the manager proceeded to argue with me. An early check-in will cost you $35.

The rooms were not swept, the towels were ragged and musty, the bottom sheet was put on upside down, and the room needed rekeyed almost every time we left. There was a huge pile of trash outside the end door. I think there were 3 rooms occupied when we stayed. The employees child ran the upper hall and you could hear every pounding footstep below.

The hallways had a very bad odor, the staff were poorly trained, very unclearly. Found a Kleenex in bed sheets.
Morning breakfast - bagels were hard like days old. No orange juice or apple juice. Opened compartment and could tell hadn't had any in a long time. Enough waffle batter for one but attendant did make more but was too late. Staff seemed very unaware and made constant excuses. Coffee was good.
The cabinets in breakfast area were very stained and dirty. No tables being wiped down.

Tried to check in at 2:15 p.m. and was told it would cost $75 to get in 45 minutes early. Ended up checking in at 3:00 and the refrigerator was broken so we asked to get a different one which they said was no problem. At 4:30 they still had not gotten a refrigerator for us and the bathroom fan was so loud you cannot even stand to be in the bathroom with the light on which was the same switch as the fan. The pool was also broken. We left and went to a different hotel.

Pool and hot tub not working. Dirty place that needs a good cleaning, bought our own cleaning supplies to use the rooms. Managers run the front desk and not available most times. Sink wouldn't drain, outlets didn't work and stains on our sheets was happy we brought towels to lay on. Was upset no one told us about the pool and hot tub out of order until we changed and planned our night went down to area and freezing and out of order. Thank goodness wifi worked and they had HBO, good water pressure in shower.
Management tried their best but run down and not up to standards. Breakfast was a joke, plan on going out. Only fruit loops (milk was expired) and oatmeal, did have waffle maker. No juice or other food offered. Mornin Sunshine (about 2 mikes downtown) had a great breakfast for price.

We got to our room and left immediately. The room was filthy and not clean and smelled terrible. The beds was hanging off of the frame and the other beds sheets were not clean and made nicely on the bed. The bathroom was forgot and the couch was dirty and gross. We left and went and bought ANOTHER room at a different hotel. I am out the money, but there was no way we would have been able to stay in that room.

The first room they sent us too hadn’t been cleaned from the previous people who stayed there, dirty clothes and no linens on bed. We contacted the front desk and they gave us a new room. A guy who we believe was the housekeeper was in the hallway without shoes on. He was drinking sand obviously drunk. The new room at least had linens. There garbage cans had been emptied, but there was an empty alcohol container in each garbage can. The toilet had also not been flushed. The room itself was set to 84 F. We opened the window to cool it down, the windowsill was full of dead bugs. We were tired so we just went to bed. In the morning, we discovered there was only one towel for showers. We had coffee for the coffee maker but no cups. Then we found a little worm on one of the beds… at that point we just packed up and left. Do not recommend

Less then 1/4 roll toilet paper in room. Woke us up at 0830 to clean room. We were still in bed.

The room was okay. The coffee maker worked. The cable TV was nice. The shower had no water pressure and was hard to get going. There was a large set in blood stain on one of the towels. The refrigerator was moldy. The air conditioner was loud and made weird noises. We also booked a King size room and they said it wasn't ready yet and gave us a double Queen.

Staircase was not overly clean biscuits and gravy were cold had to heat it up in the microwave. Door handle was falling off the microwave. Apple juice was watered down. Area around the hotel is a dump

No Kleenex or toiletries in room ,microwave didn’t work, food from previous guest in fridge, hide a bed was broken. Waffle maker didn’t work properly. Gravy was watered down No sausage in it. Orange juice was not good. Bowl for oatmeal melted when cooking it for less than recommended time. Bagels were like hockey pucks. Hot tub ice cold with crickets in it. Pool was very warm so that was a plus. Pool towels looked like rags. No elevator. Hand rail broken . Price was great but not happy with the hotel. Will not stay again.

The fridge in the room was not working properly and had to be unplugged due to noises it was making. It also had a funny smell. The pool was too hot to swim in for any amount of time and the hot tub was freezing.

The room was horrible. It had a vinyl tile floor throughout the room instead of carpeting because there was a hot tub in the room. The bathroom was dirty, the towel rack was rusty, the plug on the hair dryer was damaged and there was mold along the top edge of the shower surround. The couch in the room was extremely worn out and was so uncomfortable that we couldn’t sit on it.

I was not able to check into my room I called told them I wouldn’t be there till 2 AM. He said that would be fine there’s someone there all the time I get there pick up the phone no response I called the phone number directly to the hotel. A lady answered said she’d be right there. I waited from 2:20 AM till 2:45 AM and no one came to check me in I had to sleep in my car and now I have to pay for a room that I was never able to check into you. Never again will I book a room at this hotel?

Carpet gross. Towels frayed.
Fixtures corroded. Shower had something stuck to the wall. Requested receipt for return of key. Was refused. No elevator. So if handicapped beware. First floor used for animal friendly. Hopefully not allergic. Breakfast carbs no protein except yogurt. Rent anywhere else but this place!!!

The person in the room next door went to our room and his door key opened our door and he came into the room. The night before I was at the wrong room next door and my key opened his room. The door latch on the inside was engaged so I couldn't enter, but he came to the door when he heard me trying to get in. I mentioned this to the clerk at the front desk when checking out and he was rude and told me it was not possible. There was myself and my cousin present on each occasion this happened. The clerk's behavior was rude and insulting. The fact that our room keys opened both doors is not acceptable.

The room was not put back together after what I’m assuming was from moving the furniture to vacuum under it. The coffee maker had old coffee grounds in it, the fridge was not wiped out, and the bathroom smelt like urine. I was disappointed there wasn’t eggs and a breakfast meat available for breakfast. Only hot food was the nasty cheap hotel biscuits and gravy, not sausage gravy, and waffles. No fresh fruit, one selection of bread and bagels. Very sad overall breakfast. Pool area was freezing so the hot tub turned it into a fog room to which the front desk guy just opened the windows to solve.
