Awful. Our room smelled like dog urine so bad it was nauseating! The bathroom door and door frame at been scratched and chewed by a dog obviously left in the room. We didn’t have pets and didn’t request a pet room. I have an immune compromised child that had to stay in a dog pee saturated room. We left as quickly as we could in the morning and have requested a full refund.

Pool was broken had to walk next door to a different hotel to use pool. Had mold in dresser drawer and mildew in shower ceiling. Asked for clean towels to pls be brought up and they were left on the floor by our room door.

Shower had no water pressure and fluxuated between boiling hot and ice cold on its own. There was no garbage can in the room at all.

Cannot say thank you enough to Jayson! He was so helpful and kind from the moment I arrived. I stayed 3 nights and it was so comfortable and quiet. There’s food literally next door and across the street, and the hotel breakfast was pretty awesome. I want to come back again for sure and hopefully it’ll be warm enough for the pool. Thanks everyone!!

Plus: big room, nice people, easy parking, breakfast was good. Bed was good and no issues sleeping
Bad: old Hotel dusty vents, small tv, but thing that was bad for me was the bathroom was not clean- used q tips on floor, stained towel and hair on wall in bathroom, plus water stains in tub that could be easily taken care of by cleaning.
If the bathroom was clean I would have come back but I won’t now.

It was absolutely horrible had bedbugs in both rooms. Hotel could not guarantee they could get them out. Set it to another two rooms. They had bedbugs as well. We had to check out.
We need our money back refunded

Toilet leaked. Picture glass broken. Shades coming off hooks.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable with the property itself is really rundown. The gardens were beautiful and I stayed there because they have a nice pool but the pool was closed when I went there. Luckily the manager arranged for me to use the pool at the Holiday Inn next door, but that was indoors and overly chlorinated so… For the money it wasn’t a bad stay, but with just a little bit of paint and some TLC it could be top-notch place.

This hotel is under renovation which it desperately needs. Stayed here a couple years ago and it was somewhat decent. Not anymore. Check in was smooth and the young lady was helpful. Got in my room, it was clean and large but outdated - which is fine, I'm not high maintenance. Bed was comfy. Got up the next morning to get ready, no shampoo or conditioner in the bottles on the wall. A dirty washcloth in the bathtub. Went to use the hairdryer, it didnt work. The lamps in the room didnt work. The outlets didnt work and when I plugged my curling iron in, it didnt turn on and there was a flash of electricity. I then went down to the front desk to ask if i could move rooms. They assigned me to anothwr room on the second floor, moved all of my stuff including my dog crate and equipment. Went to turn on the light in the bathroom, it didnt work at all and none of the outlets worked. So another trip down to the front desk to move yet again to another room, this time to the third floor all the way at the back of the hotel facing I5. The man in the next room over smoked pot 24-7 and was living in there. Every time i walked out of my room there were sheets and towels and trash all over the floor outside my room. The smoke from.the pot filled my room and made my dog cough all weekend. The noise from I5 made it impossible to sleep. My keys never worked and the manager wasn't available to talk to whenever I was trying to make a complaint. Awful 4 night stay.

Rooms and premise were terrible. Floors were filthy, stained, not vacuumed, just dirty. I refused to take off my socks. I will say beds and bedding were clean but it was the only thing. Bathroom was dirty including bathtub, floors and sink area. There was trash throughout the hallways both construction and food wrappers/bottles. "24 hour locked doors" were never locked. Poor front staff lady was nice and friendly but looked so overwhelmed. Hotels.com has a very different review than google so be sure to check both. We had booked for two nights and decided to not stay for the next evening.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Hotel underfoing a much-needed remodel, so you will smell strong chemicals in libby (carpet glue?), rolls of ripped up carpet in some hallways, dings and dents at elevator, along door rims, etc. From years of abuse.
The room itself was quiet and clean, the bed comfortable, the towels relatively fluffy.
Good value for your money if you dint mind all the remodel activity

The hotel was under renovation and was FILTHY! My room was clean but had ants. I first checked in and the room I was given had no power in the bathroom and the door to the balcony would not close. I grabbed all my things and went down and had them move me to another room. The second room was fine. The lobby was a disaster and smelled from the glue they were using for the tile. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, not a place I would stay again.

Someone was smoking on our floor and I complained to the front desk multiple times and they didn’t don’t anything. The room was so gross. The hallways was lined with trash. At least the sheets were clean. Our keys somehow got deactivated twice. Seriously do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

My stay was Ok. I didn't know the hotel was going through construction or I would have chose a different place. I didn't like that there was no front desk person to be found after I got checked in. I couldn't get into my room. I understand staffing everywhere is short but at the same time. My safety is important. I didn't feel 100% safe. I had someone knock on my door then look through my peep hole from the other side. Idk who it was. It definitely wasn't hotel staff. The mattress in my room was gross and discolored. I travel with my own sheets for this reason. The couch and extra chair where super gross. You can tell they hadn't been cleaned in a while. They need to be steamed cleaned for sure.

The carpet was gross and stained. The elevators stunk like chemicals. It was freezing upon entering the room and the bed was very uncomfortable.

We have used Hotels.com for all our travel needs but this was one of the worse conditions we have stayed at. We reserved a king. We were sold, kings are sold out so we can only offer you, two twin beds. The floor was not cleaned. There were debris left from previous guests. One door security was broken so anyone can enter the building. I would not want anyone who is traveling to deal with this if you stay in Redding. We travel here for racing but will definitely spend more if needed to get what we reserved/requested.

Hotel is having a renovation so no carpets in halls and smell from the old carpets was awful.
Carpets in our room were grotty & smelt.
No water to sink so had to turn it on myself
Shower didn’t work properly
We booked this hotel late as we were on a long drive from Arizona so had we known about renovations we would have picked another hotel.

There was a renovation in progress of the flooring, which was really loud. My room was located near the stairs back entrance that were left open by the hotel since the key card access was broken. As a solo woman traveler, it did not feel safe for the doors to stay open throughout the night; I would see a homeless man walk past my room and found men's jeans in front of my door at 1am. I should have been notified of the renovation in progress before reservation.

Room was fine although definitely dated. Hotel is under construction on the first floor. Access and egress were dirty and elevators were full of debris. Breakfast was just OK. Loved location next to Cattlemen's restaurant but be warned Happy Hour is only available in Bar.

The building was being remodeled.....dusty, messy, pretty disgusting. Wish I would have known prior to making the reservation.

First off the ladies behind the counter were GREAT! The lady that did the breakfasts in the morning was also lights out!!......BUT the keys had to be redone twice, couldn't get into our room and along with the foyer/entryway being redone this place was a mess!!! We also did not get housekeeping for the 3 days we were there, no beds made up, no clean towels or wash cloths, NOTHING! And the controls on the heat/AC did not react well. Again the people we dealt with were great, they just did not have much to work with.We won't be back to Redding any time soon!

I booked this room on the morning of our stay, knowing that I wouldn’t arrive until late that night. I called the hotel ahead of time to let them know this and the woman working said she would make a note on my reservation.
After having driven all day from Washington, my mom and I had hoped to get a good night’s rest before continuing on home the next day. We checked in around midnight. Unfortunately, (and in a very scary way), we were woken up at 1:30 in the morning by someone seemingly trying to bust through our door (thankfully the deadbolt and extra lock held), and this same person was pounding the door like he was a cop, shouting “security!” This went on for few minutes and we didn’t answer the door.
Obviously we were both startled awake, so my mom called downstairs and the woman at the front desk seemed sort of concerned, and called the “security” guard, and he left.
This morning we called down again when we woke up and we were told that they “were checking the vacant rooms.” I’ve never heard of this or been anywhere where this would be the case. We were both understandably uncomfortable and had a hard time getting back to sleep after this had happened, and the graveyard front desk person was only very minimally “helpful.” I had stayed here in the past and had no issues, that’s why I booked it.
But I most definitely will not be staying here ever again and would advise other women who are traveling to consider other options in the area.

Overall a good place to stay for the money

Rooms were dirty. Furniture is broken and dirty. The water temperature randomly fluctuated between cool and scalding. The laundry was out of order when told otherwise. The 24-hour locks, on entrances, had no locks. The carpets hadn't seen a cleaner in quite a while. The hallways, either.
Had to request an additional towels, 3 times.
Granted their doing a remodel on the 1st floor, great. However, making a disabled persons life harder by blocking exits isn't cool. I don't think it's staff, it's likely managementt. This place isn't worth the $96 a night, and if I could have found a different room, I would have.

The entire bottom floor was in shambles due to construction and a hazard to walk through to get to the elevator the front desk had instructed me to use on the other side of the building. The door on entrance C was propped open with a rock and construction debris (not secure). Slippery plastic all over the floors, paint chips everywhere, lights hanging from wires, dangerous debris, chunks of missing tile, etc.
The elevator was then taped off, and I had to walk back to the lobby to get the elevator there carrying all of my things. Once I got to my room on the second floor, the hallway was filthy, as was my room. Paint chipped off of appliances, smelled unclean and musty. We ended up loading the car back up and checking out 10-15 mins after we had checked in. We paid to stay somewhere else. I will never stay there again nor use this service to book anything in the future.
(Pictures are from this morning when I when back to record evidence since it did not feel secure at night)

I had a poor experience at this location. The building appeared rundown, carpet was dirty, elevator very smelly and old. The room was very dirty, the bed was old, sunk and uncomfortable. I found a bug on the bed that looked a lot like a bed bug (I showed it to the receptionist). There were multiple hairs in the bathroom, and the sink and bathtub did not drain properly. I reported all this feedback to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager, however, manager was not on site and I was told their last day working would be the next day. Front desk person was not able to help and just gave me a piece of paper to jot down my contact information. It’s been over a week and have not received a call back yet. I was very disappointed as I’ve stayed in several other La Quinta properties and never had issues. Will not be staying at the Redding location again.
