They were under construction but did not make us aware ahead of time.
There was no security because the main lobby was being renovated and they had all the guests coming through a side door that they left open 24hrs which was not monitored.
Thankfully our room was already renovated and very up to date! Some dirt and dust in the corners though.
The pool was closed without any heads up until we arrived.
Also - we were trying to save money and purchased several microwave meals instead of eating out. We did not know until we arrived that there was no microwave in the rooms (Even though it was advertised.) the only microwave available for use was in the makeshift lobby. (A tiny office space on the second floor barely big enough to fit more than 5 people.)
I understand you are renovating - bit it seems little consideration went into serving the guests you are still offering services to in the mean time.

Understand renovations going on, but room did not have a trashcan, nor hair dryer or ice bucket. Coffee machine there with coffee,no cups, sugar or creamer! Absolutely a beautiful room and air conditioning, was extremely clean. Very nice check in woman.

The hotel is currently a construction site with all the amenities currently not available. No restaurant, no gym, no laundry, and during half of my stay, no wifi.
Only positive is the rooms have been refurbished and are looking good.

NOISY being right next to the interstate. Ask for a room on the opposite side of the building. Hotel is under construction, but we paid the full price as if it were completed. Dust and noise and no amenities or warm breakfast.

My room was invaded, my belongings pawed though and items were stolen. Will never stay at an Ihg hotel again. Staff at desk were incompetent or rude.

I would have NEVER booked this hotel had it been disclosed it was under renovation and the pool and restaurant AND the front doors were all closed so you had to squeeze in a back door with a long walk with limited parking spaces and take an elevator to the 2nd floor just to check in. I did not get the room I paid for. I booked a King with a sofa bed and I got a room with 2 double beds. There were only 2 towels in the room that sleeps 4 and I booked for 3 people so I had to call and get towels. The remote was MIA and there was not any information anywhere in the room like... pardon our mess - pool is closed during renovation. They did tell you about the restaurant at check in but that is of course past the cancellation window so you are STUCK. I'm a frequent traveler and this was my first Crowne Plaza experience. I will never book at one of their hotels again. It's about communication and being polite. I stood at that check in desk for minutes while 3 people talked to each other 24 inches in front of my face without ANY of them even making eye contact or nodding in my direction to say... "we will be right with you" - In an industry that relies on return business... that is shocking to me.

Hotel is under construction. There is trash all over the parking lot. Zero security. Main entrance is some weird door and check in is on the 2nd floor. Very strange. Plus it smells like weed. It is what js. They should have told me it was torn up. Not ok.

Great spot, we had a few hiccups but overall a great place to stay. Low scores on cleanliness is due to the massive construction project going on right now. Room was very clean and modern.

I was not able to stay. Couldn't find entry to hotel due to construction. Construction was at every potential entry. Construction workers were everywhere. I did not stay because it did not feel safe. I advised the desk by phone from the pking lot at the property. Found another hotel that
felt much safer.
Please do not charge my card!!!

Property is under renovation. The new rooms are nice but the work is shotty. I don’t know if they’re coming back around to finish the little leftover unfinished work, but until then it’s good enough. The rates are still good, the tv had a lot of good channels but I don’t think it was completely set up because there was no information on what shows I was watching. Just little things but I’m sure it will all get resolved once renovations are complete. Other than that I was very comfortable, the bed was wonderful, the furniture is nice, and the showers are great too.

Was not informed of construction in progress and dining closed. Specifically chose hotel due to in house dining. Understand construction debris but that doesn’t mean you should shuffle through last falls leaves and cigarette butts to get to the temporary entrance.

The light switches to turn lights on bed were missing
And we stayed 2 nights and the cleaning ladies were knocking by 845am and check out is 11am! And I don’t want my room adjoin to someone else

So i booked a week in advanced. Check in was at 4pm. Received 2 calls around 7:15pm when i was 10 mins away and using the gps on my phone so i did not answer. When i went in to check in, the hotel was under construction and after 10 mins waiting for the hotel staff member to finish his personal conversation i found out they were sold out. He gave me the numbe r to expedia to gwt a refund but that was itm after traveling 4 hrs wi th 3 jids, i was very upsetm he apologized but that didnt soove the problem i had to find a last minute hotel. Like dont accept expedia reservations if you are going to give my room away and call after the fact to tell me. Worse experience ever.

I told them not to run my security deposit on my main card, to run it on my business card. They ran it on both and all they provided was snacks or a meal instead of a discount.
There was supposed to be a couch, there wasn't. Water was cold, toilet was slow to flush and had minimal water in it so you could see fresh streaks from previous use.
My car window was smashed in in their parking lot and they did not have any cameras for footage from see who did it.

The stay was okay but the main issues I had was there I did not have hot water for 3 days which was difficult. Also, the water had a white mist to it so I had to make sure I did not ingest it.

This Crowne Plaza is under renovation. I get that. But do customers have to look at piles of gross, wet used mattresses stacked up outside? Our room was not a renovated room. It was clean. The toilet was not attached to the floor! Imagine sitting down and almost falling because the toilet rocks back and forth. And the tank lid was cracked. Breakfast buffet, which was not included in the room price, was mediocre. Scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, greasy bacon, gross looking grits with nothing to put on them. No toast. English muffin or bagel that had to be toasted with one two-slot toaster. Nothing labeled.
Also, if 2 guests sit down at a 4 top, then 2 place settings should be removed. Nope. Just left on the table. Filthy water stained ceiling tiles in the dining area
Broken, loose tile right at the elevator entrance is a serious trip hazard.
While i understand they are renovating, there was no excuse for the overall condition of the common areas. Do better.

The entire experience was terrible. The person who checked me in had a horrible attitude. The next night when I went to take a shower it was broken water went every where. I got soaking wet the floors and ceiling also was wet. I called the front desk and no one answered so I walked down to the desk and explained what had happened. The front desk lady called maintenance and he said well I patched it before and I won't be able to fix it tonight. She did move to another room that didn't have a microwave or a refrigerator in it. Eventhough she was nice it was just a horrible experience. I won't be returning there ever again

The hotel was okay. They are renovating and there was work on the 2 floors above me. You heard them early in the morning working. I stayed on the fourth floor.

The young lady at the front desk gave me 2 double beds instead of the king that I booked for Hotels.com. When asked why, she instantly gave my partner an attitude. When a manager was requested she snapped back and said there isn't one. Another young lady came and explained to us the policy and handled the situation the correct way by compensating 2 free breakfasts, since there wasn't an available king rooms, she was pleasant and apologetic. The hotel overall is very clean, but the walls a really thin. Could hear the people next door having sex, it felt as though they were in my room.

The experience was bad from checking in to check out when I arrived to the hotel to check in which was after the check in time I was told that they needed 15 to 20 minutes to get a room ready for us so I left and came back 45 minutes later to find out there was still no room available for us was given no other option then to take a double bed when we went up to the room there was trash in the hallways in a bag just left later on we went and got dinner came back and was met with a huge huge European roach.It was late so we stayed even though we very much wanted to go!!The bed was very uncomfortable. The pool was nice.

I was worried when we checked in our room and saw ear plugs and a note saying “Apologies for the noise, we are under renovation!” Luckily we did not hear any construction noise on a holiday weekend. The hotel badly needs a renovation - the bathroom was as clean as it could be, but saw lots of corrosion and scratches on the toilet and tub. Also annoying that we had to call and ask for bedding for the pullout couch (and extra towels). But it was clean and the staff seemed nice, but definitely they were understaffed.

VERY OLD HOTEL. SMELLED MOLDY. SOFA IN ROOM WAS STAINED AND NASTY LOOKING. CARPET APPEARED DIRTY, MOLDING IN THE ROOM AND BATHROOM LOOSE. NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL SHOULDN'T HAVE WAITED SOLONG TO RENOVATE

The hotel is under major renovations and I can see why!
My room was full of mold/mildew smell. I woke up with a horrible headache and congestion. I checked out and within an hour every was back to normal.

We had room supposed to fit for people and it has only two full beads and no chairs to sit
And the fire alarm go on every night and we have to run downstairs

Wi-Fi did not work in the room. Bed mattress was very worn and lumpy. Decor was outdated and in need of a complete renovation. Breakfast was awful.

Property had construction going on 2 floors right above room we were not told of this situation before coming to hotel it was crazy they put ear plugs in the room so how are you supposed to watch tv if ear plugs are needed. also, the room was a non-smoking room when we entered the room. The smoke detector was pulled off the wall. We notified the front desk. They just said they would note it and left it hanging off the wall.
