Great location close to everything Cabo has to offer, fantastic views from the pool deck over the marina, convenient to dive shops for those who scuba, comfortable beds, working AC, and great food at both restaurants. Unfortunately, they required us to wear single-use-plastic arm bands which could not be taken off at night / will only go into landfill trash, yet did nothing to help us navigate the property as we also had to use our key cards to transfer between any floors, including the pool deck. This became problematic as the key cards kept malfunctioning. They also did not offer water without a cost and only provided old school single use plastic bottles, without any opportunity to recycle :( With this price, we expect filtered water included (and refilling stations) or at minimum aluminum / recyclable containers when tap water is not suitable for drinking.

The staff were ALL fantastic....super kind and friendly.the food was absolutely horrible in every restsurant for every meal i had..seriously horrible.and the coffee shop in the lobby made the worlds worst water/coffee???..the all inclusive was a let down since i dont drink alcohol..so glad i only paid an extra 11$ per day for it..someone i met there paid almost 1000$ a day (for 2) for the all inclusive..they were very upset..these are U.S. dollars...other than the seriously nasty food (the breakfast brunch was a mish mash of god knows what..i did try most of it and the only thing i thought was good was the french toast and the refried beans..) the staff was so lovely..the pool was great and the location central and near everything..the loud music at night doesnt bother me ...it is afterall mexico.

I like Tesoro because it is on the marina right in the middle of town. I had a marina view room that that was spacious and clean with daily room service and clean towels This was one of the very first hotels in Cabo so it is older but they keep it nice for the price. My reservation came with breakfast buffet and parking included. You are a ten minute walk from twenty five restaurants and a twenty minute walk from fifty restaurants. All of the tourist activities are all around the marina. Night clubs are all a ten minute walk unless you’re in stilettos. If you’re looking for a bougie thousand a night hotel this is not your place!

What a great time, we have been here a couple of times and all I have to say is that this is one class place. The employees every day were so gracious to say greetings morning ,noon and night. It's just the little things that makes me want to return.

The room I stayed in had a terrible smell to it. It was a smell that I thought would be mold.
I shared my concern with the front desk and there was no follow up.

Perfect location walking distance to everything in downtown Cabo. The room was large. Everyone working here is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant by the pool was fantastic. Great view of the harbor while eating breakfast.

Staff is very friendly, great service. I liked the restaurant food and the location by the marina walk. The hotel location is very good if you want a central, walkable location. Room had a sewer smell and didn’t have any soap for shower, but it was roomy and I liked the marina view.

The only thing was I did not know where the lobby was. I went to the old lobby first. A bit confusing! Other than that a great stay!

Solid hotel in heart of the marina. Well trained staff breakfast included is a plus. Pool is excellent . Marina view is worth the plus price. Our second stay. We would return

The stay at Tesoro was good. We had a glitch at the beginning when they switched our room telling us it was the same but two beds. Well it didn’t have the balcony with marina view that we booked. We had to wait till next day to get requested room so couldn’t really settle in till then. They tried to delay another day and we said nope not happening and then suddenly we had the proper room in 40 minutes.
Bell boys were awesome, so friendly and helpful. Housekeepers were friendly and efficient. There is some pressure to sign up for membership “meeting” which we repeatedly said no to.
Pool area is awesome, bartenders are fast and fun. Onsite breakfast was great.
Overall a good experience.

Excellent location, we stayed at a room Keith a view to the marina. It is worthwhile spend the few extra dollars for it.
The food variety is great if you want full breakfast and simple food for being by the pool.
We like to adventure dinning out so this hotel is well located to go be within in 10 mins to all fine dinning places. Plus 5 min walk to famous Cabo Wabo.

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We received an upgrade at no charge, which was a nice surprise. The area around the hotel has lots of dining options and the included breakfast buffet was great

Here are the pros and cons list with this place.
Pros: Great Location, large clean rooms, great views of the harbor, competitive price.
Cons: Painfully long (15 min) check in with no line. You have to deal with 3 cards, room, parking, towels. Room cards never work, place is showing it's 30 year age. Breakfast omelettes usually take 15 to 20 minutes to get as there is only one person at the grill. Food is 3 star.

Tesoro is excellent Expefia is terrible could not get the room I booked because Expedia shows picture of a room that is not the classification expected as shown in Expedia picture and description
Hotel said Expedia has been having issues with Tesoro.
After several reception staff spoke with us we are accommodated and loved the hotel, included fabulous breakfast, lovely balcony and 5 minutes to our tours leaving from the marina on Cabo Trek
The room was immaculate with a great shower and even included 2 soft bathrobes
The breakfast choices were many hot Mexican dishes, fruits and breads also a station for cooked to order omelets and French toast

Nothing I didn't like. Best location in Cabo. First few times I went there with my husband, we stayed there...No opportunity to get a timeshare. Bought in at Cabo Villas/now Corazon on Medano beach. Still go back to Tesoro once a year. Highly recommend. PS: Breakfast buffet, which if included, is excellent!

The only complaint was our toilet was leaking and shower grout was moldy but maintenance came right away to make the repairs.

The Tesoro is a great budget friendly option. The staff is fantastic. The location is walking distance from all of the fun stuff to do in downtown Cabo and right in the Marina.
The property is a bit outdated and rooms are small.
Breakfast was delicious.
Pool chairs can be hard to get when its busy.
I would stay here again!

We got the room on hotels.com. We were stationed in the street back side of the hotel a long hike from the lobby. There was some street noise and significant bar noise at night. The am buffet was included and it was fine but nothing special. Probably the marina view would be better. It was just one night.
