Was an easy place to find easy off then on the interstate and close you restaurant within 10-12 min.

I had a nice stay here twice about a week apart as I made a trip east. It was fairly easy to find and there was a short drive to fast food nearby. The staff were lovely -- the first stay, many guests all showed up at the same time, and the gal behind the desk was patient and friendly. She remembered my name when I saw her later that evening. The gentleman in the mornings remembered me when I came through on my second stay. Breakfast was "meh" - no hot options, and I didn't bother the first time. The second stay I did grab some instant oatmeal. The area seems a bit scary...maybe? Woman traveling alone so I just was aware of my surroundings. Overall though, I had two very good nights sleep and the location was great for my trip. I would stay here again.

We were treated well at this hotel from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff to the person serving us breakfast in the dining area. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would stay there again if the opportunity arose to do so!!

This was a very nice, clean hotel. Rooms were small but beds were super comfy and the shower was amazingly powerful! This was the perfect place to get a good night's rest.

Check in staff were friendly and efficient, also observed her being extra helpful and kind to another guest. Every aspect of the room was clean, was nice to find both a microwave and fridge, and the fan/heater was easy to use and worked well. There were plenty of easy to access and within reach outlets (traditional and USB) around the room. I personally love this layout of room - bench seat under the window, desk with chair under a tv and next to a tall cabinet with the microwave, coffee, small counter, and fridge, wall mounted bedside tables on each side of the bed. While not brand new, I think the simplicity of the layout (few upholstered pieces, wall mounted tables/counters) make it efficient for staff to keep clean so no hesitation booking here or recommending it to others.
Only note I will make is that my booking mentioned included breakfast but the breakfast area was closed, including the coffee and tea station. Wasn’t an issue for me but might be worth confirming availability of breakfast if you’re planning on relying on it.

We arrived late to check in. The front desk clerk was assisting another party and there was an issue with the second guest. It appeared their issue was resolved in a friendly manner. There was a very pleasant aroma upon entering that carried through most of the hallways. The place was clean, neat and tidy.

It is outside the downtown area with less congestion. Hotel was clean and organized. Staff were very friendly. Price was good.

The lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. Stepping into the elevator it smelled of marijuana as did the entire hallway walking to our room at the end. Hotel is next to a railroad track and it happened to have several trains go through overnight.

The front desk was awesome wish i would have gotten names to give them a shout out but was too tried my Traveling overnight. Will stay there again if im in Charleston WV

It was very nice, rooms were quiet and staff was helpful in determining best dining choices. However, Who working in the breakfast bar did not feel like doing her job. She did not put things out, and the breakfast was quite skimpy for choices. That was our only complaint.

There was no electricity the entire time I was there. A bad storm had just come through. I feel in this case I should have been able to cancel my reservation and get at least part of the cost refunded. I had to make the reservation at the same day as my stay because my husband was transferred to the local hospital for a heart problem.

The reviews about the continental breakfast is spot on... Slim pickings... Waffle maker with syrup, cereal, apples, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. The reviews about the rooms being small are not necessarily true. I think it depends on what type of room you purchase..? The room we opted for (2 queen bed suite) was very spacious. There was a wall dividing our hotel room. One side had the 2 queen beds and a reading nook next to the window along with a small standing closet/open drawer combo unit. The other side of the wall had a second reading nook along the window along with a small desk, table and couch. The 2 reading nooks had a thick cushion and it's own lights and were long enough for 2-3 people to sit or 1 person to lay on and it. My family of 4 (husband, 2 kiddos - 7 & 9 year old, & I) would definitely stay here again!

Great stopover-large rooms, comfortable beds, excellent high-pressure shower. There’s some roughness around the edges, and breakfast is more like the older continental style-a waffle station, but otherwise only cereal, yogurt, toast, and fruit..

Rooms were clean but very small. Very small area and few tables for breakfast. Room to room insulation was poor as I could hear the people talking next door at 1:00 am

It was amazing. We were in town for a show choir competition! But they were extremely friendly and nice. They were very welcoming. Everything was great! The room was amazing! If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be staying again!

It was noisy but nothing that the TV/or youtube fan sound couldn't tune out! A couple places to eat close by. Hardees, and Ginos, and a couple gas stations. Nice lay out for Breakfast too.

Hotel is attractive and clean. I rented the suite which has it's own heating/cooling system. We arrived late and went to bed after turning the temperature selections to desired settings. The bedroom worked okay but the heat pump function in the seating area just moved cold air around. This was not apparent at first but the area was very cold in the morning. The other issue issue the breakfast. If you are looking for low carb your only option is a boiled egg. There was not even a lite yogurt offered. I expected better for the price.

The Microtel was nice. We enjoyed the living room separate from the bedroom. The fridge, microwave, and desk area was very convenient. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower pressure was also great! This is our first time staying in a Microtel by Wyndham, we both look forward to staying again.

We found the location and the room to be just great--clean and comfortable, if not roomy. We thought the breakfast was a bit sparse; basically hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and cereal. Not even a bagel. But we would stay here again.

Booked for a family member that was visiting their spouse at the local hospital. They were very satisfied with the experience and stated that they would use the facility again. They said that being that close to the hospital allowed them to feel somewhat better.
