Booked on Trivago. Convenient location. Entire facility very clean. Breakfast was better than most. If we pass through Barstow again we’d definitely stay here.

Staff not friendly. Soap for shower smelled like bad lotion. Breakfast eggs looked like they'd been sitting there for hours at 7 am. No real healthy options.

Looking for an inexpensive no frills place on the way home from Texas, we found this place on line and were not disappointed. Yes, the blanket was thin and the breakfast basic, but about what we expected for the price. Room had fridge with two bottles of water, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom even had toothpaste and toothbrush!

Friendly efficient check-in. Room was clean and included, wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and iron board. Desk, chair, lamps with USB charge ports. Bathroom had all amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste if needed. Great shower with lots of pressure. Breakfast has everything you can think of for adults and their kids. Several charging stations available for EV's. I would make this my first choice for staying when passing through in the future.

It was a nice spot. Conveniently located. Only problem was the pillows were not comfortable. Also, the recommended Italian restaurant was really bad.

Overall was a surprise how nice it was. The only downfall is that the lady who ran the front office the next morning for breakfast - unlocked the door and walked off - she didn't say good morning, open the door once she unlocked - held her head down... didn't even look at us. Rude!

Overall, the stay was great. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was as described. There were just minor things that could’ve been improved… the door was very hard to open, the top of the toilet was broken, the bathroom faucet was a bit hard to adjust… but again, overall, everything was great!

Quick overnight stay as traveling thru. Was leary of staying here but other well know hotels sold out. This was a blessing in disguise. We will certainly stay here again as we make this trip frequently. Great price, reasonable dog fee, fabulous breakfast and good coffee! Room had big refrig n freezer to keep our road trip items fresh. Beds comfy, front desk check in a delight. Thank you to the staff.

The facility/rooms were very clean. Bathroom fixtures are a bit worn. Beds were comfy. My only real issue was the breakfast. Decaf coffe only instant. Stayed twice; first time ran out of orange juice and raisin bran. No low sugar cereal option;even instant oatmeal wad flavored and sweet. Only yogurts had artificial sweetener. White bread for toast. Would like to see plain oatmeal, cheerios or corn flakes and maybe greek yogurt. Attendant was on top of stocking the hot items.

We really loved the room and it was really clean and spacious. The breakfast included was great! The kids loved making waffles and it was nice to have fresh coffee and a hot breakfast to start our day. The room we were in had two beds but they were not comfy, they were so hard. I didn't sleep at all that night. My husband woke up with a sore back. We were there for only one night. Over all it was a good experience, plus the staff was really nice and helpful. Still it was a win, win for us!!

Admittedly, the room was only $82 for the night. However, just too many things were in need of review or repair. The clerk at check in was nice- but when we TV problem she ended up hanging up on me. The problem was the TV blocks the cable box and it blocks the signal from the remote. Very hard to use the remote- had to move the TV to the far edge of the dresser,The phone itself was very weak - very hard to hear. The new night clerk, Ruby, was nice and got us an extra pillow quickly, There are cracks in the bathroom sink, the toilet, sometimes "howls" loudly when refilling the tank. The bed was very comfortable. The floor is not carpeted and is very cold.The whole room needs work.

We've stayed at the CA Inn a few times and they never disappoint. The rooms are clean, the shower is hot, the beds are clean and the rooms don't smell like cigarettes. For the price, this place is great.

I would recommend this hotel- very clean and the employee that checked us in was very welcoming and very informative. Not a complaint but my only suggestion would be that housekeeping wait until we have checked out or check out time, before knocking on the door.

We were happy with the cleanliness of our rooms but the tub needs replaced because it had cracks and chipped edges. The blowdryer in the bathroom did not work for more than 5 seconds. We had no hot water just lukewarm water to take a shower in. The dinning room 's waffle maker needed to be replaced because it had not been maintained properly due to organic buildup in it causing to need a lot of oil to prevent your waffle from sticking to it. To make matters worse, I received a phone call asking me if I wanted to stay for another night not realizing when zi said "no" I was getting kicked out earlier than expected. When i first arrived, I asked about whether or not it was okay to check in early and I told the lady when I plan on checking out and she requested for my card and charged it the total amount for a day earlier than I mentioned. My point is, the staff needs to be clear with their communication with both the guests and each other because no one likes unnecessary surprises.

Amenities were unexpectedly comprehensive. Complimentary breakfast was very satisfying and welcome. All service completed with a smile. The room and bed were extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay there again when the opportunity arises.
