Old building, noise level was a problem. We didnt sleep due to someone above us pacing throughout the night and a harley davidson pulled in at midnight. And even though we were on the forth floor it sounded like it was right next to us. Unless you are the heaviest sleeper do not stay here. Location is great for skiing but otherwise not worth it.

The staff at the front desk were awesome. The heated pool was amazing. We used the family room too. The only thing it lacked was breakfast, but we knew that when we booked. Just wish it had been included.

The North Star Inn never disappoints. The room was nice, clean, hot shower, spacious. The lobby was comfortable, lots of stairs to sit at with a fire going. Nothing beats their heated outdoor pool with a view of Killington. Great location close to the mountain and restaurants. Five stars!

We love the North Star! The rooms are reasonablely priced, the outdoor hot tub swimming pool is great and we love grabbing dinner at the bar/restaurant they have!

Great place. Great location- close to mountain and good restaurants. Simple and clean. Outdoor pool felt like a hot tub and we really enjoyed that after a day of skiing. Game room was also fun for kids. Would stay there again!

This is a nice hotel especially for a family.
We had dinner at the restaurant on site and it was delicious and the service was great.
My only complaint is that the hotel overall is hot. In our room which was a suite we turned off both thermostats because they were set at 80 when we checked in and the heat in the bedroom would not turn off. It was uncomfortable to sleep.

When I arrived, there was a half empty can of White Claw in the room refrigerator and the freezer section had a chunk of ice so big it took up over half the small amount of space, making the freezer section almost unusable. Room thermostat seemed to be 4 degrees off. No "do not disturb" sign to put on outside of door. People staying above me had heavy footsteps and I heard them stomping around at times, and I also was able to hear hallway conversations, kids running up and down the hall, and other people's doors being slammed shut constantly. I stayed at this hotel a long time ago when their restaurant had breakfast and I'd much prefer a breakfast option than the current bar/lounge with dinner. Coffee and tea are available in the morning but the hot water for tea tastes like it was run through a coffee maker. Hotel was clean and location is great if you plan to ski Killington. Staff was friendly.

The place is kind of dated. OK for a ski lodge and short stay. Parking lots not maintained well.

Enjoy the amenities and the friendliness of staff. Perfect spot to stay on a ski trip. Lobby area perfect for eating with friends with some takeout. Fire roaring, games for kids and the outdoor pool is killer after a long day. Love staying here.

Short stay for a solo trip. One day in the area and it was a very attractive hotel. Entrance is in the back, surprised, but pleased with the overall quiet ness.

The hotel was perfect for our family. The rooms were nice, we were able to hang out at the lounge while the kids went to the pool and game room. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice lodge with some fun stuff about it. Little pub. Affordable tourist and necessities show. Fun game room, and a friendly staff!!!!
The place did the job but needs a little TLC. The walk to the Foundry wasn't shoveled. They ran out of complimentary coffee despite having 5 carafes. There was some smudge on the wall near the shower head. The décor is a little outdated and the walls are thin.

Good Value on access Road to the Slopes. Room was updated and Beds comfortable. No Hot Tub but Outdoor Pool is Very Hot and does the job. Only thing that would be good if they Had Breakfast. Would definitely return.

Great location if going to ski. Their welcome packet was very informative as to places to see, dine and eat. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. One comment that I was not too happy about was the complimentary coffee times. It says, 5a - 11am. But the 5 days that we were there, only one day that the earliest coffee or hot water were out was 530am. No coffee pot in the room.

At the time of my stay, we cannot use the A/C but nobody inform that in advance. They told me that, because I asked. Then recommended that if room was hot, open the window. Due to the cool weather that worked, but in our 2nd night a truck of a construction (very close to the window) started at 7am, and we wake up.

North Star has a classic ski lodge feel. Nothing fancy, but a great value and quick drive to Killington (only a few minutes away). My room was exceptionally clean and spacious with plenty of room/storage for my ski gear. I stayed for five nights and appreciated the microwave and fridge so I could plan some meals in. The outdoor heated pool was a big added bonus.

rooms including mattress and bathroom needs updating. Lots of cold air coming through the window and front wall.
staff were cordial. Ran out of coffee by 7:15am.
