The water pressure was really low and no hot water

Clean , rooms exactly as described. Safe area as it’s more industrial than other locations. Staff was super nice and accommodating.

Over all the hotel and stay was very nice with friendly personel Only negative issue was that i didn't get clean towels for two days and had to carry the bundle of dirty towels to the front desk and exchange for clean ones

Could never get a nice hot shower. Always, just barely hot. Cosmetics around the hotel needed to be addressed. Seam from sheetrock to elevator was done poorly. An area that mostly everyone would come past. Couch had what looked to be a cigarette burn on it when I checked. Reported it asap so I didn't get dinged for it.

Hotel personnel was good. Free bkfast ok. May need a different preparer. Room was fair, toilet tank would not fill back up automatically, I had to remove cover to manually operate. Room 220. The swimming pool was VERY CLOUDY..YUK. But it was quiet

Just a quick overnight stay. Room floors could have been cleaner and bed was very firm. Otherwise it was a nice hotel. Really good breakfast and good service.

No breakfast was available, when asked for something to eat the elderly woman was very rude and refused to make anything for the buffet, even thou it was still in the available time for breakfast. Was not given towels or a blanket or toilet paper when asked for some.

Nice property, awesome breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Sleeping difficult due to noisy neighbors and lots of kids running halls. A/C unit was noisy and shut off and on all night - no way to set fan on so it would block noises. TV went out morn of 3rd day. Was near 7 pm (and second request) to get it checked. Offered a room change, but was too late and we were too tired to mess with moving to another room. Left next am.

Breakfast didn't have a variety of items.

These are the nicest people I have ever encountered at a hotel in 53 years. I'm so impressed.

I booked our rooms on hotel.com and saw their pictures and prices. When we arrived it was better then the pictures. It was very clean and organized and the clerks were very friendly. We had a great stay and will be back. The clerks are very honest. When I checked in I left my credit card on the counter. The clerk called our room and told me I had left it laying on the counter. He was a very professional and honest employee which is hard to find now a days.

This property was close to the freeway, but far enough from the freeway did not hear any of his noise.

It’s confortable hotel. Closing to the beach and good breakfast .

- no hot water (unable to shower) on second day. Staff said a boiler issue. - continental breakfast didn’t have enough food out (seemed understaffed) - flooring in room was wavy on one side of the bed (seemed hollow under the carpet). - exterior door key access points to building not working

Very clean. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast changed daily and was well serviced. Only thing that didn't work in our room was the vent fan. It was very very loud and we were unable to use it with which a family all staying together would of been nice lol.

We've stayed here oncd before and had a great experience. This time, my 6yo daughter was stepping out of the elevator and put her hand on the door for support. Her hand got pulled farther and farther into the wall and another guest and I struggled to free her. The guest ran to the front desk for help and they sent the GUEST to get me ice. No staff or manager ever came to offer assistance, ask if an ambulance was needed, ask if she was okay...nothing. My daughter threw up from the pain and we had to rush her to the ER. The elevator was never closed for the safety of other guests or to be further inspected. The hotel pretended as if it never happened. I had to ask to file an incident report and then had to go down to the lobby at 4am when a manager was available. She said she didn't understand what I wanted the staff to do if a guest was already helping me...and that the staff member can't just leave the front desk if someone is waiting to check in/out. A serious medical emergency that takes place steps away from thr front desk doesn't warrant the staff to step away?? Accidents happen, I don't blame the hotel for that. But the way they handled the situation was pure negligence and unprofessional. Additionally, our shower water was luke warm. Sink water was nice and hot though. There was also a hair in my eggs. We will never be returning to another Choice Hotel and especially to Comfort Inn La Porte.

The only complaint— we had to move rooms since the lock on first room did not open door. That was two trips down to front desk. We moved rooms and one key works and the other key did not work. After moving rooms, and experiencing another issue with key—it seems there needs to be maintenance on key locks.

Staff is very nice I feel that they do not have enough employees to keep up with property maintenance or food for a good breakfast…the drive way into the property also needs paving

Staff is nice! The bathroom was quite dirty and the breakfast items were all empty the 4 times we went down and checked to see if it’d been replenished—even the waffle batter was out. We stay in Lp once a month, usually at the Holiday Inn Express, but tried this one and will probably go back to the HIE.

Great stay. Bring an extra blanket. The room was a crisp 62 degrees when we walked in. We ended up turning the AC off the room was so cold. Room size was awesome. We were a family of four. Got 2 queen beds plus it has a small sitting area with a pull out couch it has room for another two people. 4 minute drive to Sylvia Beach, 15 minutes from Keemah. Overall good place to stay.

Hotel was very clean, bed was very comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful . I would stay again
