This is a great hotel with an amazing location. There is no pool or hot tub, but it is within walking distance from the beach, shops and numerous food/beverage establishments. It is right across from the fire station, so be aware of the noise there.

I did not realized that this is placed in between 2 roads, so there was noise most of the night from cars. Also spring breakers came back late and were loud. You can hear everything outside the room and we were on the 2nd level. Its like a motel, so your room goes to outside, and there was a window above the door that shines light in all night. They also charge $15 parking if you use hotels.com instead of booking directly. We checked out a day early because barely slept.

Walls are thin, heard pipes going off all last night, chainsaw started at 6am thismorning.

Great location but it sounded like we were sleeping next to the train station.walls were so thin we could hear noises like we didn't have them. The door to the room had a window in it so it let light from hallway shining brightly through it the whole night.They did let us check in early because they had a room ready.That was a plus. Had to kill a few spiders in the room.

Excellent location; easy walk to Newport Pier, The Crab Cooker and Alta Coffee, as well as other restaurants. Easy drive to Newport Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza. A real gem in Newport Beach!

The office staff was very accomodating of our needs as aged persons who don't do stairs well and needed help with bringing in our luggage. The room was pleasant and very quiet. Mattress and covers very comfortable. Both soap containers in the shower was labled "Shampoo" and there isn't any place to hang towels (seems to be a hotel trends!) which doesn't make sense. Would have liked tea bags.

We really enjoyed our balcony, especially at sunset and Kevin was very helpful and attentive.

5 nights vacation.
Room was small by US standards but it had a queen bed, one bedside chest, a little fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker, and a table with two chairs so it was adequate. The bathroom had a good size shower but the space between the vanity and the door was tight. A bigger person would struggle.
It was very clean and serviced daily.
There was noise on Saturday night and occasionally from the fire station across the road. Otherwise just traffic noise.
Location is awesome...beach a short walk, and lots of food options around.
Beach equipment and towels available was a nice touch.

This was exactly as advertised, nice and convenient right in Newport Beach with easy access and a cute room. Staff was kind and accommodating, they let us check in early and watched our bags for us for a few hours after checking out so we could go eat.

Very nice chic hotel, clean, comfortable, great amenities, modern, great location ….with a huge problem. AC is similar to a 747 jet take off.
So sad this property has so much , would stay here again BUT not with that unsleepable noise.

We had to wait about a half hour for someone to arrive at the facility to check us in. We received a text on the way to the hotel asking us when we would be there. We arrived very close to the time identified, but still had to wait an extended period to be checked in and given keys.
The room was just okay and not very clean. Bathroom was dirty, with hair still in the tub from a previous guest and a used washcloth still hanging over the curtain rod.
There was periods when the tv would not work. We weren’t there to watch tv, but at periods when we were resting or my husband wanted to catch some of the game while I got ready, that was disappointing.
Lastly, it is advertised on hotels.com that there is a pool on site, but there was no pool to be found during our stay.

The experience was okay; The receptionist will let you know that you paid the hotel from a third party and there is a parking fee. There is no internet even if they say there is internet with no password. No internet, No cable! Other than this it was an okay experience. The surrounding is beautiful.

Location was great! Hotel wasn’t bad- clean (no carpet which is a plus in my eyes). Bare minimum amenities (toiletries, towels,etc.). The noise didn’t bother me at all.
STAFF IS TERRIBLE. When I arrived at 2:50ish (check in is at 3). There was a sign that no one is in and to text them. I texted them to let them know I was there to check in… never replied. Came back at 3:15 still no one.. called and they didn’t answer. Finally a girl came out at 3:30 and was so unfriendly. I wouldn’t have cared about them not being there but the fact that she was so unfriendly and rude made me more annoyed . She literally didn’t even say “hello”. She didn’t explain anything to me just asked for my ID and card and handed me my room key. She also announced my room number in front of the men in the lobby which I thought was inappropriate/not safe. Apparently they don’t stay on the property because when I called around 5 for something they didn’t answer.

A good location to get to different things, was able to walk to daily Mass , the beach and surrounding highlights. I wish the room would have had a table and another chair or 2

The place is so close to the beach. There places to eat and the place is clean. We had a blast.

It was a quick walk to the beach and they did allow me to leave my truck in the parking lot for about an hour after checkout while I grabbed breakfast with my family.
However I didn’t like that they charged me for parking because I booked through Expedia. They didn’t mention anything about it until I was checked in and had paid. They told me after the fact that it was $15.00 a day to park.
It was also very noisy at night…between the bum on the corner yelling all night (who also used the planter behind my parking spot as a toilet), the liquor store next door and people racing up and down the street with their loud exhausts, I can see how some wouldn’t like staying here. Myself however, I was exhausted and fell right asleep.
