Econo Dickson was one of the nicest places we stayed in during our recent vacation.
The room was clean, big, and comfortable. The location was amazing just off the highway and super close to numerous dining options.
We will definitely stay again next year on our way through.

Hotel was as expected. Clean and comfortable. As in most hotels the pillows were not great. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic. You get what you paid for.

Check in was short and sweet. The room was a little dated but clean. The bathroom looked like it was recently updated. The entry door at the rear of the Inn needed some work.
The breakfast wasn’t a usual continental one that you get at costlier places.

This hotel is visually appealing, with a nice design and a clean, welcoming lobby. However, our room had an overwhelming smell of dirty feet that significantly detracted from our stay. While the rest of the room was acceptable, the odor was a major disappointment.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room and lobby was clean. Breakfast was bare minimum. Indoor pool was cold and not heated. Overall stay was fine and I would stay again.

The hotel location was nice, lots of places to eat around, and the hotel looked nice, but the toilet in the bathroom was not bolted down and it rocked. The room was clean though small, but it was fine for a one-night stay.

Overall my stay here was a good experience

Everything was good. It was noisy innthe middle of the night you could hear people in their rooms (toddler crying and musical toys), but not terrible. The pool was warm and great for a quick swim (pool towels were provided in the pool area). Breakfast area was clean and nice selection for continental breakfast. Most of the staff were very friendly. The woman who checked us in wasn't very welcoming, but also not rude or anything. The room is what you would expect for the price, clean and fairly well maintained. The location is close to the interstate and there are several restaurants and gas stations nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Stay here instead of the Days Inn. Less expensive and well kept. The front desk person was very friendly. I will stay there on a regular basis.

The refrigerator in room still had food from a past customer. No juice for breakfast. Limited breakfast at best

It was cheap.

Not sure how this property has such a good rating. Was disappointed the minute I walked into the room and this feeling didn’t stop at the “free breakfast” which was not much of anything other than a waffle iron, cereal, apples and instant oatmeal. Even the coffee wasn’t brewed but came out of a machine which I think uses syrup. The room was set up for someone in a wheelchair. The shower smelled of urine and was dirty looking with some kind of a fold down wood chair hung to the wall. We were to have a queen bed which this wasn’t. Then we heard the dogs in the next room start barking a couple times…. Never again for us.

This is a maintained but aging property. It has the feel of 1980. It is ok for a road trip sleep stop. The problem is that it is expensive (over $100) for what is just a typical $40/night motel. The “breakfast” is a joke. A juice machine and some mini muffins and bread. It would be preferable to just have a coffee and a drinking water machjne.

2 day stay on this visit
Extremely pricey - stay elsewhere
Room A/C units are noisy - drown out the TV
Cleaning of rooms is done with your door open with all of your belongings in the room accessible to anyone
ALL CARB breakfast 6 - 9 am only
Terrible Wifi connection - would not work on several devices - slow on others
Swimming pool closed without notice prior to booking - would be nice to know at time of reservation
Room was totally overlooked for cleaning during our stay with no explanation
Door keys stopped working prior to checkout time
Worst stay I've had at any hotel in this area and I've been doing this for 10 years

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was what was expected and adequate, Overall the stay was very pleasant. I had booked with Expedia and did not get the third day cost reduction. I think I will deal with the airlines and hotels directly from now on.

TV and fridge didn’t work. Toilet was very loose to where I thought it was going to tip over. When leaving I stop at front desk to let them know. Rang bell several times but no one showed.

The only complaint I have about this property is that I had to pay $84 for pet rent. I wasn't expecting this since I usually stay at Motel 6 which doesn't charge anything for my pets. I will probably be staying at Motel 6 from now on.

Simple stay in a great location for local and travel. It's in the middle of Dickson, and about 25min from Nashville on the back side where the best food and book stores are. The room was clean, had a working fridge and microwave, and the TV was simple! Breakfast is breads, two cereal, coffee/juice machine, and apples or bananas with a yogurt that anyone with kidney stones should avid avoid.
Quiet stay, easy to walk to places, just a good stay with no fuss.

I booked this Econolodge for a one night stay as I traveled. Normally, I wouldn’t book an Econolodge but because this particular listing had a pretty high rating, I took a chance. Bad idea.
First thing I noted was a sign at the check in desk saying that they no longer offered breakfast. I booked based on there being breakfast.
The lobby was dark and unwelcoming.
The room, although clean, was worn out and dated. Chipped furniture, uncomfortable bed, thin, cheap, stained linens, crappy tv, and not a single electrical outlet that would hold on to my charger (they were worn out and the unit just fell out), no microwave, noisy ac/heater.
Again…I booked this hotel against my better judgment based on the Hotels.com rating which isn’t an accurate reflection of the quality of this property.

Continental breakfast discontinued. Only juice and coffee served.

Very satisfied with our stay.

Quiet and peaceful. Didn't like the 100.00 damage security deposit needed to get the room. It's not in their info. you don't find out about it until you check in.

We had a quick overnight stay. Was everything we needed except the beds were a little hard. But it was clean. And the price was reasonable.

Much nicer than the place i stayed thr night before except for disrespectful people in the next room. And the toilet was lose from the flange.

We've stayed here multiple times, usually a great experience. However this time we were placed in a room near the lobby/breakfast area. We were awakened very early and could hear everything going on just outside the door.
Will probably stay here again but will be requesting a room on the 2nd floor or further down the hall.

Easy check in. Quiet, safe area. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, basic hotel breakfast. There were some stains on the sheets and the bathroom sink drain was clogged, but it was nothing to ruin my stay. Overall it was nice for a little two night trip.

Had a change of stay. Called the Inn, Lena answered. She was very helpful and pleasant while rearranging my stay. She was the same when I checked in. I stayed four nights. Room was very clean. HVAC worked well. Bathroom was very clean and supplied with the usual small amenities. Breakfast was hot and average. Biscuits a little dry. Parking lot and entrances well lit. No noise. Great stay.
