Location is great. There’s a park across the street. Very quiet on the weekend. Our room was very clean which is of primary importance to me. The finishes seemed a bit dated but again everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable and I got a food night’s sleep. The breakfast is decent but don’t wait until the last minute because the attendant cleans up immediately at the end of the stated meal time. Check in and check out were easy and quick.

The mattress was firm which I love. It was very quiet which I love. The bars of soap were too tiny and the breakfast bar should have been open until 10 am.

When I checked in; the system wasn't reading my transaction from my credit card though it showed approved. I was very hesitant in re-entering my information in fear it would charge. After multiple attempts by staff to run my card, I was charged 4 times and now it will take up to 10 days to get my money back, thought it was conveyed that this would not happen. After speaking with staff on reversing these charges, it proved to be futile and very frustrated. My keys did not work on my door when I first arrived, so I had to get back in touch with staff to resolve the issue, again frustrating. The breakfast choices did not look nor taste fresh, so I had to look elsewhere. I don't think that I would be a very good spokeman on behalf of Wingate after my past stay.

Before booking, the hotel got good reviews, but it was not a good experience. Upon checking-in (after 3pm), we had to wait another 45 minutes for our room to be ready. Upon getting to our room, the room temperature was 76 degrees. It was near 95 outside (summer in Cincinnati). I showered before heading out, but had little water pressure. One elevator was not working and the gym area was a total mess!

Customer service was excellent. staff was very friendly & welcoming. Diane was especially helpful during breakfast time. Our room was clean & comfortable. Pool area was neat & clean. The floor of pool may need some touch up paint, but was clean and perfect for our family. The location is great, directly across from Summit Park and about 20-25 min from some of Cincinnati’s attractions. Would stay again.

Very disappointed! I booked here because of the reviews! Well either the reviews are fake or people have no clue what a nice hotel is like.First off I called to see what type of coffee pot is in the rooms! They said a Keurig ! I was like "GREAT" !!!! When I got there I had to ask for the pot at the front desk! The clerk handed me a little cuisenart coffee pot. I said "I thought you said you had Keurig pots"? He looked at me confused.There is a HUGE difference,one uses pods and one uses k-cups. I ended up going to walmart and got me a little Keurig. Then the hotel is VERY run down !!!! Bed was comfy! The air conditioner had a foul odor coming from it every time it kicked on,and it was very loud! The breakfast was a real joke! Just nasty ! Overall I would rate this place no more than a 6

We would have requested another room but we arrived for late check in at midnight. Our room had black mold in toilet bowl around toilet seat and black mold around sink drain. Air conditioning unit not cooling off room with intermittent fan. Upon checkout at 1100, property manager noted complaints and didn’t offer apologies.
