Recovering from Hurricane Ian, the Lighthouse Resort has impressed me with their hospitality and resilience. While there are only a few other businesses that are up and running, they are at full speed and we are very grateful.

The hotel is very comfortable and cute. Excellent location. Amazing tiki bar and environment. Even though they are still struggling with effects of the last hurricane. It was comfortable and you wouldn’t notice.
The rooms after spacious with a small kitchenette. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Our suite was spotless when we entered. We were so happy. We actually met the person who cleaned it. Her name was Karen and she was wonderful. She did a great job and she was so friendly.

The hotel is ok but the loud music and noise from the bar kept our family up until past midnight. Not what we expected.

Great location and the tiki bar is great and always happening with great prices!

Needs better water pressure for showers….Tiki bar was so much fun….overall we had a good time….would stay there again

We enjoyed our stay at the Light House. It is a bit run down but with what that area has been through recently theyve done an excellent job of getting reopened and things up and running. I would not reccommend this hotel to families as it has the only bar that stays open until 2 AM so is very busy and loud. The staff is excellent and so nice. We didnt spend time at the pool but it looked very nice and clean. It was in a great location to walk to the beach and the Times Square area. We would stay there again.

We had a separate cottage that was wonderful.

Had a fun time at this resort.
Over half the resort was wiped out by Ian in 2022, so there is a lot of rebuilding going on, adjacent to where you stay.
The elevators don't work, but its only got 4 floors, so no big deal. The pool and fabulous Tiki Bar was open, and its convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Dirty floor.

We traveled with an infant and were given a room next to the bar. The mattresses are impossible to sleep in and the front desk lady was anything but courteous and helpful.

It was a good stay. A lot of construction noise during the day which was necessary because of the hurricane damage. No working elevators but we knew that in advance. A fan rattled in the bedroom causing some annoyance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the Lighthouse is ideal for access to the island and the beach.

Our room seemed to be updated However day one we found a roach in our kitchen sink. Quiet unsettling. Our room/balcony faced the construction zone on property so we heard hammering for 10 straight hours daily.
My biggest concern was the elevators that were under construction. How can this property allow this elevator company Clark Elevators to leave the elevators that are under construction and UNATTENDED, doors wide open, on the ground floor AS WELL AS the 2nd Floor doors wide open on 2nd fl, and the car was not stopped at the 2nd floor. Any young curious kid wouldnt be stopped by construction tape/gates or cones, NOTHING was protecting the patrons/guests from danger...any yound child would have the ability to run right into that UNATTENDED elevator and fall to the ground!!! Lighthouse should be fined or this company should be fined $$$$$ to leave such a dangerous job site that is under construction UNSECURED! We witnessed this multiple times during the day and throughout the week!
VERY DISTURBING..

The lighthouse resort in. Was a very enjoyable experience.

Extremely poor condition. Needs renovation. Very loud, tiki bar was loud till 2. Floors were broken, shower barely worked. Probably the worst conditions we have ever stayed in. Pictures online are very deceiving! We could see daylight out if both of the rusty doors to our room. Would not recommend or stay here again!

The room was nicely decorated overlooking the pool. It is across the street from new Margaritaville Hotel and unfortunately we heard valet too often. Also beer keg deliveries early in the morning. The Tiki hut (bar/restaurant) had music most of the day into the night around 11PM so if you are looking for quiet-not going to happen. Fort Myers Beach is still rebuilding so not much around. The beach is lovely but you need to bring your own beach chairs.

We only stayed for two nights, very lucky to get the booking. We love the vibe of staying in this lively and cannot praise the bar staff enough. Food was delish and entertainment ...
Entertaining. Rooms pleasant enough, basic but clean and cute. Would definitely stay again.

Can be noisy in the evenings if you are located near the bar, but location is great, as is service.

I traveled with my three young kids. When I arrived at the hotel, the lady in the lobby gave me a room on the third floor.
Upon trying to enter the elevator, I observed that it was not functioning and had a sign on it.
I returned to the lady and she informed me that it is broken. According to
her, they sent two emails to Expedia stating that they had an issue with
the elevator, but I did not receive those emails.
I explained to her that I have issues with my back and was unable to carry the luggage up three levels, so I requested a different room on the first floor and I was even willing to pay extra or if there was anything or
anyone that could help me to carry the suitcases up, I was will to pay.
She responded to me in a very rude manner, stating that I had the option to leave the hotel if I didn’t want the room and she didn't have anyone to assist me with the suitcases. She turned away from me and acted as if I
didn't exist. I needed to take out items from the suitcase so that I could take items up the stairs.
Furthermore, she placed me on the 3rd floor facing an active contraction.
It seems that they are building an extension to the hotel in front of my room. The construction loud noise started continuously around 6 am my kids
woke up.
I left the hotel early in the morning because I wanted to be away from the
noise. It was just a dreadful experience.

No T.V at ALL and the radio did not work! The front desk LADY is very rude and inconvenienced by asking a question. With no T.V to watch, it was very loud at the bar and with the band playing. The pool was heated. I tried their food/drinks last year and it was terrible bar staff too. The band was good.

Convenient location in Ft. Myers, with dining on site. Unit was nice, although there were a few issues. Could tell place had been repaired quickly from hurricane. Some things just not repaired or built well. Cold night and heat didnt work. Light outside door flickered as if a short in wiring; we left it off.
Overall a nice enough place for the night and good location. Cleanliness was fine, and we enjoyed our stay for the night.

The room was gorgeous, clean well equipped w/2 eye electric stove microwave and small refrigerator. Staff very helpful. Close to beach.
Property still rebuilding. We were close to construction but really did not hear them. Internet was not functional and no cable so if you r tv people or on work vaca, you have to figure something out

Loved this place and it's funky beach vibe! This place checked all of the boxes and then some! We were searching for a place that was affordable, walking distance to the beach and had a pool. Our room was clean and comfy. Everyone was so friendly, my husband and I had such a wonderful night that we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back here in the future and stay longer!!

We love this property for The location. We also enjoyed having entertainment every night Their food was great, the stuff was very good and helpful!!!
The lighthouse is close in to downtown & the beach,
They have done a great job coming back after hurricane Ian And they're trying very hard to accommodate everyone.
It does get a little noisy with the music playing until 10:15 PM So if you're an early riser that makes it a little challenging. But the rooms do cut the noise really well. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening when we didn't want to go down to dance.
The parking has little to be desired but, Again, they are coming back from the hurricane and it will get better. We would not have hesitate to stay here again.

Nice location and close by the beach . Love the daily night bar party with live music and dancing.

The Lighthouse Resort Inn, on Ft. Myers Beach is must-stay for anyone who is a beach bunny/hippie, or anyone seeking beach nostalgia. Wonderful staff. GREAT open-air Tiki bar in the middle of the hotel with bands nightly. Rooms are clean and huge. This place is a hoot!
Please be patient, and remember that it is not yet two years since Hurricane Ian decimated Ft. Myer's Beach, so there is a tremendous amount of rebuilding going on.
If nothing else ... stop by the Tiki bar and have a beer!

There was roaches in the kitchen in the bedroom. The benches in the bedrooms had stains all over them. The sofa bed was nasty and disgusting and stained and ripped all down the side.

Room service not good, noisy and the room was overpriced.

The room had a weird smell and the hotel room needs a major update. I’m not quite sure why this hotel was rated a 9.2! This is deceiving.

We didn’t stay there because they didn’t tell us they do t have working elevators. My husband could not get to the third floor without an elevator.

We had a great stay in room 152, a little cottage in the back of the property. The room was large, clean, well appointed, with new, upgraded modern coastal decor. My mom enjoyed the rooms private outdoor courtyard area. The Tiki Bar was so much fun, the entertainment on Thursday nights is phenomenal, check her out if you can! overall a great stay and the property is trying hard to renovate fully after Hurricane Ian. We were impressed with how far they’ve come.
If you’re going between here and Margaritaville- this place is MUCH more fun!

Have been staying here for over 20 years and am so glad to see them back up and running after the hurricane. It’s one of the best spots on the beach!

Great place to lay you head and not over pay for a few hrs sleep. Never in the room.
