The room smelled very old and the bed lacked comfort.

Nice to have a kitchenette. Since double room was sold out we shared a single room and bed sagged a little. Otherwise a good little motel.

There was zero hot water for my shower in the morning and the tub ended up filling with gross water with floating particles from the clogged drain. It's decently priced for the area but I'm not sure I'll come back. Not the worst, but even the "continental breakfast" was subpar. Basically just oatmeal, granola bars and coffee. No toast or bagels or anything.

The breakfast bar is a joke. Breakfast cookies, yogurt and oranges. Plan on going out for breakfast after you eat at the breakfast bar!
The street near the hotel is noisy, but didn’t interfere with sleep.

The hotel is close to the freeway but the traffic noise wasn’t too bad. Bed has some age on it and was beginning to take on characteristics of a hammock. Maid service is every other day.

Efficient, fast and courteous front desk staff. Spacious room with very comfortable beds. Need to take the stairs up with luggage to the second floor as no elevator. Great for an overnight stay before heading home from Seatac. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

Fair for the price. It's a good option for overnight. It was clean, but it wasn’t extremely clean though. It is very noisy due to the highway. The breakfast is not actually a breakfast, just some snacks that you grab over reception.

Have stayed here before and this place doesn’t disappoint. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are newly renovated since our last stay. Comfy and clean.

i found that the heat was preset... and it was at about 60 degrees. i was cold all night. i wont stay here again. ill pay the extra money for heat.

More of a ? than a complaint. It was odd that there was a coffee maker & coffee but no cups. Went to make coffee at 430 am😕. Wish I had known to bring my own cup. I hope this was just an oversight of the housekeeping staff.

Great spot with lots of things close by like a walmart across the road. My room had some problems but was clean enough.

The room was well kept. A little bit noisy from the road. The price was very reasonable. And right beside an awesome buffet restaurant.

The room had a nice lay out. There was a dresser with two big drawers which were very convenient for my 5 night stay. Perfect sized room. The bed was very comfortable. The entry area has a big area for suitcases, bags and clothes hanging. There is a full sized ironing board and iron. Mini refrigerater and microwave worked great. The free wifi had no connection issues and was fast enough to stream online shows with no problem. The place was pretty quiet. Half way through my stay, there were occupants in the room above me. I could hear them when turning on their shower and sometimes when moving around, but no conversation. I slept well every night. The staff were helpful and accomodating. There was also a nice sized tv and cable tv, however, I did not use the tv, as I have shows I watch on my laptop on Amazon prime.

I've been here several times and I the front desk is courteous and very professional. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are a bunch of dining and shopping options. Finally, it's good for the budget conscious traveler.

This is a cheaper option for staying along I-5 in Mount Vernon. The room itself was a standard hotel room and the bed was comfortable. The guy that checked me in was friendly and welcoming.
The downsides were noise on 3 levels:
1. We could hear quite loudly the plumbing from the room next door.
2. Also next door, we could hear their conversation clearly and they weren't yelling or anything.
3. Yes, you hear highway noise.
The morning front desk person was just kind of there - not friendly, not mean. You have to ask for a frozen breakfast sandwich and she got it for me with no expression.
With all that said, I did get a good night's sleep and appreciated the breakfast options that were provided (yogurt, apple, oatmeal, coffee, frozen breakfast sandwich, packaged pastries).

Easy, quick check in. Quiet room, comfy bed. Late breakfast options included tasty packaged breakfast cookies & waffles, yogurt, fruit, & coffee.There are a few spots in the room that could use a touch up, but overall a nice place that I'd come back to.

Overall I recommend the Tulip Inn. The allowed an early check in and offered that I could get the continental breakfast items the night before. I left at 0430, before the office opened.
The bath tub was spacious and the hot water was lovely. I slept great.

Very nice motel. Clean and quiet. Easy parking right by room door. Other guests have dogs but still quiet. No traffic noise. Occasional train.

This is an older hotel so it shows some age, the bed was comfortable and two pillows each. There was a bathtub not just a shower, plenty of hot water. Loved the kitchette, two burners and pots/pans and some dishes. Good size mini fridge, small table and two chairs. Wifi was reliable. We stayed 3 nights, in the area to visit friend visiting from NZ.
