Good location, comfortable bed - ok for one night. But the shower was not totally clean. Breakfast is only coffee, two cereal options and bagels

Tammy was incredibly helpful and just wonderful to deal with. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It's a great location and very accessible.

The hotel is not a 5 star resort, but you get what you pay for. We just need a place to stay for one night and this did the trick. Rooms looked tidied up but everything was so old and outdated you just got the feeling it wasn’t actually clean/sanitary. TV might have been 720p I felt like we were watching TV on Michael Scott’s “new” plasma screen. Overall I’d stay in it again for those times you need a cheap one night stay. The beds were ok, the location felt safe, would need lots of renovations that I’m sure can’t be afforded with the rates they are charging.

most in room coffee is weak with paper cups. Not here real mugs with great coffee .Room was ready with everything we needed in an envelope with my name on in.

It was an amazing experience and I felt so comfortable and relaxed. The service was great and they felt like family. I will definitely stay there again when I travel back next time. Most comfortable place I've ever stayed m.

It was a good stay

Lock on door was broken. Very old and uncomfortable.

Facilities are showing their age. Door and front window did not feel overly secure. TV cable went out after 30 minutes and shower was difficult to operate. Based on the price not horrible value but I was hoping for at east a little more.

It was not bad, but it was pretty clear the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly between guests

We only stayed about five minutes in the room and checked out. The floor was dirty, there was a plugin by the bed that wasn't even secure to the wall. Was advertised as a suite and the room was anything but that. Wouldn't attempt to stay there again.

A bit run down Breakfast was very limited

Absolutely disgusting. Beds were filthy, covered in stains and hair, very obvious they didn’t wash sheets. Old people’s clothes under the bed. Water damage.

Coffee watery, towels very thin and rough, mattress too firm for me
Other than that, good value and location!

It is what it is. Older hotel but clean and comfortable. Good price.

Noticed a lot of dust balls, hair in corners and around bath room vanity maybe a little more time vacuuming also shower head needs to be replaced cannot be adjusted otherwise not real bad for the price and location

Really needs an overhaul. Rooms have peeling paint, broken tiles, cracked lampshades , worn carpet & only bare essentials in rooms. Outside of building needs paint & new asphalt in parking lot. This hotel has really gone downhill in the last few years. Best thing about it is comfortable beds & great location.

It was convenient for the price of $72 for a small room. The bathroom had so many cracks in the tile, moldy caulk behind the bathroom door, and every noise was so loud, including the tweakers that woke up at 4am. We went to get a decent night’s sleep because our apt is flooded. The room had stains on the carpet and chair. Every looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1950s. It was not great, but the best price.

It was very dirty!
Main entry door was hard to open and close
Blinds had a middle slat broken off

The staff is good, but the hotel is very dirty, with filth under the bed, too. Not worth the lower price.

The room accommodations met are needs. The doors need fixing, but they still locked.

It wasn’t fancy but it was comfortable and I got two excellent nights of sleep here. It was also very close to the University of Michigan campus and stadium which is why I chose it.

Location was good. Clean, and beds were comfy. Bigger TVs and newer furnishings would improve the experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic, but served the purpose on a football weekend.

I thought the windows in the room I was in let in a lot of light. Nice touch by housekeeping to do some Origami folds with towels and tissues.

I enjoy staying here, staff is very friendly

Staff are all very friendly and accommodating and the inn is VERY convenient to campus. Happens to be right next to trader joes which is an added bonus. Beds are very comfortable and it's quiet - have stayed there twice now. Main issue w the place is that it's run down - rooms smell musty and this particular room we were unable to adjust the temp for the water in the shower.

Andre at the front desk was wonderful! He gladly accommodated me when I asked to change my second floor room to ground floor because I use a cane.
I recommend the University Inn
