My stay was in Daphne Al for 2 nights. There was roaches in the bathroom, only one bath towel, a hand towel which was to be the mat in front of the tub/shower had holes in it and very worn, the two pillows on a queen bed was very uncomfortable and hard, there was constant noise - doors slamming, tv blaring, cell phones nonstop ringing, the stay was no sleep both nights. I doubt I will be returning.

Overall it was great. Friendly staff at the counter for check in and I had a pretty clean room. Breakfast was a little disappointing but, realistically, it was adequate for the room cost.

Stayed @ this location for a week on business assignment. It was clean, the hot water was amazing, the bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. The only few downsides were that the standard rooms do not have a frig in them, ironing board, or closet/wardrobe. Other than those 3 minor things, this hotel was nice. I would stay again & recommend. Was the best Micro I have stayed at thus far.

All covers and pillow cases were stained , the ac was very loud..the first day there was no housekeeper trash was all up the hall the hall needed to be vacuumed

I stayed here for three nights for a business trip. Pros: it’s very clean and the mattress was decent. The air conditioning was nice and cold. There is breakfast but it’s VERY basic. Cons: the parking lot is on a hill and very narrow spaces. The walls are not sound proofed well - I could hear the entire conversation my neighbors had each night. Even on the fourth floor someone walking around makes loud thumps in your room.
The part that really annoyed me about this stay was as soon as I got into my room I found that the toilet seat was only attached by one screw so it would slide around. Notified the front desk the next morning and the next evening. It was never fixed.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable! Everything in the bathroom was slippery and made us afraid of falling. The carpet felt damp. We didn’t expect anything fancy but did expect more than what we got.

The place is right.But there's no water cup. This is the only hotel that doesn't provide any water cup even a plastic cup.

There are few amenities at this motel: no refrigerator or coffee pot in the room. There was zero space at the bathroom sink for toiletries. The vending machines wouldn’t accept money. The breakfast consisted of dry cereal and very small packages of a sweet roll. Only powdered creamer for coffee. I’ve stayed at other Microtels with wonderful experiences but the private owners of this motel are very cheap cutting corners on customer comfort. Do not recommend.

The only tjinh missing in the room was a refrigerator and hand rails in tha bath tub,oh and the snacks in the machine on the 3nd floor were expired and i didn't get two bahs of chips so i was out $4.00 teyong to get them. Other then tht it was a good stay

Checking in/out was fast and easy. The staff were friendly and the lobby was clean. The rooms weren't quite as clean as I'd prefer it to be but it wasn't horrible (the bathroom needs to be swept/mopped better). The beds were comfortable but the pillows are your typical small, soft pillow that goes flat as soon as you lay on them. The breakfast doesn't have a ton of options but it tastes good and the pancakes cook quickly!

The area is easy to access and has shopping and eating all around. The hotel was in a quiet part of the area and clean and safe. The staff was helpful and nice at all times. The rooms were up to date, comfortable, and clean. Will stay with them again.

First thing I noticed was how disgusting the elevator was then arrived to the room and slipped on a slimy bathroom floor. Then the towels were stained and dirty. Tried to call the front desk, the disgusting phone didn’t work. I had to kill roaches before trying to sleep and noticed mold near the window the next morning. Also tried to use the hair dryer to dry my razor and it almost caught on fire before completely breaking. Best thing I can say is the staff was friendly.

The third floor stunk so bad from cigarette smoke that we had to hold our breath to get from the elevator to our room. Even then, we had to leave the bathroom exhaust fan on to limit the amount of hallway-stench leaking into our room as we slept. The walls were so thin that you could hear the people in the next rooms talking - NOT yelling, just conversations. The ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work. The candy machine had maybe 20 pieces of candy in the entire machine. The staff was friendly, but limited in what they could do about the smell. They no longer use "Do Not Disturb" signs, but instead require you to stop at the desk as you leave to request cleaning or to request that the room NOT be cleaned. Cheap price - so I guess you get what you pay for. Do NOT recommend.

They are being remodeled, so I try to keep an open mind. I needed a handy cap room, not available, it's cool. 2nd floor is fine but, my room, 202 is at the end of the hallway, could not get any farther away from the elevator. Christmas day the elevator was out of order, redoing the floor. I got no notification, I made it but I am not good with stairs. Alot of extra steps, I have # very bad knees. Breakfast bar was disappointing, but free is worth what I paid for it.
Hot water was warm at best. My room was clean and comfortable.
Christmas morning, I needed to sleep in, impossible because the people remodeling the place had a truck parked at the end of the building with music blasting so loud I heard it while in the shower, noway to sleep. But the worst part was no refrigerator, I had meds that need to be cold, had to get ice from first floor, good thing I had my cooler. I got a great rate, close to my daughter's house, really good people working there, just don't know why my room was at the end of the building, when I can barely walk?why the shower was warm at

Arrive with smoke alarm going off in my room. Microtel Replaced the battery. I stayed for two days but the key card only had one day access.had to go down stairs to front desk in order to access my room again No ice on 3rd floor vending area

My door did not lock from the inside, I was told the door was hard to open from the outside but was assured it locked from the inside. Luckily I had a portable door lock to use for safety because I stay out of town a lot. And it was the last room available. Hair dryer didn’t work, air conditioner was very old and rusty inside, room was very small but suitable for one person.Small breakfast area at check in desk. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a family with kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was very clean. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was a last resort.

They have remodeled 3rd and 4th floor rooms. They need to finish carpet in the halls but the remodeled rooms are really nice. Our room still needed the smoke detector attached to the ceiling but it was connected. I reported this to the manager. He was really great to work with. We couldn’t figure out how to open door ( pull up handle) or how to get the television to work (one remote turns tv off and on & volume. The other changes channels) But the manager and desk clerk took of us. The ice machine hadn’t been turned on on the 3rd floor yet but I went to the first floor to get ice. Breakfast had make your own pancakes which was fun to watch (I might be easily entertained). The desk clerk was nice and took care of our needs but I just felt as if I was an inconvenience to her. Just a word of warning- our GPS took us up and behind the motel and we had to back track. The motel said some other GPS have taken people down the road 5 miles out of the way. Just be aware GPS doesn’t always work well. We would stay here again. They were in the process of remodeling the rooms on the 2nd floor and all of the construction workers were pretty nice too.

Carpet in the hall was very worn and dirty. The bathroom foor tile was nasty. I went back to the office and complained and the clerk mived me to a roomvon the first floor, it was better but still not real clean. The clerk refunded my money and I found another hotel. Hotel in desparate need of renovating

Repairs were being made but TV was not programed, we had to figure that out. There was no one available that could come do that. There were broken sheet rock pieces under air unit and patches that had not been painted. Windows were very dirty. Carpet in upstairs corridor was filthy. Hopefully being replaced. Need hooks on back of door to hang clothes etc. Staff was very friendly.

This property is currently being renovated. Our room was finished, but the TV and phone had not been re-connected, so we were moved to another room. The hallways and elevators were trampled with construction dust & dirt, not awful, but not pristine by any stretch. The folks at the front desk were very honest up front, and very accommodating moving our room. We've always had good luck with Microtel, so we will definitely return here. Once the reno is finished, I'm sure all the spaces will be beautiful!

This hotel does not match the pictures at all. They are going through a remodel which was never mentioned or noted when booking and made for a very unpleasant and dirty stay. The room was very tiny and not clean at all. Between the stains, hair, musty smell and overall unsafe feeling I would not recommend staying here. If we had not already prepaid and been on the road all day and completely exhausted, we would not have stayed here.

Hair on the walls, an inch of dust on the freestanding wardrobe, small tv on top of wardrobe that was hard to see from second bed. No lamps, poor lighting. Carpet was damp and dirty. So disappointed because I’ve stayed at other Microtels that were quite nice. Wouldn’t stay there again!

Not secure, side door propped open, transient hotel next door. No maid service, cleaned one time in five days after requesting three times. Breakfast below minimal. If you care about your wellbeing and family, stay elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting …had a section of the carpeting in the room missing… Bad smell in the room… toilet wouldn’t flush properly it kept running and you’d have to flush it multiple times to get it to stop…. The walls were marked up and you could see where they had tried to touch paint various spots… Will never stay in a Microtel again

This place is filthy. Used to be a decent hotel. Not clean at all. In disrepair. Breakfast was coffee, a couple bagels, and old cereal. Food and hair on the bathroom floor. Only good thing to say is desk clerk was friendly.

Finding the driveway entrance is difficult. The area outside was littered with trash. The TV in the room didn't work; the cover for the light was standing up against the wall. I didn't investigate to see why that was broken. Humidity has rusted all the metal in the bath. Bottom sheet was covered in little pill balls and there was a big spot that looked like tape had stuck on it. No ice bucket or drinking glasses. Not recommended.

Although the staff was friendly, the property was not clean. The carpet was disgusting. Our room smelled thickly of mold/mildew. There were bugs in the clothing draws. Thankfully the bed sheets appeared to be clean. The shower also appeared clean, but the exhaust fan did not work so taking a shower with the door closed was not an option. Definitely will not ever being staying at this location again.

All around good stay. The room was just very wet the windows were not sealed so the room felt like outside and AC unit made it worse.
