Older hotel but has been maintained and updated.

No complaints here. Staff was friendly at check in/out, slept like a rock bed was comfy, blackout curtains did their job well. Affordable option for a quick day trip

Room (and its bathroom), pool and breakfast area very clean. Stay was nice and staff is great. Hotel breakfast was pretty good for free hotel breakfast. The only down side is the hotel is showing signs of wear- patch jobs on bathroom tile, marker on desk chair, scribbles on bathroom wall and water damage. It wasn’t over the top bad but I always notice that in hotels.

I like the thermostat to allow the fan to run constantly and it was not possible in my room #136, otherwise all was good.

Bathroom door had a hole punched in it they tried to cover (not well). Bathroom floor tiles are all lose and coming up, holes in walls that were the size of 50 cent pieces, drawer on dresser wouldn't stay close which was a struggle when it was dark in the room trying to move around. Bed frame made a ton of noise when you would move a little. Tons of glue on shower wall where something once was attached.

Excellent stay! Great front desk and breakfast service. Food for breakfast was great! Location is terrific as well. Highly recommend!

Ok. Elevators were down and had to climb 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast was slow and not very good.

Everything was as expected except for the pool. It was very dirty and the table/chairs around the pool were needing to be replaced.

The first room did not have working heat and the water was not very hot. I appreciated the closet space and coat hanging area but the fridge door was stuck shut due to it being sticky. There was a small moldy smell.

I know it was a New Year’s Eve stay but the check-in staff were less than enthusiastic upon our arrival. He did not give any details about breakfast. We had to ask. Room had only one cup for coffee maker. When we checked out there was no “thank you” by that staff person for staying at our hotel. He seemed bothered when I asked for a receipt. Again, I know it’s a holiday but we’ve had better service on previous stays.

Not a nice hotel - definitely run down and not taken very good care of. We stayed as a group and all of our rooms had sticky and gross carpets. Your shoes would stick to the hard floor after walking on them and make noise. Dining furniture was all worn down. Bathroom not very clean comparatively to over stays - harder to clean areas not cleaned at all such as corners and under shelves in bathrooms. Rooms are a lot smaller than most hotels we have stayed at, which is several a year most of which booked on hotels.com. Narrow entrance with another door way to the bedroom from the bath/hall area. Our individual experience, but took 10 minutes for us to just check-in with one person in front of us because the staff was super slow.

Everything was perfect. Our group spent hours in the lobby and had a great time. The only complaint is no ashtrays outside for smokers.

It was great! The tub was outdated compared to the rest of the look of the room. But still great!

Room smelled absolutely terrible. Like cat litter box. Staff gave us air freshener.... but only worked momentarily. Left bathroom door closed over night.... clearly it's the source of the smell. Staff was great.

I have only 2 issues with my stay. 1- When we got to the room, my husband went to the ac/heater unit and the front panel fell off. 2- my husband took a shower and there was only enough bath soap for one person. I had to use shampoo as bath soap. Other than that, the stay was nice.

Was a perfect spot for our extended weekend stay!

This hotel needs some TLC. The breakfast and comfort of the sheets were great. I loved that there was a fan and a permanent night light in the bathroom, not many hotels have those features. The faucets were nice and the water was very hot. But the carpet was gross (it was actually sticky), the sofa mattress was beyond disgusting, the elevator buttons were finicky to get to work, the bathroom looked as if someone had painted poorly over a bunch of mildew and wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The pool towels were so tiny, my children needed four to dry off. The fitness room didn’t have any weights, only cardio equipment. Our room had an odd smell to it. When I asked for bedding for the pull out sofa, the front desk handed everything to me to haul upstairs on my own without offering to send it up, or help me carry it. One of the beds was actually falling apart and we had to put it back together after our child tripped on part of it. We had a quick overnight here as we passed through town or we would have requested a different room altogether.

Pleasantly surprised with this up to date hotel! Close to dining and shopping. Great area.

I liked everything including the breakfast. I just noticed chips in the credenza’s Formica, and a tear in the vinyl flooring where it meets the carpet and where the carpet pulled loose from the steps in a stair way.

Great Place to stay. Right be everything you need. Stayed here for a game at Children’s Mercy Park, which is an easy ten minute walk away. Highly recommend.

The workers were all very nice and our room was clean. The only problem was the elevator. They have one elevator that is very slow. We instead decided to take the stairs but they just painted both staircases and the smell was horrible and gave me a headache. We would stay again if they weren’t painting.
