Outstanding customer service from the front desk, Zell at the cafe, all of the restaurants staff and management. Thank you all for acknowledging our wedding anniversary!

Terrible. Never going back.

Was a great stay we were only there for 1 night . But we had a wonderful stay we had a late dinner at the restaurant on the main floor and they were very polite and friendly . This morning we had Starbucks because the restaurant was busy the lady there was very friendly . Had a great trip the room was redone beautifully.

Water was disgusting, band aids, plastic and soiled shorts floating. Restaurant staff was horrible. Beds were so uncomfortable and no shower water pressure. Will never go again.

The door was tough to open mechanical wise, maintenance came up and made an adjustment and it was fine after. The room was beaten up pretty good. The toilet paper despenser broke the first use and the shower made a high pitched screech THE WHOLE TIME. The rest of the stay was ok. The room although dated was clean.

We had a fun time staying at the Lodge. Kids enjoyed the arcade and the pool. Was sad Jonny Rockets is no longer at this location.

The staff were super friendly and room was clean. Food at the tell tales tavern was good! Fun arcades. Two of the main water slides were closed due to lack of staff and they also ran out of towels for the water park due to a broken dryer. Beds not super comfortable. Overall it was a nice trip but wish we could’ve gone on all the slides they advertise.

Indoor waterpark closed during almost all of our stay due to electrical issues. Corporate does not understand families - the arcades are locked up by 10 - even the BAR closes before 10pm! So many bored kids and upset parents due to the waterpark closure and corporate doing virtually nothing to make it up to the guests. The staff was VERY NICE and it is NOT their fault- they are put in the awkward position of having to apologize for corporate’s misguided policies. They tried to make a movie night for the little kids. Room had mostly non-functional electrical outlets, warm fridge even at coolest setting.Uncomfortable beds. Overpriced everything. Their Corporate office should listen to the staff who know what the customers go through and improve this place before it too, like their Johnny Rockets, will need to be demolished.
They are reimbursing us for only one night and told us to o rain any further reimbursement from Expedia. I will be reaching out about this.

Water park was closed due to an investigation of a 5 year old almost drowning. This was kept from guests saying it was a transformer that was down. But the rest of the hotel was up and running including their arcade.

I didn't sleep much because the sofa bed has uneven surfaces. Has a bugs inside the room. I saw a lot of crackers and mc and cheese on the floor stairs from day 1 and until i leave still there from 1st floor to 3rd floor.

The hotel stay was fun and easy. We chose the hotel because it had a good price and the indoor waterpark was a fun activity after a long drive and the next leg of our trip. The facilities were fun and had a nice theme. It seems they are renovating some rooms and I don't think we had a new one, but it was still in a pretty good state. My complaint is that there was some debris (crumbs and a sealed breakfast pastry) under the beds and the pullout mattress was old, stained, and a little flimsy. When we entered the room everything was clean and tidy and I understand how the stuff under the bed might be missed when getting the room ready. Since they are a kid-friendly venue and offer a grab-and-go breakfast that guests bring back to their rooms, I think they should check under the bed a little better for trash.

Took my 4 year old and 6 year old. Both had a BLAST. Everything was kid friendly. The hotel was nice, I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever stayed at but it was clean and convenient for the water park. My only complaint is the “free breakfast” was only yogurt, fruit, and granola bars which was fine for the kids but I needed more. There are on site food options which again, work for the kids, but if we stayed another night I would have ventured off for a nearby restaurant or ordered food. We definitely will be back

The Water park was great for an 8 year old. The only downfall was that there was not nearly enough tubes for the lazy river. Splash pad area was great. The room was very dated and the beds were very uncomfertable. One of the bed frames was broken and the beds were so worn out you could feel every bar on the frame did not sleep well at all. Half of the games in the arcade said to check back soon and were not able to be played. I

This wasn’t our family’s first stay at the resort, but things seem to be in decline.
The Good: the waterpark is fine. A few slides (although one was always out of order while we were there), a nice long lazy river, snacks… it delivers what you came for.
The Bad: we had to wait a little over an hour after we checked in for our room to be ready, even though we checked in after 4pm. They don’t have the cleaning staff to support the number of rooms requiring turnover apparently. Nothing like starting your trip by sitting with all your luggage in the lobby with dozens of other angry parents and screaming kids for an hour.
Our room had two queen beds, and both seemed to have broken bedframes or mattresses. They sagged in a strange U shape so you felt like you were sleeping in a hammock. The shower didn’t have quite enough water pressure, so the water would occasionally just shut off completely, but when it WAS running air would leak through the diverter and make a terrible squealing sound. Both mornings we were there you could hear showers squealing as we walked down the hall.
The breakfast was pretty sad. Cartons of milk, a few shelves of granola bars, and thats about it. No warm food, no lines or staff, so just kind of mayhem.
All in all, it wasn’t TERRIBLE, but I can’t see us going back again.

Restaurant and bar closed at 9 pm & only 1 or 2 places to eat (restaurant and snack shack). Couldn’t get an adult beverage past 8 or 9 pm.
Room wasn’t cleaned- garbage on floor and melted ice/water left in ice bucket in room.
Room smelled gross and hallway where rooms were smelled awful too.
Gross pizza- order the garlic knots and chicken tenders.
Unsafe- not nearly enough lifeguards- about 1/3 or 1/4 the amount that they have a great wolf lodge. No attendants at top of any of the water slides where bucket dump section
Of the water park is located so ppl were pushing, colliding into each other at bottom, and going down head first.
Lots of rusty spots throughout indoor water park. My daughter scraped her knee on a rusty stair.
Only thing better than great wolf lodge was their lazy river. However, since there were not enough lifeguards- 1 for entire lazy river who could see maybe 1/3-1/4 of the river-it was unsafe and super overcrowded. Not nearly enough tubes and so much pushing and kicking. My daughter screamed, “mom, I don’t want to drown, people keep pushing my head underwater with their tubes”.
I cannot believe this place is allowed to operate this way. There’s no way they are in compliance with the regulations. If you have large kids who can handle a free for all and have had a tetanus shot recently, this place might be for you, but bring your own food, drinks, and vacuum along.
You get what you pay for and I’ll happily pay more to stay at the great wolf

The hotel and waterpark were clean. Some wear and tear in our room that should be taken care of. Beds were not terribly comfortable. Breakfast was good.

The rooms where nice. I didnt like how hot the water park was. And the floor was very slippery.

When we arrived to the hotel, our room was unavailable and we had to wait util 5:30pm (check in is at 4pm).
When we arrived in our room, the mattress cover was dirty. We stayed 3 nights and never obtained room service, despite the fact that we left the "please clean room service request" sign on our door. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.

This was a great mini vacation for my family and I. The place was comfy and the WaterPark was a lot of fun. One thing to note before going is that they do not accept cash on site. You have to use either credit / debit or get a prepaid card using cash at their card machine. Check in was a bit of an annoyance as our room wasn’t ready until 5:25 pm even though check in was at 4 pm.

I like that it is safe for the kids and very friendly.

One of the elevators weren’t working, so everybody had to function on one elevator therefore, you’re always waiting for the elevator to get to your floor or it’s too packed and you can’t get on that was the only downfall for me

We went with our 6 and 8 year old for 4 days and had a great time!!!! Great activities for the age group. Only complaints are the hallway smelled bad and the food in the resto was expensive and limited. Staff was awesome!

Good spot for a family vacation, the kids loved having access to the water park every day as well as little activities. Main restaurant was closed so we had to go into town every day, tavern had very few options, no kids menu. Room was spacious, unfortunately mattresses really need to be updated, we were sinking in the middle. We rented a room suited for 6 with the pullout, it was a complete wreck, the frame barely holding and the mattress in dire need of an upgrade as well.
Recommend to add a bunch of hooks in the washroom and fan to help dry, the clothesline is a good help but not large enough for multi day swimming.

Check in time supposed to be at 4 pm recieved the room only at 6pm after arguing with the representative and the room wasn't so clean. After went to ask for a blanket and a bedsheet for a sofa never received. The line for breakfast was too long.
The hotel and waterpark was super very crowded.

The great escape lodge in queensbury ny is a perfect get away for families with kids! It’s affordable and fun, rooms are clean, there’s so much to do onsite. Indoor water park is very well staffed with life guards and attendants, lots of space to sit, you can buy food at a little restaurant in the water park or bring in your own, there’s lockers for a fee.
In the lodge they do little parties in the evenings with a dj and music, really fun! And there are two arcades for kids to play in. I can’t stress how STRESS FREE and fun this place was. Parents can sit back and relax because there is so much for their kids to do.
Only critique is the change stalls and washrooms in the water park section were not that clean.

No sheets or blankets for the sofa bed, even after two requests we had to go back a third time to get them. Lack of washcloths, there were 6 of us, there were two of them. The sweeper had not been able to pass well under the beds and the sofa bed. We found food on the sofa bed mattress. We got the room at 4:30 p.m. instead of 4:00 p.m., a delay of 30 minutes so less time to have fun in the water games. We are quite disappointed with our experience.

Would of been an amazing trip had one employee not been horrible rude. Then all my kids got woke up at 8:00 a.m. because of a fire in the kitchen we had to go stand outside in the cold until it was done then when we were in the water park there was a power outage so we had to get out of the pool for over an hour and wait for them to get the power figured out

We came here for a winter break get away. We arrived shortly after check-in time (4pm) and we were told our room wasn’t ready, unsure of when it would be. We went to dinner, came back; our room wasn’t ready until almost 7pm. We finally got in, we ended up just hanging out and settled down from our long trip. We had ZERO hot water, for hours. Called the front desk and they sent maintenance, who literally did nothing but say sorry we’re at max capacity and can’t tell when it’ll be back on. Next day, we asked for some extra towels, facial tissues and plastic cups. Our room was never visited by housekeeping & we didn’t get our items until 9pm that night. I’m not sure what’s going on, but this was our worst stay yet. They really need to get it together, was not worth all that money I spent. My kids didn’t notice, they had a blast at the water park. But when you’re paying $350 a night, you expect better.

Indoor water park was great! Kids had so much fun and it was nice to be able to use the water park all day even on the days of check in (before check in) and check out (after check out). The room was nice. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Only complaints were the wall heater seemed to malfunction (only blasted hot air or had to be turned off…no warm air or setting a certain temperature), the microwave turntable didn’t turn, and the shower would rotate between warm and cool water uncontrollably. Breakfast was delicious. We’re not picky eaters so we were thrilled with the choices. Property is very accommodating to children and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay with our 5 children!
