Had a great stay in a very nice room in one of the authentic buildings at creek street. It was super convenient to have the airport transfer, callable from the airport phone. And great staff. Would definitely stay here again.

What a gem! The woman that picked us up from the airport was seemingly the only one on staff, but she went over the top to help us! Context: I am on a trip with my 4 year old daughter. We flew into Ketchikan for a couple days and we are taking the ferry back to the lower 48.
1. I called the shuttle while on the ferry from the airport as they suggested. The shuttle was there within 2 minutes of us unloading from the ferry. She was also the shuttle driver.
2. She made great conversation during the shuttle ride. Pointing out some great restaurants and local attractions around the area.
3. She upgraded our room, to give us a view, free of charge. (One of the upsides of visiting during the slow season)
4. I inquired if they had laundry facilities. They didn’t “technically”, but gave me the code for housekeeping washer and dryer. She showed me where the soap and dryer sheets were.
5. She showed us to our room, asked if we would like sheets for the fold out couch and went and got some.
I cannot recommend a stay here enough! I would give this place 6 stars if possible!

The Inn at Creek Street is the BEST location in Ketchikan. Walkable to everything "downtown" and near some amazing dining options. The creek itself is entertaining with wildlife all hours of the day. Something to note is there are separate buildings for the rooms. Depending on which building you are in, it may be a farther walk and in a sketchier place than others. As a solo female travel, I have previously loved staying in the New York Hotel as the entrance is secure and the walk to get there is off a main street. I did not feel as safe staying in the Star House. I had to go through two alleys and up a back set of stairs to get to my room. Not a big deal if you are with other people (or not a solo female traveler), but I will definitely be requesting a different room in the future.

This is a lovely inn on the bay, near the cruise ship pier. The inn is comprised of several historic buildings with different names. I stayed in the “New York Hotel” portion of the Inn at Creek Street. Niles, the manager-on-duty, picked me up from the airport ferry, gave a thorough description of the Inn and the history of Ketchikan.
My room faced the bay, with sail boats and a cruise ship. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the necessities (including a Keurig). It was a wonderful stay.

Had to cancel reservation. Our client could not do stairs. She was put in a different older building with no elevator. We wanted her in the newer building. When making reservations it did not state what rooms are in what building.

This is a unique property with a real feel for true Ketchikan.

Our check in was fast and courteous. Jessica at the front desk was delightful. The hotel was built in approximately 1919. An older building with a lot of charm. We loved the antique furniture and the old timey vibe. Several shops on the “Creek” are within easy walking distance. Most of Ketchikan is also an easy walk from the hotel. I highly recommend staying here. Will come back again.

Amazing staff!! Can not say enough about the hospitality. They take you to and from the airport, all good recommendations were amazing. We ended up staying two nights instead of one.

Staff was excellent. The shuttle to and from the hotel was great. No problems one check in although we were early. Room was very clean and had a small kitchenette. Property was in good condition and right downtown.

Historic building in a great location at the start of the heritage listed Creek Street. We stayed in the New York Hotel part overlooking the water. Room was not large but comfortable. Ate dinner at the cafe / restaurant down stairs which was busy and the food was good. Rained for the day we were there but this is normal for Ketchikan!

My friend and I were traveling together, so having two beds was our goal. The open loft “bedroom” and sofa bed meet our primary needs. It also allowed for fairly separate sleeping spaces. The negative was that getting up and down from the loft was an extremely narrow spiral staircase!! This is not a good feature for children or anyone without good mobility and balance!! We worried that the location would be noisy, but were pleasantly surprised that it was quiet, with the white noise of the creek. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, including an unexpected ride to a trailhead when we weren’t sure if we had time for the hike!

This is truly a charming property. It's an older hotel that has been remodeled with care. The rooms are comfortable. The location is amazing. We spent time hanging out on the back deck that's on the creek watching the eagles swoop and a seal looking for dinner.

Excellent stay, I loved the views through the big windows, and the spaciousness and very thoughtful and beautiful design of the room, everything that I needed for both work and exploring Ketchikan. Thank you so much, I am looking forward to staying here again next time.
