Loved this property!

Was really pretty on the lake very convenient to all the restaurants and shops

We had a great time at the Wolfeboro Inn! The staff was wonderful and the room was very comfortable. We definitely are planning a return visit in the near future.

A nice, quiet inn in a convenient area. Dated and in need of upkeep. Dining and breakfast options limited.

The hotel is older but kept clean and the staff are wonderful The bar is cozy and fun, the location is great. We would return.

So where do I start… first of all whatever card you use to book with is used to pay for the room before you arrive and it was a big hassle to split the room price with a family member since we were staying a couple of nights. Then there is no housekeeping during your stay so it was a hassle to get more towels or have the garbage changed. The room I stayed it was too hot and the air conditioning didn’t work well and I tried to turn the heat off but that didn’t work too. They offer breakfast in the lower tavern had bagels on a plate with no tongs and people were picking them if with there fingers and nothing was covered. They are in need of an upgrade.

In town for one night. The first impression from outside, not at all what the photos online look like. Needs some maintenance on the building asthetically. But. Still nice. When I checked in they put us in room 103 just behind the fireplace in the lobby. The fireplace wasn’t on. However the room was so hot. Even with the air on. I went to the front desk before we left for dinner and let them know. Not to change rooms but to inform and in hopes they could turn the heat off somehow. It was on off and still so hot. They gave us a different room upstairs and bigger which was nice. And air. One thing they need to improve on is housekeeping. Dusty heat registers in the bathrooms and hair on the beds. They should add mirrors to each room too. They charge an extra $50 hold on your card and it is released when you checkout. However I checked out two hours ago and it has yet to return to my bank so who knows yet. An additional $34 seasonal fee. Although it is off peak after Columbus Day! That’s kind of irritating. I found out that the room was hot in 103 because the boiler is below it. Maybe don’t use that as a room. The breakfast is more of a snack bar. Bagels, yogurt, coffee. I don’t know. I wasn’t overly impressed. But it was the cheapest in the area for one night.

This place was beautiful inside and out. The staff were all amazing.

The staff was very knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and friendly, and the lakeside site was very nice. However, the property was old, worn and in need of a total renovation.

Facility was outdated, poor water pressure and bathrooms needed to be updated. Place needed a complete refresh and update.

The Wolfeboro Inn was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay, friendly staff, clean, comfortable and peaceful.

The location is wonderful and the front desk staff were very nice. However, those are the only good things about the property. The condition of the guest toom and common areas is very poor. Numerous stains on the carpet and ceiling. Obvious “fixes” or touch ups in the bathtub and ceiling. The towels were old and course. I would not return unless a major renovation was completed

Balcony needed maintenance. Slider screen ripped and wouldn’t open.

Property aged, but clean. Beautiful location. Reception OK. AM staff could be more hospitable. Disappointed that tavern was closed and continental breakfast very limited. Stale bagels and ran out of yogurt.

The staff was very nice & helpful. Bad reviews seemed to exaggerate the negative. We thought it was pretty good, little outdated but it was clean, excellent location & friendly helpful staff.

Needs cleaning and updating. Short staffed--but isn't that the case everywhere!!

I've stayed at the Inn several times now and there is always some issue. For example - the room is too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, or someone was smoking in the adjacent room, and it came into my room through the bathroom vent. This time there was very low water pressure in the shower. I literally had to stand underneath the shower head and let the water fall on me. Whenever I notify the staff, they say sorry, but nothing ever improves at the Inn. It's time to stay somewhere else.

I didn’t get a chance to walk around the property so I’m not eating those I am a bit irritated by the resort fee that was charged to my card why not put that in to the overall cost?!

The mattress in our room was so old, you felt like you were rolling out of bed all night. Room was musty and stale. There were 2 patched holes in the bath tub and the bathroom fan was clogged with dust. No one came in to straighten our room and give us fresh towels. When we asked for another room we were told there were no other king rooms available and the attendant said she didn’t recall any newer mattresses being installed. Though our meal in the Tavern for supper was good, the service was poor. The waiter never came over to ask how our meal was, and he hardly spoke English and it was hard to communicate our order to him. Was sat for at least 10 minutes waiting for him to come and give us the check…he was too busy standing at the bar watching the soccer game chewing his fingernails….the Tavern was Not busy. The attendant at the front desk was not very personable and barely looked up at us as we checked out and never asked how our stay was. For $367 a night, it should have been perfect. There were several maintenance issues throughout the property. Very, very disappointed. I will never rebook or recommend this hotel.

Tavern food was delicious! Bathroom shower leaked and was outdated, needed serious improvements. Outdoor area was very scenic and well landscaped.

The property is dated, the staff at the Inn and Tavern phenomenal! Surroundings, lake and village, absolutely beautiful. I recommend this property.

The inn is nice though I am not sure why there is a resort fee. The “beach” is a small area of sand. There is no pool or gym . The breakfast was minimal and would be helpful to include oatmeal packets and fresh fruit. The service was good and the front desk staff were accommodating.

Great servive at the front desk and as well as the bar. Would definately return if in the area.

Love this quaint hotel! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Only recommendation is to have more options at the continental breakfast.
