I have been babysitting Nicaragua many times and I like to choose this hotel because she’s nice area. The food is good and they are very flexible with thaw check in check out.

Hotel Contempo left a bad taste in my mouth from the beginning. They told me that my room is unavailable because they are over booked. So, they tried to send me to Holiday inn for their error. I booked this hotel room 6 months in advance and paid for. Also, I had family members staying at the same hotel. We booked 3 rooms in total. I denied there offer because I explain that this wasn’t my fault and they still were pushy on sending me to Holiday Inn that was far away from my event I was attending.

Overall, it was better than expected. Reception was above standard! Staff needs a few more bi-lingual employees. Not a tourist spot yet but getting there. As a non-spanish person, I would stay again due tot the people that served me

Things I liked: it has a restaurant. Free breakfast. Nice bar. Big room. Things I didn’t like: upon checking in I was given a standard room, that reeked of mildew. I was due for a VIP upgrade (if available) so I went to front desk to inquire right away. It was my honeymoon & my view was of a customers car in parking lot. (Room 2) they offered me room 21 with nice view but near the party venues. I didn’t mind. But the room reeked of Ammonia! But that didn’t equate clean. I wasn’t sure when the last time this room was rented out but there’s a dog poop in the shag rug in the entry room. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was dimly lit but ok. But the toilet room smelled like an outhouse. Thru do have hot water :) but shower head has about 12 out of 50 holes giving water. Also I awoke to a live scorpion on the tile floor. That was exciting. As we learned they hunt at night & May be seen resting on cool tile in the morning. I couldn’t sleep well after that thinking the nest was in the room. Overall ok stay. The free upgrade made it worth it. And the food is good. I’ll try some place else next time.

Wonderful staff, outstanding, world-class food and great overall value!! Good location and we felt very safe. I would only recommend that the hotel provide a small fridge (at least in the Junior Suite) and extra hangers. There was a $10 charge for the entire 13 day stay for the fridge and one, single hanger for clothes. They were very responsive in providing an assortment of hangers, plastic, wood and wire. Would definitely stay there again!

Seems to me that years ago this place would have been great. The whole reason I booked here was for my bad back and it's hard to find a hot tub / jacuzzi anywhere in Managua. Neither the one in the room or the one outside worked. The one outside was completely empty and said to be down for maintenance

I was very excited when I booked this hotel and saw how gorgeous it looked, but looks can be deceiving. I paid 981 USD for this reservation, which was not worth it. I'm a dog owner of a German shepherd mixed, and I do not discriminate against animals. But I couldn't help but notice the giant turds left by a dog owner and his pet steps away from my door that were never cleaned neither by the staff nor the pet owner. My wife and I had to walk around it for the last four days of our stay. It shows how much attention they pay to detail and how clean this hotel really is. Did not have a working A/C; you would expect for the prices of these rooms that you would at least have that. The most significant warning is if you stay here on a weekend night for a business trip or work. They rent this location for private events. So do not expect to get any sleep at all. My room was right above the party rooms, and sleeping with all the music and commotion was impossible. But I also have to point out that they succeeded and met my expectations. The waiter/server that works in the morning is a lovely individual. He is very attentive to the guest and to the orders. He has fantastic customer service and excellent communication skills and is delightful to talk to.

Contempo is a lovely, well maintained hotel with a friendly helpful staff there is a fine restaurant on site and great spaces. The downside is that it’s not in a convenient location and you need transportation to get anywhere.

I can't complain about anything with this property! From the reception to the bar to the restaurant, everyone was so kind and so hospitable! Thank you Orlando, Brenda, Mónica, Christian and the rest of the staff there for making my stay such a delight! I definitely recommend this hotel! Plaza once is walking distance which is a plaza with stores and restaurants, very safe area, guards staying around the parking lots. I can't complain about one thing! The pool is gorgeous and the view from the gym!

I had a great experience. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and made me feel welcomed. The breakfast was great and the sea bass with citrus that I had for dinner was delicious. I would recommend staying at this hotel

Had an absolutely amazing time at the hotel. I slept so well. The staff is amazing. Ferrar service. The only thing I didn’t like is the selection of tv channels but oh well, I did not go there to watch tv. Beautiful hotel! Highly recommended

Its still a very nice hotel but Ive had better stays. They couldnt find my reservation, there was an animal on the roof making noises so I had to change rooms and the lobby is a ghost hall completely dark through the night. Scary to walk out to at 400am

Roaches were noticed outside the rooms. I think they had just fumigated the halls, so some dead or dying were noticed. The rooms were clean but were not sound proof exactly as you could here everything from the inside. The lobby had no AC or was turn off and it was hot. The staff was friendly and helpful.
