Place was quiet, 5 minute walk to the beach and daily breakfast was great, they have a variety of options to eat.

Love the location.
We love to stay 3 days prior to moving over to our resort and do Flora Farms, Acre and Art Walk festivities.
Great breakfast to start the day.
Cynthia’s across the street is the best for take out lunch which we ate by the pool.
Then for dinner and entertainment too.
Hotel staff was very courteous and friendly.
La Forchetta just down the street was also a great find.

This is my 3rd or 4th stay here. It’s always been clean, safe and a good value. That’s all I require. I’ll be back.

Staff was friendly however housekeeping did not mop or vacuum the room each day. The ac in the room was extremely noisy & the wallpaper was peeling near the shower which appeared moldy & smelled mildewy. We purchased slippers to walk around the hotel room in because we weren't comfortable walking barefoot. The hotel casts a shadow over most of the pool so if you're looking for sun we suggest the short stroll down to the beach. Breakfast is ok, on the first day the scrambled eggs tasted strange but they were fine the remainder of our stay. The taco place (Lateral) & pizza place (La Osteria) around the corner were excellent and the adjacent coffee shop (Abreojos), bakery (Nata Renata), and ice cream shop (La Dolce Villa across the street) were excellent as well. It was nice to have so much within walking distance and we practically had the beach to ourselves. We did notice that a lot of the other restaurants within walking distance weren't consistent with their hours & there were a couple we wanted to try but weren't open despite their posted hours & days.

We enjoyed our stay here because of friendly staff, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, and peace and quiet. Beach walking is across the street. Busses and Ubers are easy.

Originally booked two nights at the Hyatt Place because our "real resort" wasn't available for the full duration of our stay. After the first night, we canceled our reservation at the resort and extended our stay at the Hyatt. Loved the proximity to the public playground next door for the kids and the large grocery store (La Comer/La Mega). I travel to Cabo a couple times per year and this will be our "real hotel" from now on.

I did not like the room provided as it was adjacent to the gym and it was dark and felt as though we were in the basement. We paid $155.00 per night and expected a better room.

A decent hotel, moderately priced if you aren’t into all inclusive style of lodging. It’s in a perfectly situated location, safe, walkable, easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, groceries and the beach. It’s also only a few mins from Palmilla Beach, a quick 30min drive to Cabo San Lucas, 10mins ride to downtown San Jose Del Cabo main square & less than 20mins to the airport. Breakfast option is basic but it’s a great way to get started in the day, pool is decent and the room size is spacious enough for our family of 4. Clean but still found a few missed spots and had mosquitoes in our room. Staff is friendly aside from the first front desk person who assured us we could upgrade but later told us we couldn’t. Also, we were waiting to check in for a couple of hours which was fine but I saw they were checking in other folks who came after us. I wasn’t even approached even if we were right in front of them with two littles in tow. I expected a little bit more better service given that it’s a Hyatt. Nonetheless, our stay was overall, okay.

Over all a good place to stay, the only drawback was the pool. Always in the shade and very shallow. Not good for swimming.

We are staying during Hurricane Norma. The staff has done an excellent job. More guests than normal eating in the evening. The staff worked very hard to keep a bigger than normal crowd happy. We stay at this hotel frequently when we fly in. Excellent property.

Electrical outage happened several times in a day. The temperature in the lobby is hot. No restaurant in the hotel, just small bar with poor food menu

Excellent stay! 4 day stay.
Check in was easy and efficient. Lea the concierge Wa very helpful and informative! I booked two excursions and both tours were easily explained pickup/dropoff easy and safe. I was on a solo trip, not once did I feel uncomfortable unsafe or scared. There’s shopping and food options around the corner. The beach is across the street and was not busy at all!! I almost had it to myself every morning. Breakfast was more than expected!! Several choices from hot foods, yogurt and cold cereal available. Something for everyone. Dining area very clean and outdoor eating is available. I was welcomed by my last name with the front desk which made it feel personal and appreciated. Room was big and all amenities provided. Comfortable bed. Clean sitting area. The rooms were quiet as was the outside Definitely will stay here again.

My wife and I do not eat pork unfortunately the eggs that were prepared for breakfast buffet had pork in them the kitchen was willing to make eggs for us with no pork which they did and we were truly grateful.
