Hotel was great value but the check in process was terrible, we arrived at 8.20 pm and there was a sign at reception saying ‘gone to lunch, back at 8.45’ we didn’t get checked in until after 9. The manager said she wasn’t able to access the check in systems and the girl working, who is obviously entitled to lunch was entirely unapologetic and disinterested. This is a staffing issue and should have been an easy fix but instead there was a whole line of people waiting to check in with no apology or sympathy. Hotel itself was fine and very good considering the price.

Staff person at check in was great. Other interactions with (other) staff members once I was a guest weren't as helpful. The place smells like cigarettes wherever you go, which is to be expected. The room was non-smoking and definitely was much better but I could still smell smoke (perhaps from the vent/fan?) so if you're sensitive to that like I am, this might not be a great option. Nice selection of tv channels, more than I would have expected in such hotel.

We have stayed here 3 times. The rooms could use a little updating, but the bed were clean and comfy. The bathroom was nice with a walk in shower. First and foremost they have excellent customer service.

It was no where mentioned that there are smoking and non smoking rooms. The room reeked of smoke smell and it was horrible to stay for the whole night. They did sprayed the carpet to ease the smell, but that faded out in a couple of hours and the smell continued the whole night.

The rooms are cheap and good for the price. But the lobby, elevator, and other places have a thick smell of smoke. The room however did not not smell of smoke and was pretty comfortable. Overall ended good value for money since we spend most of time outside and came back to sleep and take showers. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds. I would not suggest if you have kids.

Passing through Pahrump, this was one of the only options. Super basic room - feels like a motel. It was clean but super basic. Very noisy and basically no amenities.

In all fairness, the town of Pahrump at this point, could not support a nice above average hotel. So….we stayed here because the person we were there to celebrate an 80th birthday with was staying there. Not a fan of smelly casinos either which is what subsidizes the hotel. So for $100 per night, what can you expect??

I spent one night at the Pahrump Nugget while visiting Death Valley. The best thing about it was a very good price. It was otherwise adequate. The room was OK, clean and comfortable. But, being a casino, there is a lot of smoke in the building, and you can't check in or get to your room without inhaling more than your fair share of smoke. That was a big downer for me. Location-wise, it's about 60 miles from Death Valley, not horrible for the region's standards, and the road back to the park is lovely. Pahrump is not a particularly pleasant place (a spread-out mish-mash of homes and businesses with little character), but it has the necessary amenities.

The hotel was comfortable and has easy access to multiple fast foods nearby! The only concern we had is the smell of cigarettes everywhere even in the non-smoking areas like the elevators and some hallways. All in all, the stay was fitting for the price. The hotel itself is just very outdated but nonetheless their beddings are super comfortable!!!

Decent hotel at a reasonable cost and only one hour from Death Valley. Nothing exciting but it was clean and in okay shape. Rooms were non-smoking which was great since the Casino was not.

Wonderful value! Room access quick and easy near entry. Pleasant and helpful staff, room and bath clean and finished,with all in perfect working order. Large bath with lots of counter space, large walk-in shower, hair dryer and nice towels. Room had Keurig, bottled water and frig. Beds were a bit firmer than I'd prefer but that"s a matter of personal preference, and had an extra pillow. Ironing board/iron there too. Short walk from hotel entry to either of 3 eateries in casino or bar area.

I had to wait an hour after check in to check in. The pool advertised is at the RV resort, not in walking distance. But the room was clean and comfortable.

This was the least expensive hotel I have stayed at in years. Did not expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. Checkin was easy. The room was spotless. Bathroom was clean and updated. It was not fancy and did not have a microwave. The reason I rate it so highly is simply because it was a nice room at a great price.

On 2/17, we were kept awake until 3am by a large family on our floor screaming at each other multiple times and running up and down the hallway. The walls are thin as it is, but this was over the top. I’m not sure if security showed up at all, but they certainly didn’t arrive soon enough.

I stayed here as I was visiting WonderHussy in Tecopa and there are no hotels there. I would SERIOUSLY consider staying here on my next trip to Vegas as it's only an hour's drive away. There are NO charges to park very small resort fee and tons of slot machines that aren't too crowded. The rooms are very reasonable and extremely clean. They are extremely nice at the front desk and at the players club and the cashier. This is how Vegas used to be and how I wish it still was AFFORDABLE !!!

We was from out of state for a family emergency. We enjoyed the staff who were friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and was welcomed. If we ever go back there, I would stay there.

We stayed at the hotel. The room was dated but clean. The card activated door locks didn't work well in room 312. It would take many times of inserting the card to get the door to unlock. Had to have the room cards redone several times but didn't help much. We ate at the restaurants the food and service were great. Overall a good experience

The only issue we had was the door locks and key cards not working. We kept having to go to the check-in desk to get the key cards replaced and they didn't always work. Other than that, the stay was a good one that could be repeated.

Needed to ask for a pillow over the phone direct to the operator no front desk or customer service. Pool five mile away! Noisy ice machine, door slamming. Room clean bit stairs smelled bad.
