HOPELESS APARTMENT NO SERVICE, NO LIFT , AT THE TIME OF BOOKING SHOWS 25 SQ MTR ROOM SIZE BUT IT IS 15 SQ MTR , PHOTO SHOWS AT THE OF BOOKING IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT VERY SMALL ROOM . STAY 3 NIGHTS BUT NO SERVICE GIVEN . THEY CHEAT WITH US BED IS SO SMALL THAT THINK HOW TO SLEEP . ROOM IS SO SMALL THAT NO SPACE FOR A SINGLE LUGGAGE. I NEVER RECOMAND ANY ONE TO BOOK THIS APARTMENT

It is a nice and clean place. However, there is no lift and we had to carry our suitcases up for four flights of stairs... The surroundings are good, it's super close to the castle and a 20 min walk into the city centre.

Property is very new (or newly renovated) and had all of the amenities.

There is no elevator in the building, and our room is in the 5th floor, they should really mention this at the description. As we are traveling internationally with hiking plans, we had huge luggages, would avoid moving 20k for 5 floors. The check in process is rather stressed: very late check in time (4pm), the address plate does not match the info hotel sent you. We had to drag luggage walking around try to find 501 and it was on 300thing’s building in heavy rains and the worse part was when you text them at the moment and try to figure out all these mess, they play dead and disappear.....And no dryer, so if you are staying only for a day on a raining day, then it’s impossible to do laundry because it won’t dry...but if you are staying more then three days, yes maybe...there are tram 12,17 and 18 just one minute walking, and national theater is 8 minutes walking, both are good things about the hotel. Radiosonde blue is right in front of the hotel and Flybussen would take you there directly without problem, they should made that clear on their description so people would have a better idea about the location. The property was clean which is good.

Clean and good location. Good value. Ground level but windows were all covered in film so couldn’t see out. As well someone else had troubles navigating the building at 1 am as there is no service desk. They pounded on our door and it was a bit unsettling. Would have been nice to have a phone in the room that would connect to a 24 hour service line

The locations of the apartments are great. They have all the acommodations needed. The apartment was cold when arriving other than that it was a good experience. I contacted the service desk thursday regarding late check-in possibilities and they promised that if I send an e-mail they would reply within a day. I had to recontact them monday and then they could help me by phone. The details regarding check in was in finnish which we did not request nor speak. Luckily the code system for the apartments are simple enough to understand.

Once you booked the hotel, you will receive the messege and text from the hotel side. They will send warm welcome and most important information to guide you how to check-in. Rooms are nice and clean, I recommend it .

Positives: HUGE apartment which was light and airy and luggage storage offered Negatives: No reception on site and office not 24 hours - turned up too early to drop bags as no one has mentioned opening hours in email correspondence Limited hot water - run on a tank so on first night we ran out after 15 min shower and isn't have hot water again for several hours! Small corridor leading to apartment smelt of stale cigarettes and the main staircase was dingey and even had a few bits of rubbish Fixtures and fittings in flat all very poor quality - bed felt like a camp bed and sunk in middle, shower head very small and had a leak, towels small and very thin etc Poorly Maintained - blind broken floorboard damaged and some dust and a few hairs in bathroom when we arrived We stayed on the fifth floor and there was no lift If you want to check in early (2 hours) they charge the equivalent of £25-30!! Most hotels in Oslo offer 3pm check in not 4pm and will check you in early if they can for no extra charge

Conveniently located apartment in Oslo, which was spacious and clean. The kitchen had basic utensils, but no seasoning/coffee/tea available. Great place for the price.

Great location in central Oslo, minutes walk from Theatre Station, Karl Johans Gate and Royal Palace. Clean, minimal, kitchen moderately appointed. Safe and secure building. Reasonable for the money. Pictures of the apartment we thought we rented, were not what we were offered upon arrival. The bedroom had four steps up to the bed, in which the mattress laid on the floor in a low ceiling loft style room; no railings, somewhat dangerous if you get up during the night. Upon request, we were moved to a room with an actual bed and bedroom. This suited our needs much better.

The location is good, close to the royal palace. The apartment is good, clean and have a kitchen. it is a good place to stay in oslo.

The location is excellent! The quality is the property is pretty good.

Easy check in with door code emailed just beforehand. Good location for sites, eating and shopping. The room was clean but the floor a bit sticky. As it was an apartment hotel, with a nearby office that wasnt open until 2pm on a Saturday, I wasnt able to leave my bag and do site seeing in time for check out. But overall, good option if you want a fully equipped apartment in good location.

Bed linen was clean and the duvet was snuggly.The apartment was nice and secure. Not so good was 4th floor with luggage but no elevator; there was a spring in each of the sofa seats which had gone, so a little uncomfortable. There was one very flat pillow for each bed. That suited me but my daughter likes a full pillow so a spare would have been good. The shower trap was loose and so moved when you were in the shower. The bathroom was too small for the washing machine with just a narrow gap between it and the sink.

Great city location, near subway, near harbour, near restaurants & bars but quiet & near Royal Palace. Will stay here again on my return to Oslo.

great location and had all the essentials you need!

We booked this stay months ago and had an almost impossible time contacting the manager. After sending 3 emails with no response, we contacted VRBO customer service who also was unable to initially contact the manager. A day later we finally received a very brief email with limited check in instructions. These included a phone number to call and an office address to contact once we were in country for further instructions. We were unable to get phone contact in spite of 4 phone calls 2 of which were by a Norweigan who spoke excellent English. After 3 more emails, we receive instructions to get our key from a 7-11...yes a 7-11 if we were going to be after 4PM which we were. We got the key from the 7-11 and after a very difficult time found the apartment which had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Although it was now 6PM we went to the office address and banged on the door. A taxi driver was going to call the police on us but fortunately a young Polish lady answered and although she was off work took us to a clean apartment which was larger than the one we rented. If she had not been there we would have been totally out of luck. She is the only good thing about this company. Ok we are finally in the larger apartment but it was only marginally better. I would give it a 1 star rating out of 5. There were numerous problems including a shower that had no lip and consequently flooded the entire bathroom floor when we took the shortest shower, the limited art decoration looked like it was salvaged from someones trash with scraped frames and soiled matting, the walls were damaged and in need of painting, the balcony was dirty, the blackout curtains did not keep out the light...it is light in Norway until midnight and then the sun comes out again at 4 AM, it was noisy from a bar on the street, the baseboards were dirty, it was hot with no fans, there was no icemaker or ice trays for the refrigerator, in general all the furniture appeared to be more than 10 years old, I could go on but you should get the idea that you do not want to stay in the apartments managed by this company.

I was hoping to book/stay further nights. But when I handed back the keys a few hours later I was being chased for the keys. Totally unprofessional

It was very comfortable lovely location & very clean & easy to keep clean & for me the walking to & from the Abode was just what I needed Health wise & in no way am I complaining it was truly excellent with all Mod Cons TV above Bed Fridge Microwave Cooker it was truly Excellent, only nuisance was couldn't manage to open top Windows behind Curtains but maybe I didn't get the Locks (?) lol O:-)

Reserved a superior room, but was given a standard. Wasn’t told at check in, and only found out after enquring. Service was brilliant, staff offered a refund. Overall ok. Good location.

Forenom Apartments location at Sven Bruns Gate is great. The interiors was fitted out very nicely and has thought about the end user. Pro's The kitchen facilities was good as we did cook during our stay (fresh fish!!) The water pressure in the shower was great! Tram stop is under 3 minutes walk away. Within 5 minutes walk, you're within reach of 3 convenience stores Quite a number of restaurants within 5 minutes walk The Cons The mattress was a little too soft for our liking. The room we were at was on the 5th floor within 5 floor block apartment. Normally great, but there was no lift available. Not sure if this is a Norwegian thing? Generally There are two restaurants downstairs which open till late. If you're looking for an early night, this may not be the best place to go to. If you're looking for a good night out, definitely a good place to be.

The room was fine. Climbing the hill then the stairs was a disadvantage. The location was excellent.

Very nice apartment close to everything. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants and places of interest. The apartment was very clean and everything you could need was there. It was very safe and in a nice area. We were a little disappointed that it was on the 4th floor with no elevator. But Would definitely recommend.

Furnishings are very basic. Wardrobes are falling apart. Wired chairs need cushion to sit on. Blinds do not cover the windows completely and do not block out sunlight very much.

I travel to Oslo frequently for business and this is my preferred home away from home. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and functional. It is located in central Oslo and right by the National Theater train station. The apartment has a washing machine (no drier but there is a clothes drying rack) and grocery stores are near by. The apartment has everything a person needs for an extended stay. I have recommended it to friends and co-workers time and again.
