Absolutely amazing! Loved the space of the room and especially enjoyed having windows. The ambiance was great and the bathroom was like a spa. Just be prepared to pay to park even if you self park. They did provide some transportation downtown to help with excursions if interested. Overall amazing stay

I was disappointed in my room. For the amount of money spent for one night, I was expecting to be wowed. It was just like any other hotel room to me. Not to mention, i was woken up by someone's yappy little dog barking in the room next to mine at 0630am. If i wanted to be woken up by barking dogs, I would've stayed home. Also, I thought it was ridiculous that I had to pay $20 to park my car in the parking lot across the street. For the price of the room, parking should have been included. And I had to park my own car, it wasn'teven valet parking. I will not stay at the Jefferson again.

What a beautiful, historic, and first-class stay at the Jefferson, a true American landmark and Virginia icon. Everything was awesome from the customer service to the comfort of the rooms. 5-stars indeed.

Historic hotel but TJs restaraunt very under staffed, waited 30min for drinks. Very, very crowded with events and visitors not staying at the hotel but looking at decorations.

The Jefferson is stunning. It was decorated to the hilt. It is a beautiful property. My only complaint is that due to its splendor and popularity, as guests we couldn't access much, eg bar was too criwded, no dinner reservations, no high tea reservations, etc.

Christmas decorations were really over the top. Staff was great. Enjoyed the history of the hotel. We thought that guests should be given some priority on reservations for tea. Well done, Jefferson! We will be back.

We stay at the Jefferson often, and it never disappoints! We relax as soon as we check in! Some staff that make our stay wonderful and make us feel at home: William at the concierge desk; Bakar the bellman; and Ryanna at Lemaire! The neighborhood is great, and many restaurants just blocks away.

Good until the morning we left: at 7 am, hotel staff were in the adjoining suite talking loudly for 45 minutes about a prospective wedding room that could attach to the room we were in. Quite rude and inconsiderate at 7 am; not sure why the long chat needed to take place right next to the wall where we were sleeping. Also: shower was pretty, but design flaw allowed water to leak all over marble floor, making floor quite slippery. Nice hotel, but not worth the extra money

This was my second stay at the Jefferson and I’ll be coming back. Everything is always wonderful. The staff could not be better and I highly recommend the restaurant, Lemaire, for breakfast lunch and dinner.

We were given a weird room on the first floor. It had all these mirrors. We heard people speaking through the mirrors. We asked to be moved. There was only one room left, on the fifth floor, and fortunately we were moved there. Much better room. We were told there was turn down service. We requested it but it never happened. Hotel is big. A classic. The pool was salt water and nice to swim in after our long drive. Valet parking was a plus. Complimentary coffee in the morning was also a plus. We had a cocktail at the bar. Nice crowd. Bartender was also a plus.

Overall no complaints about our stay in regard to the property. However, I feel it is worth mentioning that Joe who was working at the concierge line was EXTREMELY rude. We had just gotten in and we were thirsty and asked for waters to the room, we asked for 4. He literally went dead silent to the point I had to say “hello are you there?” He then like grumbled and said ok I’ll have them up and hung up on me!! What a jerk. I called one other time for a pair of slippers and just as rude. At this level hotel I would expect a MUCH higher level of professionalism and less attitude.
