It’s was a beautiful little cabin. Lots of wildlife around. Quiet and peaceful.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and comfortable. A big thank you to Lorraine for providing some great ideas for easy to moderate hikes. Our definite favorite was the Dripping Rocks south trail. -Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin. The house has everything you could need. Lorraine is an outstanding host. She answers every request promptly and is really helpful. The area is amazing. There are so many great hiking trails. There are plenty of food and grocery options within a reasonable driving distance. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property, remote, but close to town, and plenty to close by from hiking to wineries and breweries. Only downside was not enough places to eat decent meals. Thetre is only so much wings and burgers you can eat. The cabin lived up to it's name, Cozy, loved sitting out on the Screened porch, & the fire pit was a bonus! The only thing we found lacking was that there was not enough hot water especially for showering. Other than that we enjoyed our time there!

Communication was excellent, as was location. Cabin was a great fit for my needs.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is a well-built cabin complete with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The renter was also kind enough to provide some thoughtful treats and touches. The location of the cabin was perfect. It was not too far from civilization and extremely close to our favorite brewery and cidery but still felt like a quiet getaway retreat. The renter was also able to suggest a fantastic farmers market and excellent hiking trails all within close proximity. All in all this was a great getaway.

We enjoyed the best little get away at the cozy cabin. Everything we needed was available. It was comfortable and quiet. Everywhere in town we had meals were excellent. Can’t say enough on how wonderful it was.

This cozy cabin far exceeded our expectations. The actually cabin is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with what anyone would need. The property is also gorgeous and my girlfriend and I fell in love with the ducks and chickens. Everything was great from the spacious kitchen, to the the loft, the super cozy queen bed, the scrumptious brownies or the TV and DVD player with a selection of classics. This has been our best experience with any VRBO. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Owner could not have been nicer, we had brownies prepared on kitchen table when we got there ! Cabin was spotless clean eggs were in the fridge and other items like coffee ect. . Dear grazing in the front yard and she now has a brand new incredibly beautiful home rental about 500 yards away, secluded that we are going back to rent soon ! Best price anywhere !!!

This was the perfect getaway for me and my partner. Walking into the cabin we had been welcomed by fresh brownies ! This cabin felt so cozy and inviting. Lorraine was super sweet and helpful for anything we may have needed. We will definitely book again !

Cozy cabin right near some great outdoor activities!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was as advertised and the perfect romantic private getaway that we needed.The cabin is at the perfect location and close to everything but yet far enough away that you don’t have to hear road traffic,just maybe a deer sneaking through the woods.Lorraine is an awesome host!!! When we arrived at the cabin we had a fresh batch of brownies on the table waiting on us and some tasty duck eggs in the fridge,not to mention the complimentary book that my wife brought home and can’t wait to read.Lorraine was always easy to get ahold of from start to finish,can’t recommend her or this cabin enough.

Loved our 2 night stay here. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful property. Locally, we fished, ate and enjoyed several wineries. A great place for a quick and fun get-away for two.

What a perfect setting for a short retreat to recharge your spirit. The cabin was ideal; everything needed to relax. My favorite spot was the screened porch in the early evening. I haven't enjoyed the comfort and tranquility of a leisurely evening in ages. Thank you Lorraine for the break I needed.

Everything was as advertised

We had an amazing visit and Lorraine was a wonderful hostess. She was easy to communicate with and the cottage was exactly what we wanted for a getaway weekend. My kids loved visiting her animals. We couldn't have asked for anything more and will definitely be back!

Place was cozy and absolutely perfect. Host was fantastic!!! She met us as we arrived and welcomed us to her mountain retreat. She then graciously allowed me to stay an extra hour past check out time. I would go back to her place the next time I go to Wintergreen for certain.

Close to wintergreen and all thr breweries, clean and quiet home with a very responsive and friendly host.

Cabin and property was secluded yet close to things to do. Host was very accommodating and helpful.

This cabin is absolutely lovely! Nestled into the hills, there is a beautiful view from all angles on the property. The location allows for plenty of peace and privacy. Our host was beyond thoughtful and every possible amenity was available.

We had such a nice stay in this little cabin. The scenery was beautiful, it was remote but very close to lots of options for outings. Lorraine was incredibly communicative, the directions to the cabin were flawless, and she even left us with a plate full or incredible brownies! We will definitely be back!

Very nice authentic log cabin. Easy to get to peaceful and location. Our host made us feel welcomed. Delicious home baked brownies awaited us on the kitchen table upon our arrival. The cabin was nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything needed for meal preps. The screened porch made for a relaxing place to read a book, have a coffee and watch the birds and squirrels. Wonderful time!

Used this location as a home base for a couple of day hikes. Had everything we needed for a place to recharge between excursions. Our phenomenal host was quick to respond to messages and had the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
