Pros: -Nice location. Ohori Park is about 7-10 mins away by walking. -Convenience stores nearby -Nearby subway station, about 7-10 mins walk. -Comfy bed. Cons: -SMALL BATHROOM. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a senior with you because it might cause their fall. You will HARDLY move around the bathroom. -Dirty bathroom. You'll see molds on the corners, and their exhaust fan was like it wasn't cleaned for a long time. Very outdated. -Small towel, it would only pass as face towel. -You have to follow up with the owner which room you'll be staying at. They don't give you check-in instructions beforehand. Good thing there's wifi in the airport, I was able to message the owner. I think they should atleast email or notify the guest the check-in instructions. Would I stay here again? NO.

Horrible for foreigners. I think many foreigners are being harassed due to non-availability of front-desk at property. I encountered with a lady facing serious problem after her arrival at the property. She has no room information, no key information, and no way to contact the owner! However, the issue was resolved. In room, there are microwave oven, electric Kettle but no utensils! Not even a glass/Mug to drink water/tea!

Good location but please note that no reception, so you need to self check in. You have to self contact the owner to get the room number and password for the mailbox. They sent email one day in advance. I suggest the owner notice the guest they will send instruction as I notice the instruction at the last moment. I was very confused when I finished the booking and I have to contact hotels.com staff for the contact details of the owner. Check in time is 4pm, a bit late when compared to normal hotel. For the room, the room size is considered as spacious when compared to Japanese hotel, yet the toilet is extremely small, difficult to move inside the toilet. Recommended in general as the price is very attractive and the location is good, many restaurants nearby.

This apt. was advertised with microwave, tea kettle, refrigerator and sink yet came with no cups, plates or sliverware. I had to buy these items as well as a bath towel, which was not provided either. The shower was tiny---like 1 foot by 2 feet and there was no shower curtain which resulted in the the bathroom flooding, since the showerhead was stuck in a position where it pointed out at the room. The pictures in the listing clearly showed a shower curtain. When contacted, the owner refused to help on any of these things. The response was "You have slippers for the bathroom." If this apartment rents for $50 to $100US per night, surely the owner can invest $10US total and buy these items. The room was listed with a balcony. There was none---you opened the back door and there was a big, rusted generator staring back at you. Very disappointing stay. I never write negative reviews, but expect better from the properties listed on hotels.com.

Pros. Solid 3 out of 5 stars for me. 1st Star. Location, Location. Location. Its two blocks away from the subway. Near a beautiful park. 2nd Star. The price. While it may vary from time and season, it was well worth my stay. 3rd Star. It had everything that I needed. Secure place, bed, shower, privacy, strong wi-fi, etc. Cons. -1 Confort. Small is something that I'm very familiar with in Japan. The shower/toilet was the size of a tight phone booth. Its small. What i mean by confort.... the bed squeaked super loud and it was extremely cheaply built. Super disappointing... would have pref. It be on a traditional bed/mattress or just got full out Japanese style futon. -Noise. Situated in the middle of a construction area. If you are an early riser, you wont have an issue. I am, but one of the day, I woke up to a jack hammer 20ft away from the window. Its completely unfair for me to give a negative remark to this establishment, but I'm here to make sure that my fellow travelers are fully aware before booking. Cheers!

The place is conveniently located with easy accesses to buses and subway lines. However, unfortunately, the entrance light didn't turn on, and the towel hanger was broken. There were no utensils and dishware in the kitchen space. With a bit more considerate preparation, the room can be much better.
