This classic log home is scenically situated alongside the resort golf course, with a manicured green just through the trees. Wristbands are provided for you to access Northern Bay Resort's gorgeous outdoor pool, kids' splash pool, hot tub, playground, and courts for tennis, pickleball, and sand volleyball. There's even a resort beach with a designated swimming area on Castle Rock Lake. Inside, the house is full of Northwoods ambiance, with natural logs adorning the walls, railings, and staircase. There's a central living room that's warmed by a gas fireplace, a kitchen around the corner with every essential appliance, and several dining spaces between the table, the breakfast bar, and the high-top cocktail table. Upper and lower decks, a gas grill, and an expansive yard with a firepit provide many options for relaxing outdoors as well. In the evenings, retreat to the converted garage game room to find a fantastically entertaining space with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, a dart board, and a tropical bar. The game room even comes heated for year-round enjoyment! We came up for a getaway with friends at this property. There was plenty of room to play games, have meals, and sleep. The heated garage was an added bonus. We played pool and darts while we had some drinks at the bar. The property is also great for scenic and quiet walks. It was a great place to celebrate an early Christmas with friends.

Great place to stay (4 of us) for a 3-day golf trip. Golfed during the day, made dinners at the property and enjoyed hanging out and playing games in the evening.

Property was well maintained and house had everything we needed. It was clean and the garage had numerous games for the kids to enjoy. Centrally located to golf, swim play basketball, pickle ball or the beach.

Beautiful location and home! Comfortable stay. Loved access to the pool for kids. Great to have the games to stay busy, and loved the fire pit too. We did experience a bad storm the 2nd night and power went out, and found flashlights but the batteries went out almost right away. There were no candles to light as it was nighttime and very dark (would be great to have a plan in place this happened to another family). A leak above the living room couch dripped all night likely from the heavy rains. About 6-8 hrs later power came back on during the middle of the night.

We enjoyed our stay. House is located about 1/3 mile from swimming pool, tennis courts & beach. It’s a pretty easy walk & there is parking by the pool if you prefer to drive. The garage is equipped with pool table & games. For some reason the alarm system went off at 3am one night. Checked everything and found no reason for this.

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated with a nice bar in the garage. If golf was included the location on the 12th hole would be more appealing.

Great stay for our annual Spring golf outing. The home was clean and met our needs. The outside landscaping could use some TLC. Overall a good stay.

We traveled to this beautiful house for a quick getaway along with friends of ours. It is literally located just off the 12th green of Northern Bay Golf Course!! Too cold for us to golf, but this would be a golfer’s paradise. Three large bedrooms accommodated us all very easily. Ample dining space created a fun setting for meals and socializing. A patio off of the dining room gives an opportunity to enjoy the serenity of the wooded lot. Getaway on the Green also provided all of the essentials for us to take a few things off of our plate when packing. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan to come back in the future!!

When we arrived the code for the deadbolt lock worked but the doorknob was locked so we were unable to get in. We called Vacasa support and they were unable to help. We texted another number provided by Vacasa and they didn’t respond. After an hour of trying to get help from Vacasa support we found another number to try. And finally received a txt with code for a lock box with a jet that opened the door. This is the 2nd bad experience with vacasa in 2 years. Try to find rentals not managed by Vacasa. This place was great but they should use a different company to manage the property.
