We had a wonderfully relaxing break in Bilpin, helped by the incredible hospitality of the owners. The location is great to get around but I would have preferred something away from the traffic noise.

No storage, no cupboard space, no hanging space and the plastic stools beside bed, just impractical. Felt stepping over our bags all the time. Bed way to soft, medium would have been practical for all. The lock on front door was iffy, could not lock from inside and when locking from outside had to pull and wiggle a lot as the plunger did not meet up properly. There was a small table with one chair in kitchen, would have been better use of space there to have had a small cupboard for storage. Place looked unfinished, no soap holder in shower as missing. Even hand soap dispenser in kitchen broken and couldn't use. Extremely close to main road and traffic noise from trucks braking basically all night. Probably we found the most indignant thing of all was the BBQ had a chain and lock and would require us to pay $30 cash to have use. Better if that is an additional cost if wanted use in payment as part of the accommodation. Wasn't going to leave a review but felt pressured as keep receiving email to review. Sorry would not go back or recommend this place. The highlight of our 2-day stay was the Bilpin area which we loved.
