Great stay with brilliant staff who welcomed you every time you entered. The internet is fast, free parking which all make for a better stay. The only thing I would change is to have an earlier start for breakfast times as 7am is quite late for a start time due to travelling for business.

Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Stayed 3 nights. No cleaning services or even bins emptied. Lots of banging doors through the night due to fire doors which can't be helped. Evening meal expensive for what you get. Breakfast is not bad value

Based here whilst touring the local and wider area. Hotel accommodation is perfectly adequate, I would say comparable with a Premier Inn, but the associated pub fell well short of expectations. Opening hours were very limited, particularly on Sunday night, having returned from a long day driving and walking, we entered the bar at 8.43 to be told that last orders had already been called and they were closing!! On other nights they also closed early, although not as early, but by 10 o’clock! It meant that we decided to eat out before returning to the hotel in case we were unable to get an evening meal. As this chain is Marston’s Inns, my friends and I felt it was a poor experience.

It was a great stay, lovely staff, clean and comfortable room, with good food options.

I needed a quiet nights sleep. Very comfortable love the pillows. Staff are worth they're weight in gold . Well done to all those who look after this property 🙏

Great rooms, friendly staff with great service. Food was excellent

Worst experience after staying in the hotel every month since it opened. Bus tours in with a groups of kids which hung about late in the evening outside our window and then banged the inside door continually. This went on non stop till 1am and then people leave from 5.45am. Last morning those kids left at 4.30am (running in & out from 3.45am). Inside door constantly slamming really needs sorting as accessible room shook every time.

Nice wee room AC was delightful and breakfast was gorgeous

Room had stains on curtains and carpets. Bathroom was clean as was bedding. Very disappointed the restaurant stopped serving food at 2000.

Property interior was excellent but outside was scruffy with rubbish bin overflowing and excess rubbish lying around. Pile of cigarette ends piled up in the corner. Spoiled the whole appearance of the property. Sad as the pub/restaurant was excellent.

It was a basic no frills hotel. The heat did not come on until the middle of the night and then blasted us out. The room was tired.

The room was basic but we made it work. Double bed a single bed and a camp bed we pushed them all together made one giant bed. 2 adults and a baby. No cot for baby not that he would have slept in it anyway. Had a tv and supplies to make tea and coffee. Soap supplied in the bathroom. Cleanliness was standard it was a bit dusty and a few stains here and there. Pub had lively breakfast and very friendly staff

two nights were very comfortable, room was spacious and good to use for working in. Pub opposite was nice to use, food was good and well priced

Nice comfortable room, with very clean beds, sheets and overall a very clean place. We were received by the check in person, and she was very, very nice.
