Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent redevelopment of jute & linen factory. Room had vaulted ceiling in brick. Well designed rooms & public areas. Pedestrian access to most restaurants & attractions is within 15-20 minutes.

Really nice hotel, with a modern, yet authentic look and relaxed atmosphere.

Great stay in one of the junior suites. Beds are a bit uncomfortable but the room itself is lovely

Nice and close to the bus station also the shops and pubs wasn’t too busy staff were friendly and helpful

Good location, very modern

The room itself was lovely and I liked the brickwork ceiling. Bathroom was lovely and the shower was amazing. But downfall for the room would be the lighting was awful. So dark and dull. Only a small amount of lights.
On site parking is very limited for the amount of rooms. I appreciate it’s in the city centre but when you are not familiar with the city it’s not easy.

Great hotel and a great price. Only thing to note is the hotel is going through a refurb in the lobby which we weren’t aware of.

Lovely converted mill
Good value for money

Poor customer service, £13.50 to park your car is excessive. Breakfast overcooked
Would have had dinner at the hotel but didn’t want to give them anymore money such is their contempt for their customers
I asked for a manager to contact me they didn’t

Great stay, very clean and tidy room, food was of a very high standard.

Was hard to get to by walking from City Centre.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. We are family of seven and we booked two rooms. The rooms were spacious with two double beds that were so comfortable. We really do enjoyed our stay.

Interesting old jute mill with lots of quirky touches. Room was great - high vaulted brick ceiling with large windows.

Great place to stay and would advise if in Dundee

Room very poorly lit, a particular problem in November. Charge of £12.50 per night for parking is excessive. got back to the hotel just after 11pm, and the bar was closed - this was on a Friday.

A wonderful hotel, from the size of the room, the amenities, great bathroom and shower, the excellent breakfast buffet, and the in house restaurant. No negatives. An easy 5 minute walk from the bus or train station. Highlites of Dundee: V&A museum, HMS Discovery, and the Verdant Jute Factory museum. ( turns out this hotel was a Jute Factory at one time)
Highly recommended.

The hotel is smart, clean and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The Hotel Indigo is one of the main reasons why my trip to Dundee was so enjoyable. I would not hesitate to return to the Hotel Indigo again for either business or a holiday

Lovely hotel and lovely staff

Modern, exciting, tasteful conversion of an ex Jute warehouse. Stylish, attractive with interesting little displays of Dundee’s history.
Convenient walking distance from station and town. Car parking too.
5.0
Hotel Indigo is really easy to get to by car, public transport and on foot. It’s also a good spot to stay in if you’re exploring Dundee - everything is pretty much within walking distance.
On site parking isn’t great, but there are nearby options available.
Love the individual look of rooms across different floors, as well as the use of the fabric of the building as part of its design - and the rooms being soundproof is wonderful!!
Beds are super comfy and the lighting options are fun to play around with at bedtime!
Breakfast is included in some room rates - there’s a choice of continental and full Scottish, plenty of fruit, juices and hot drinks in a self-serve basis.
Staff here are all so friendly and helpful - the cleaning staff, breakfast team and the front of house team all gave excellent customer service!
I’d highly recommend booking a stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

The hotel was very nice, clean and easy access to downtown. Wish the front desk had info about the town and how to get around.

I was temporarily locked out of my room, a temporary eviction as they call it in the UK.
Not only is it illegal there, but it was because the GM wanted to talk with me.
A friend and I wanted to know the nationality of a staff member and it got us into a situation of total wokeism. We did ask politely and got scolded by the administration like in a kindergarten. If you pit stop in Dundee, this place is an option. I stayed for two weeks, and would never recommend for more than a 16 hours stay.

We stayed on a Saturday night for a friends 40th (8 of us). It's not easy to find twin rooms with double beds so that was a bonus. The location is easy for the bus or train station and only a short 5/10 minute walk from the town center. The rooms were fresh, clean, modern and comfy beds. The staff were lovely and friendly and were also able to hang on to our bags until the rooms were available. I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

The hotel itself was a fascinating, extremely imaginative and very successful conversion of an industrial mill from another age. Its uniqueness itself justifies a visit. Any visitor would have to depend on the travel directions to find it but, having said that, the instructions if followed precisely will teke you there. The hotel could not be thought of as a holiday hotel but is probably one of the few quality hotels to serve Dundee's emerging waterfront attractions and also Dundee's commercial activities.

Florence at the front desk was a ray of sunshine.

It was a spacious, clean, quiet room, and the staff were most helpful and professional. Many thanks - we will be back!

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff went above and beyond to help me with my stay. Food was amazing. The speaker in bathroom so you can hear tv was very cool. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Dundee.

Best hotel I've stayed in. Everything was perfect.
Nice big windows with plenty of light and good views. Spacious room. Good bathroom.
3.0
Rapid checkin, pleasant staff, comfortable room, conveniently situated for the city. No problems.
3.0
Lovely comfortable rooms with a bit of character, the building having previously been a mill. Exposed brick ceilings and large metal poles remind you of its previous use.

One of the staff was very rude with attitude, the other one was nice. Unfortunately the ride one check us in and made everything unpleasant till the other came over to help.
The room was very dark, could add one or more light in the sitting area…
The location was not nice, feeling unsafe and far away from everything.
4.0
Nice clean suite. Very friendly staff. Didn’t get the room I ordered and it couldn’t be changed because the hotel was full. Parking is very inconvenient.
4.0
A very comfortable room. Parking is not very convenient as there is limited spaces at the hotel and then you are charged £12 to park! Phone in our room did not work and informed staff but no one came to fix it. Need to call our elderly friend to make sure he was ok but had to go to his room each time.
5.0
Unique decor and well-appointed. Very nice staff.
