Excellent hotel, fantastic service and great location. We stayed in the Level and believe it was excellent value for money. We were well looked after throughout, the hotel was immaculate, all the food excellent and a great drinks selection. The hotel offers easy access to the beach and Alicante itself. Would recommend and would happily stay again. Only issue we had was that the Expedia page states they offer free airport transfers. The hotel do not offer this so this should be removed from the page on here.

Very disappointed. Because of renovation taking place on The Level we were given a standard room in another part of the Hotel despite the fact that when we booked the room in August 2023 we were told when we arrived that the work had started before then. In other words we were conned.

The room was ok when we changed this after one night in a smaller room in 1 floor with no view at all. Looking direct into a building when we order room with view to the marina.
Food in the restaurant in the hotel was in a lower standard. We order salmon dinner and got served raw fish. Personell did not ask if we want to have something else to eat. Food from the Room service was misarble.
After eat breakfast the last day when we was going back home we got food poisening. Thank you for this.:(
We will never come back to this hotel for shore.

Too much noise from the hallway in the night. It came from the staff who was doing all kind of transport in the hallway and talking loudly.

The food was excellent, nothing to complain about.
Service was good, Silvia extended our stay 2 hours, very kind and lovely.
We paid full board, and every penny was worth it.
The spa is not including, a bit shame. Overall, we loved the hotel's view and location.

Very nice hotel! It was a surprise that we had access to the VIP area with snacks, drinks and happoy hour. A dissapointment that they give you all these amenities but breakfast is not included.

The concept is good, a hotel within a hotel, andnot unlike concierge floors that some hotels have. The lounge area with snacks and beverages as well as breakfast is quite nice.

Exec lounge and pool made the stay for us. Hotel rooms were clean and good amenities but smaller than the standard rooms at the Melia Spa Port Maris next door. But overall the fact it’s Adults only and you had the free food & drinks at the lounge all day means we would defo stay here again, maybe just pay for an upgraded room. Very good location for hitting the town too.

Hello.
I am staying in room 1105 and am being badly disturbed by the level of music I have to hear tonight.
The Staff at reception don’t seem to care and say “nothing we can do”.
I have stayed here for 6 nights and have spent 3000 euros for this week and this is the most pathetic service I have ever experienced.
You clearly do not care about your guests and have ruined my stay here.
Why should any guest have to feel this Bass and loud music all night? I have very important meetings tomorrow and you have destroyed any confidence I have In your service.
I have travelled around the world in some of the finest hotels and this by far is the WORST i have ever seen.
I would like the Managers emails address and telephone number because I will be giving very bad reviews and will make sure I take this to the headquarters.

Comfortable quiet rooms however very long corridors with odd extended W design - not good for people with walking issues.
Rang to ask a question about the dining and no answer from concierge reception or restaurant despite trying each twice for a considerable time . Staff appear busy and preoccupied .
Have a further longer stay booked which am looking forward to.

Anazing service and place.
Snacks and drinks available throughout the day were varied and plentiful.
One side of hotel overlooks the beach, the other the marina which gets the sun in the evening.
We will definitely stay again.

Was very difficult to find the check in desk and a long walk through many corridors. Once there it was very slow to get checked in. At first booking couldn’t be found then I had to forward various emails to the receptionist with the booking reference and proof of payment. Didn’t feel that this was a good start to what turned out to be a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

View from “the level” suite was beautiful.
Beds very comfortable.
All the little extras-tapas,desert time, complimentary drinks in the private “level” pool area were very nice as well.
Did not get to use pool as I prefer salt water and the hotel is next to a very beautiful sandy beach, but the pool was always very busy so I would assume the other guests were enjoying it. :)

Check in was a joke. The receptionist couldn’t even tell me the pool hours and told me about a pool that was supposed to be open but was under renovations. And pools close too early and are not heated. Stayed here one night and had room service come in while we were gone which I thought was weird and an invasion of privacy. Had to call multiple times to the front desk for them to pick up and when the phone was answer the guy said “yes”?! Like I am a bother. Overall not a good experience. Hotel is beautiful but the staff and amenities need some serious help.

Great stay for three nights. We stayed on the Level side. Unfortunately remodeling started in the lobby area directly under our room the first day so the hammering during the day was not enjoyable. Otherwise the staff is great, views of the sea and location are ideal.

Excellent all round experience, only downside was the very uncomfortable fold down bed in the junior suite, would suggest a better mattress.

The property was great. The service was great. The location is great (near downtown and the beach). The food was mediocre and we didn't eat at the hotel even though w had a plan that included half board.

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 day stay in the level. The hotel itself and location are really good. The disappointing aspect was the unavailability of sunbeds meaning we had to pay €20/day extra to hire beds on 6 out 7 days on the beach also foregoing the benefits of the free drinks in the lounge during the day. Upon check out we were informed the hotel was overbooked hence the shortage of sunbeds. I’ve looked on the Meliá website but cannot see a customer feedback page so have posted this on Expedia.

The rooms at The Level are lovely and spacious, well appointed and newly decorated. Beds comfortable and rooms spotless. The common areas around the hotel are clean and tidy, but my main issues were the lack of space around the pool area at The Level and the main pool/terrace. We were there in May, and it would be really overcrowded in the summer. We couldn't get into the pool area at the level, and don't believe in getting up before 7am when on holiday to get a sunbed, so almost useless. That means you can't get your drinks unless you sit in the lounge. Lounge crowded at breakfast and difficult to get seated/have to queue up for food.
