This is a adorable little beach resort on Lake Huron. You rent individual cottages, which are comfortable, cute and perfect for some chill time. My cottage had a small deck, kitchen, comfy couch, king bed, clean shower and fireplace. Lou, the employee who greeted me was exceptional. So nice, friendly and accommodating. Really really great. I will definitely be coming back.

Loved the view of the water. But I am handicapped, so I did not realize that there was no parking in front of our cabin, and the sidewalk is not smooth so that was difficult. The toilets are very low and that’s difficult when you have bad hips or knees. It was very small. The reclining chair did not work even though it had a remote. The good news was the beds were very comfortable and the pillows were very good. I think it would be more fun in the summer when you can get outside more it’s not for a lot of people because it was so small.

The manager was extremely welcoming and nice. We arrived at the property late and he had the heater and the lights on for us. The cabin had everything we needed and the grounds are lovely. The unit we stayed in (cabin 3) looks like it got updated recently. The only reason I did not give this a 10/10 is because the units are a tad too small. But, to be fair, the unit was never misrepresented.

Love this place!! I will return again and again!!

Paradise beach is a great name as the beach is fantastic! For us the small cabin was a bit small with no room outside of bed in bedrooms. The cabin was quaint, and cute but just a little bit small for us. The kitchen was furnished, and everything worked as it should. We would definitely stay there again for the beach, but pack a little different in smaller bags, etc.

Decent place on the water. Staff are friendly and helpful. Spacious, cottage feel. Only complaints were the gravel parking lot not motorcycle friendly, the shower stall is too small and the shower head too low, and the bathroom wall under the sink was filthy.

Lou the owner has an amazing property. Great location, perfection accommodations. Very convenient, and super friendly. Whatever you need they have ir for the perfect stay on the beach. Who else provides free firewood !? Highly recommend if you are in the Tawas area !!

Staff was welcoming and helpful. The location is wonderful, with beach access and places to relax. They have been remodeling the cabins and have plenty of amenities. The the furniture is cute but the couch and mattresses could be replaced. There are grills available to cook outside and people seem very respectful of others. I would envision this place more for adults rather than for families with small children. There's something for everyone but it's rare to find a place to relax, read and listen to the waves of Michigan's treasures.

Nice beach

Very nice people/management, parking was a mess as our "assigned" spot was taken by someone else. We had 3 beds and 2 comforters, two used towels were hanging in our bathroom, as well as 2 used qtips on top of our refrigerator. I wouldn't want to forget the used qtip in the silverware drawer next to the leftover chunks of food. Very gross.

Nice place. I will come back. But the bathroom needs a good cleaning and disinfection.

Nice spot right on the water. They provide wood for fires on the beach that was a nice touch. Clean rooms. The place looks older outside but still nice enough. Downtown is a five-10 minute Drive.

Excellent beach quality

We really enjoyed staying at Paradise Beach. While the town is quite small, there are still places around to get food and places to hang out. The room was clean, but could use a bit of updating…. Which I believe they are in the process of doing. The private beach access is amazing!

Very clean and quaint. Spotless bathroom snd I liked that there was a window and a fan in the bath and the lighting in bathroom was great. No shadow in the mirror

Fantastic family resort - loved cabin 15 in the middle of the property!!

Great place, would stay again. There were three fire pits on the beach for sharing. The only negative was one group at one of the fire pits was blasting music so loud it was annoying. Not really respectful of others who wanted a quiet evening by the fire.

The cabin is adorable. Very clean. Staff helpful and nice. Love the 2 firepits they have. All the seating ourside. Swings. Sun chairs. A playset. Bbq grills everywhere. I will definitely be staying here again

Awesome place to have some real good times. Fire pits on the beach and plenty of things to do in the area.

Quaint and right off the lake. Not a view out of our window particularly, but just step out the door and there was the lake. Not the place to go if you are looking for luxury, but really fun if you are willing to go "old-fashioned".

Good.

Small room with an uncomfortable mattress. Instant coffee next to the coffee maker. Bathroom door too big to enter bathroom and close comfortably. Curtains shown bright blue all night because of the porch light.

This was a last minute reservation for a one night stay while we visited family. The entire experience was easy and stress free. We absolutely loved the location and the fact that it was right on the beach, with plenty of seating and things to do on the property. We didn't have a lot of time to spend at Paradise Beach Resort, but we will see definitely be back in the future.

An older property, but a very clean and comfortable place. They have pretty much everything you need for a summer vacation - a private beach, two firepits (with firewood provided), cornhole, shuffleboard, volleyball, grills, picnic tables and plenty of outdoor seating. They even have kayaks and a paddleboat to rent. We loved it! Even with the hotel sold out, plenty of room for everyone on the beach. The hotel was amazingly quiet overnight. We will definitely book again.

We had a great time visiting! Cabin was cute and efficient for our needs. The beach area was really nice! We enjoyed a fire the first night. Will definitely be back again!

This was my first time at Paradise Beach Resort and I was impressed with the level of service and the amenities. We were supplied with firewood and starter to use pits on the beach, lots of chairs and rockers. Linens were clean and plentiful. Every cabin had their own charcoal grill and ours had a fairly well stocked kitchen. Tons of games such as cornhole, shuffleboard, volleyball, frisbees, kayaks. The kids stayed busy having fun. Would definitely stay again.

Rented Cabin#3 for 1 night. Floor had sand on it, as well as ON the bed. Not sure how that happens. Toilet had a super weak flush which required plunging. Maybe worth $50 night.

Love love love. It was so cute and so nice, so private and peaceful. Lou was fantastic! So friendly, will definitely be staying there again soon! ❤️

We liked the cleanliness of our cottage (Unit #15). The flooring, stove, refrigerator, microwave, wash basin and toilet were all newer. The shower stall was about 3' X 3' (rather small) but with plenty of hot water. The overall facility seemed to be at least 50 years old and dated. Easy access to a nice beach with a fire pit and beach chairs.

We had an excellent time during our stay here. Our cabin (room) had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The bed was excellent. The towels were good and the staff is super! There are grills, fire pits with lots of wood and yard games. We will definitely be back!

I made a last minute reservation for this place a day before our stay. My 2 kids and myself needed to get away and from what we could see this looked like the perfect place. When we arrived I already felt like I could take a deep breath and relax. We stayed 2 nights and were offered a late check out and possibility to stay another night for cheaper than what we paid for the other nights. The beach is perfect not but 10 seconds from your door. Every person we came across on the property or in the city were so friendly. We plan to take a yearly trip here we absolutely loved it!

The rooms were adequate, clean, bedrooms tiny. If your looking for a place to crash at night after having fun in the water all day, it’s good. There’s a nice, large fire pit , with wood supplied, for all guests to enjoy, if your neighbors are nice it’s great, if they’ve been drinking , not soo much. This would be true anywhere tho. It’s close to the downtown area with great little shops, parks and restaurants. If your looking for fancy/super nice this is not your place. The office staff was very nice. We were told by repeat visitors the rooms were all freshly painted, new vinyl flooring, and new bedding. It would be fun for a large family gatherings.

We had an absolutely fantastic getaway for 18th anniversary. We liked it so much we’ve booked a return trip in August with the kids!
