Great relaxing stay, in a laid back destination

The apartment was very well laid out. Great little balcony with fabulous views over the town. The electric shutters really made the bedroom dark at night, great for sleeping.

Personally I would rather a proper shower room than a bath with shower head. Te sofa bed could have been a lot more comfortable to sit on. The apartment is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach and centre of town. A bit up hill on the way back.

Very good

We had a lovely stay in the Caravella Luxury Apartments. Very comfortable with excellent facilities, so we had a lovely stay. Markella, our host, was very hospitable and helpful, and even gave us lifts in her car. She emptied our fridge for us on our last day and drove us to our next accommodation! The property was very clean and we loved our stay.

Only issue is you need to be fit to climb up the steep hill to teach the property which can be quite tiring during the day when it’s hot. But it’s definitely worth the climb. We will return as soon as we can.

lovely apartment marred by location

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped.It was exactly as described on the website. Markella, the host, met us from the bus and took us back at the end of our stay.

One or two things in the apartment did not work (safe, microwave) but it was not a problem for us. However, we had flat number 3, 2 bedrooms, ground floor. It was literally next to the adjoining block and people walked right next to our terrace all day long. Our sea view was almost permanently blocked by cars parked on the road. The worst thing for us was that, despite the description saying the apartment is 100 yards from the beach, it is up on a hillside and it is a 10 minute walk to the edge of the village and a further 5 to 10 minutes to the centre. The walk is not an easy one uphill on return and bad at night so we had to change our day so that we tackled the hill only once and not at night, which put a blight on evening meals. We would say a car is necessary for most people for a stay here to get full value (we are somewhat older travellers) and do not accept flat 3.

Really good large rooms with a great view. Great location for day trips to the surrounding countryside and evening meals in Paleochora.

Great stay. Would recommend.

Great sea view, location. The owner waited for us and greeted us personally. Very good communication, super fast answers. They have a Caravella restaurant at the sea side, ca. 15 mins walk from the apartment, which serves great food.

Beautiful apartment with great facilities. Marketta very kindly collected us from the ferry and dropped us off at the bus station. Would highly recommend.

Amazing views, quiet but within walking distance from the beach and the town. Markella kept the apartment clean and was always very helpful.

Nice apartment

Clean apartment and good bed.

It was further from the center than expected. Of course you could have walked downtown, but the road was not very nice on foot especially after dark. We ended up taking the car for dinner...and restrictions on the wine.

A very quiet appartment with wonderful seaview

The appartment was very comfortable. There are two TV, with one in the bedroom. The view from the balcon is wonderful with 270 degrees on sea and on mountains. The hosts has the best restaurant of Paleochora near the port, We dined every day fresh fishes and greek specialities.

We like everything.
