This place is in a great part of the town with fantastic views. There’s bars, shops and restaurants 5 minutes up the road which is easy enough to walk to and the same down the road. The beach is about a 15/20 minute walk down hill and is well sign posted. I would advise getting a taxi back up like us for a flat rate of $25 (your legs will thank you)

Nothing. For the price you are paying you don’t expect any extras. You have a great location with an amazing view that is clean and tidy.

Our stay at villaverde was amazing, the breakfast in the mornings was simple yet delicious, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful in giving us information to navigate Positano. There was a private staircase that we could use to make the walk to the beach quite short too (15mins).

Incredible view, good Italian breakfast, very nice family running the property. Location is great, a quick walk to center of town, and very accessible to bus stops for Amalfi coast transportation and navigating within Positano. Amazing terraces too!

Beds were not great.

room is quite pretty and the view is pretty nice :) there is a terrace with city and a bit sea view, and also there is the parking option available, for 20€/night.

bathroom: like a hostel. shower is separated by the rest of a bathroom only by a curtain which sticks on you and the water temperature has it’s own personality. the owner did not let me have the coffee on my balcony as is “against rules” to have the coffe in your room; the breakfast has the worse pastery&coffee that I’ve had in Italy. besides that you get bread and marmelade. al this is that very expensive area where you pay 2-3 times more than anywhere else in Italy… the view was ok but not the best as there are other buildings to the sea and the walk to the beach is pretty long and hard while returning.

Everything was amazing! Friendly staff, great views and delicious breakfast! We’ll definitely come back here again!

The family that runs Villaverde is so kind. The view was INCREDIBLE. I would stay here just for the view and a great location in Positano.

The view is just amazing. We had our own small balcony in our room which was beautiful. Each morning we went and got breakfast on the top balcony with another great view. The staff was all super nice and helpful.

Everything was so beautiful, authentic and walking distance to everything. Highly recommend!

The view is amazing, especially when having a drink at the balcony at night or a lovely breakfast in the morning The host is very kind and helpful! It is very near to the bus station.

The location is good for the money you pay.

The staff is not very helpful, they don’t speak English and also the reception is not 24h open so if you are going to come back late take you keys or you will be stuck at reception.

Big big terrace from my room and at breakfast time with an awesome view on Positano. Large room & bedroom.

The view was great. Affordable stay option in Positano if you are on a budget. Parking is right next to the property which saved us the pain of having to drag our luggage from a parking lot. The charge of 20 euros per night very reasonable too for Positano. It's almost at the top of the hill which means you get a good view while walking down but that also means that there are a lot of steps to go down to the beach or even to the middle area where a lot of the good restaurants and cafes are. We did realize that taking the slightly longer route (used by vehicles) is less exhausting as compared to the steps when going uphill. There are some good restaurants near the BnB too if you don't fancy going down the hill twice in a day.

It's a very basic accommodation option for budget travelers. So, don't expect much. However having said that, it could do with some upgrading as everything is super old. The beds are springy and not the most comfortable. Having to ask for everything from the ac remote to extra pillows was a pain. The room wasn't the cleanest, found some hair on the sheets. Old/rough towels. Simple breakfast but that could be due to Covid. P.S: also note that many of the restaurants have already closed for the season although it's not been updated on google. If you are going out of your way to walk to a restaurant, call and check with them beforehand. We walked all the way to Fornillo beach for Da Ferdinando but it had already closed for the season.
