The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom too. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Bolentino B&B is near to the port and also to the railway station. There is a fridge in the room and waterboiler together wiht tea and bottled drinks in the fridge.

Great hosts. Provided bottle of local wine. Excellent Italian breakfast. Host drove us to train station after breakfast, saving us a long uphill walk with luggage.

We were late in arriving in Italy due to plane delays and we kept in touch with the inn-keepers. They were very kind and accommodating and did not charge us for the missed first night. Our bags did not arrive on our flight and the toiletries they provided were a welcome surprise. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful. They kindly invited us to share a drink the night we stayed. They were kind and thoughtful in all ways.

Nothing. We were so pleased with the room - comfy with a warm shower, clean, a small table to put our items on and a window to the street for fresh air.

One of the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Everything was very clean and nice, the breakfast was delicious, the view was great and the hosts were the most pleasant, nice and warm people we have ever met! Definitely would stay here anytime we are in the area. 😍

it felt like coming home, it was cozy and well cared for. the hosts were willing to do anything to make your stay lovely. breakfast was made of quality groceries. The hosts even made us a picnic lunch for our boating day.

there was nothing of note. they don’t have beach towels for you to use but this is so minor!

Renata & her husband, Antonio, are a lovely warm couple hosting the B&B space. While when booking you don't know which room you'll get, it honestly doesn't matter because of how well maintained the space is. We got the red room. It's comfortably sized, warm, and cosy. The en suite bathroom is clean and furnished with toiletries as well as a towel rack to dry your towels. The breakfast was delicious and a warm space. Yes, the breakfast room is only available during breakfast time but it is evidently their living room and so set aside for their use otherwise. No issue there. Good reliable WiFi. The B&B is walking distance from the train station as well as the ferry terminal (5 minutes each way). There's also a little organic store across the alley from the B&B with wine, cheese, and snacks. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Varenna!

Everything was great! The hosts are super nice and the breakfast was very wide ranged. The apartament is located 1 min from the lake and ferry stop. 5min from railway station. We were able to enter the room earlier ;)

The hosts was phenomenal, they personally served our breakfast. The location was perfect, very close to the ferry and a beautiful resto by the water. I will def come back to this place on my next visit.

Renata and her husband are great hosts. They don't speak much English but it was not difficult to talk to them. It was manageable and they were very polite and friendly. The house and room was very beautiful and cozy. The washroom was clean and all necessary items were provided. The view of the mountains from the dining room was very peaceful. The breakfast options were great and some options were also available for vegans (maybe remind Renata one day before). Close to ferry point and train station both. But please remember that you have to pay in cash. 2 ATMs are available nearby.

We (mom and me) LOVED this place. Maybe it was cos we arrived after eight hours of driving, maybe it's because the previous night's accommodation wasn't a great experience, but from the minute of booking, staying at this little bnb was a pure delight. Great communication ahead and leading up to check-in and a very friendly and warm welcome from both Renata and Antonio upon our arrival. The accommodations are A+ - incredibly clean, spacious, with all the amenities you'd want. I had one of the best night's sleep here of my entire trip to Europe. Bathroom was very large, very lovely toiletries and linens (down to provision of slippers). Breakfast was excellent - great variety and very satiating. The location is pretty perfect; a five minute walk to the ferry, ten minute stroll to the heart of the old part of Varenna. Good wifi, amazing scenery, a secure space to park our car. Renata & Antonio are some of kindest and warmest people I've met and are among the top hosts I've encountered, even waking up before the sun rose to pack us a breakfast as we had a very early flight from Bergamo. I am definitely going to try to book this place on my next trip to Lake Como.

Meeting the couple who ran the property. Renata was very responsive before and during our stay. She and her husband were both so friendly and approachable. It’s a very good location halfway between the train station and the waterfront. All cold breakfast options, but very hearty and nice variety. Our room and bathroom were quite large. But, make sure you get the rear bedroom, as the front bedroom is quite a bit smaller.

After breakfast there is no common space that can be used by the guests.
