The room was quiet, clean, comfortable. The breakfast offered is not good. It used to be much better.

I am so impressed with the family who owns the Skimmerhorn. They we so accommodating and helpful, friendly and courteous. Our hockey teamed stayed there for 5 days. To our surprise they had a huge fenced back yard, firepit, BBQ shack, sand pit and toys for the kids. We were able to have 50 people come together and have breakfast, lunches and dinners together with more room than we knew what to do with. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

The hotel was nice and clean. It was simple and what we needed. They upgraded our room which was much appreciated. A little disappointed in the breakfast. Oatmeal, toast, muffins, cereal, coffee, and juice. I was expecting more items but for the price of the room it was not a major issue. We would go back.

Amazing experience, from the front-desk staff to the kitchenette and amenities. This will be my go-to hotel for 5+ people group trips, I will have to try the 2-4 people suite next time.

Weighing in on the pros and cons here...
Pros...
-Nice check in gal
-A half decent amount of tv channels
-Room was ok and clean enough
-Hot tub jets at least worked and a large pool area and clean
Cons...
-The running fan had a weird noise and it was hard to sleep to. Some light cling clanging noise. I had to turn everything off and just deal with no heat on in room and the loud traffic outside. I did not sleep well.
-The breakfast was so weak! One muffin choice, NO bananas and one type of bread choice only. Just juice and coffee and cereal and toast! NO yogurts, no boiled eggs etc etc...management really cheaped out big time on this aspect.
I cannot return unless the fans are much better noise wise and if they get with the program and cater a bit/a lot more to breakfast as the rate was still up there.

I will start off by stating that we have stayed at this property many times in the past and always felt it was good value for our money. Typically in the Past we would reserve on our own as the former manager kept track and would give us a good rate when we were down for medical appointments, but a few years back the hotel was sold and it is now part of a franchise chain. At first everything was fine, then things started to change. We chocked it up to staff issues as many service based businesses are having staffing issues, then perhaps in a competitive market small cutbacks were needed to remain attractive cost wise. Well, that aside, perhaps because this time we reserved through Expedia, we were assigned the lowest quality room on the highway side on the old motel style ground floor rooms. The room was old and tired. The mattress was sagging in the middle, of course we complained and were reassigned to another room at the very end of the complex. The room was reasonable, but lacking in a few of the items we typically had, such as a microwave. Then the default for room servicing is none, unless one requests it, and then you have to be pretty specific. But seriously no yogurt or margarine for breakfast. Cereal, toast, apple, and one blueberry flavoured muffin. Thats it. Come on NO margarine. coffee, tea, and juice thankfully still exist. Has it come to this? Sorry folks, too many other choices In town. Time to move on.

Was disappointed with the continental breakfast. Very limited selection. Only one kind of bread, one type of muffin. Only peanut butter and jam and one type of fruit. Would have liked the option of a bagle, cream cheese, maybe some sausage or hard boiled eggs. I know that it is the slower season but that should not be an excuse.

at 1100 pm someone checked into room above us. Loud music, dragging chairs and table (multiple times), loud voices, people knocking on doors. Went on until 400am - my bad that I didnt report it. But I did go in and let them know when i checked out. I didnt expect them to do anything at that point, but it would have been nice if they had even looked interested and looked like they were listening to me

Great and cheap place to stay. Wished the breakfast was a bit better. Options were very limited.

Very basic facility, good staff, check in was ok. Room was ok. Though the floor was a bit dirty. Good bathroom, fridge, coffee maker with good selection. Comfortable bed. Good tv etc. Suitable room for the budget. Did not use the pool or hot tub but they looked pretty good. The included continental breakfast was nice, good food, good coffee. Secure facility, close to shopping and dining etc. I would stay again.

I can’t believe that people have to have a danm credit card for a one night stay at a hotel when you book for a family member so inconsiderate and unbelievable not everybody should have to have a credit card should not matter who books a room. Especially when some people are hours away and have young children

Convenient location for my weekend trip to beautiful Kelowna. We booked it because it has an indoor pool and hot tub but we were too busy to make use of it. Breakfast was average with high protein options of cheese and sliced meat, boiled eggs, toast and cereal.
Room was clean with some reno, comfortable bed.

We had a room with door to the street and it was really noisy, we could not sleep well because there were people talking. The breakfast was not impressive.

I believe the floors could use a good cleaning. My husband spilled some water on the floor so I wiped it up with toilet tissue and the tissue was very dirty and my slippers stuck to the floor.
Stayed 2 nights, no room service eg, toilet tissue, clean towels, or coffee refills.
Continental breakfast was complete, clean and exceptional!!
