This review is written to record our dissatisfaction with the whole experience. Finding it difficult to complain to Booking.com - procedure not clear to us
We arrived at 5 pm on 23 Nov. The people managing the farm had no idea we were due to stay. Our bank account had been deducted ZAR 6600 on 6 Nov so no idea why they wouldn't know
They quickly made Honey Cottage available This is an old cottage, nothing like the one we had booked, Weavers Nest (at least in the photos and write up)
We had no option but to stay the night but left 1st thing in the morning and had to book 2 nights in Cape Town obviously incurring further cost
Please let us know how to proceed (Booking.com). We wish to obtain a full refund and as a long and frequent customer of yours we should have credibility
The whole experience was distressing although we got on with it as we had little option

Everything!, about our stay was absolutely amazing, upon arrival we had a heartfelt welcome, this place absorbed every bit of us, the experience was really lovely, from the waterfall to all the other sections of streams was truly a great experience, there were moments we felt like we were connected with our higher selfs, Will definitely return soon, Very Pleased!!! Great quiet location near a superb waterfall, in the middle of a citrus orchard.
Beautiful sky to watch at night.
a little jungle gym for the kids to play, along with a swimming pool
Lots of little animals around the cottage (turtle, cats, dogs, birds)
No WIFI - swimming pool quite cold
biting ants on the walk from the cottage to the waterfall

Location was great. Very clean house that could do with a few more modern upgrades. Carpets are a bit tatty but overall a comfortable stay.
Electricity issues meant bedside lamps and dishwasher didn't work.

The cottage we stayed in was situated in what was previously farm workers' accommodation with one bedroom at each end and "everything else" between. The patio ran the full length of the cottage with magnificent views over the citrus orchards and the mountains beyond. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. The best was the walk to the waterfall, about 15 minutes away. It is a supurb sight. Interseting pothole structures in the rock caused by swirling water. Very friendly and kind hosts.
The bathroom has a bath only. There is an outside shower but it is rather exposed, particularly whan the wind is blowing.

The location is an absolute dream. The cottages are situated very closely to the waterfall, only a 10 min walk. The waterfall is absolutely incredible, a must see for any nature lover. The hostess of the farm is very helpful and friendly, as are the staff. We even befriended their local puppy, Lucy. We will definitely be back in Summer when we can swim in the waterfall.
My only criticism would be the Farm house floors. We found this to be a little grubby. It's a typical farm house set up, which is lovely. However it needs a lick of paint and new floors laid throughout. This will improve the house dramatically. The table tennis table was a hit for out teenagers. The garden and outdoor set up is fantastic.

Absolutely 💯 relaxing and best outdoor activities.
Wished we had a full shower but managed to get by with a bath and hand shower.

The abundance of nature has given us the breath taking sunset from cottage into the entire kitchen and dining area. The waterfall was gushing like a bath running with its tap wide open, especially as it was winter time. The host are most loving and you feel at home 100%. Cosy fireplace. Well equipped kitchen.

The farm has the most beautiful river and sunset views - gorgeous location! And it's easily accessible from Cape Town. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable.
No sense of arrival - no reception, no signage to indicate where to go. A bit of tea and coffee as a minimum would've been nice, and 1-ply toilet paper is a no-go for the price being charged. If visitors are really made to feel welcome and looked after, the farm could become a wonderful destination.

Loves the isolation and serene surroundings. Perfect place for a getaway from the city with a few friends!
Far from tourist attractions. Best if you want to stay in for the weekend.

Location. The stars. Saw two shooting stars. And of course the waterfall. The option to use the outside shower was wonderful
Such a stunning location. May is such a lovely time to visit. Worth remembering this is a working farm. Which we found a plus. Henry was a perfect host. There when you needed him.

Bedding was old. Would have liked a sheet in addition to the duvet.

Beauty and tranquility of surroundings with beautiful views from the house. Magnificent mountain pools. Gorgeous decor and very comfortable beds. Helpfulness and friendliness of the staff -Henry and Marianne.
Kitchen was clean and had a dishwasher so no washing of dishes by hand.
Kitchen needs to have sharper knives and dishcloths and tea towels - need a few more.
