It was our first year anniversary. Just a little get away. It was very nice.

Is ok, but the bathroom very noisy, some fly's entering the room (no mesquite screen)
Swimming pool smile chlorine. Very confusing guidance to and from the room .

We go once or twice a year and enjoy the pool and scenery. The restaurant is good and the accommodations are nice. The furnishings seemed newer and everything worked in the room. I recommend the second floor (the first floor is more of a basement and has noise problems). This hotel always seems under-staffed. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing. Just surprised at how great it was. We will be back.

Very nice resort, however I've don't ever recall staying at a hotel regardless of the price that didn't have a microwave.

Staff was amazing especially the supervisor.

It was good! Dinner at restaurant was unfortunately not very good. Surf and turf Friday $50 special, Filet was very disappointing and meal was not hot and very spicy.

Overall it was a nice stay. However we were really disappointed that the spa is not included in the resort stay. I understand that the services wouldn’t be included but to charge $30-$40 per person per day even if they are a guest at the resort I would have thought they would include it. The room itself was very nice, resort reminded us of Dirty Dancing as the resort in the movie lol

We always enjoy our stay at the Abbey Resort. We decided to use the special rate that was offered. Unfortunately, it must have been spring break week and it was really crowded. We always purchase the Avani Spa pass but couldn't even get into the jacuzzi because it was always full of people and even the pool area was loud/busy. We will definitely return as it is one of our favorite places, however, not during spring break.

Had a nice time. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Enjoyed the live music at the bar on site. We walked to get coffee in our socks and water from a clogged gutter had come in and soaked the hall carpet. This morning it was the same way. I assume staff didn’t notice because they wear shoes. Still, nice comfortable place, plenty to do. You could have a great time and not ever have to leave the resort.

Room renovations are nice. Easy check in and out. Parking was great!

Stayed here in hopes of having quiet, and relaxing bday weekend. Was greeted with a long , slow moving check in line when we arrived, but nice staff. Navigating the building was like being in a maze, we got turned around a few times …I would recommend adding a few more signs around the building to help improve this. Once we arrived to our room, we noticed the bathroom door wouldn’t close due to a misaligned strike plate. We were moved to 2nd room that had the same issue. 3rd room had some kind of dye stain on the headboard, but we were tired of being moved around & opted to stay in that room for the rest of our trip. No type compensation offered for the inconveniences. Rooms were comfortable & clean otherwise. Thin walls, could hear neighbor snoring in the next room. Enjoyed the onsite restaurants. Paid $40 per person for the Day Spa experience, pool was nice, but a little chilly . Jacuzzi was nice. Himalayan salt room wasn’t working. Beautiful scenery. Im sure it’s even more beautiful during spring/summer. Despite the inconveniences, we were able to slow down, relax & make the most out of our weekend trip. I’d rate it a 7/10. Thank you.

The trip started out great and the hotel was nice and beautiful location. We were really excited to ise the amenities that at the hotel during out stay unfortunately we couldn't. We were told that the hot water was not working in our room and it would be fixed shortly, which at the time wasn't a big deal.

Been getting blown off since we checked in. Our room did not have a hairdryer, and there are cobwebs above the doorway to our room.

The indoor pool was really big, so you can still enjoy it even when there are a few people in it.

This is a lovely property. They have a beautiful lobby with lots of casual seating to relax with a book, computer or glass of wine. They have a nice indoor pool with whirlpool. Food at the higher-end restaurant was excellent. I would have given a five-star review except for the fact that many maintenance issues on the property are seemingly neglected. This is not meant to discourage anyone from staying at this property as it really is a lovely property. I am hoping maybe someone from the hotel will read this though. Our room had no Do Not Disturb sign so on our departure day, housekeeping came back several times, the first tie waking us up, to see if we had left so they could make up our room. After several interruptions by housekeeping, we finally asked them for a Do Not Disturb sign, which they gave to us, and then everything was fine. So, if you do not have a Do Not Disturb sign in your room, just ask for one and this problem will be avoided. Would also be nice if the housekeeping staff checked for the presence of the Do Not Disturb signs regularly. Our back door lock was broken, and our front door had a hole left in it from what looked to be the removal of a security chain perhaps. The hotel removed something from the front door but then just left a good-sized hole in the door instead of covering it with a plate, etc. It was just an eye sore. Something the hotel needs to address, as well as our other broken lock. We also noticed a lot of burned-out lights in the pool.

This is a wonderful place to get away for a couples weekend. We used the spa, pool and restaurants all a top tier experience. They also have a piano lounge in the later evening that had a great selection of music. What a great weekend!

It was perfect for our visit to the Winterfest.

We stay here for our annual winter trip for lake Geneva winterfest but also experiencing all the winter activities at Abbey resort. We've been doing this for 6 years now. We are never disappointed in the Abbey resort. Just disappointed by no snow this year.

This was our 3rd year doing our college girls weekend away. The spa is fantastic and able to lounge around there with no kids running around is amazing. Then we usually head over to Chucks for some food and drinks. Head back to the hotel and we’ve luckily had the band D’lite Duo to dance to. Always a fun weekend!

Rooms were nice. Our bathroom door wouldn’t close which once we notified they fix immediately. No vents in the bathroom. Restaurant for dinner was horrible. Food did not taste fresh at all. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The resort is beautiful and the winter rates are so affordable! The reason k didn’t give 5 stars across the board is because it was freezing in the hotel the entire 24 hours we were there. The actual room was warm but the rest of the hotel corridors! Halls, locations, restaurants were freezing as if they didn’t want to turn the heat up! Are things a little uncomfortable!

I’ve been going to this hotel annually for 12 years and since the remodel it’s gone downhill. The beds and pillows are no
long plush and comfy, especially the pillow - they are cheap foam and extremely uncomfortable. The bar of soap in the bathroom is no bigger than a half dollar coin - not sure what we’re supposed to wash with that. Food at the casual Waterfront restaurant is inedible-they couldn’t even get a grilled cheese right. The upscale restaurant called 240 West now has a very limited menu and the food is mediocre at best and very pricey. It also didn’t escape us that the martini glass is also smaller with the price having gone up. TV wasn’t working properly the entire weekend. The indoor adult pool and spa are still great. Lastly, the Queen beds are actually doubles, referred to as “hotel queen”. Likely switching this annual girls trip to another location.

As always Wisconsin didn't disappoint, the Abbey was great the downstairs' bar was great, a big shout out to Carlos who did a fine job.

This resort is nice but the indoor pool is freezing. Thats one of the main reasons we went so the kids could swim and we left a day early because the pool was so cold.
