The home is well updated with fresh paint, appliances, comfortable beds and other furniture.There still is that vase with covered dried flowers in the dining area, which felt a bit creepy. Also, a repair person was scheduled while I was there. He used the code to enter without knocking. He did not know where the hole in the wall was, and I was a bit inconveneienced as I tried to contact the host with this problem. The worker roamed around until he found it. In the meanwhile he tried to engage in conversation about what I did etc. I did not feel safe and texted the host to ask for a new code, in vain. Also, the smoke detector in the master bedroom kept going off at night. The A/C kept changing and was down to the 50s at nights. Needless to say, I was sleep deprived as I checked out. Check out is at 10 AM, which does not give enough time to comply with checking out. It would be nice to have outdoor furniture, after all it is Texas. Lastly, there were not enough bathroom towels. A lot of other nagging things, but overall an okay place.

Tried to make reservation date changes but got the runaround. Finally had to handhold them through the process by offering to cancel and reschedule myself if they send a refund. To their credit, they did refund the cancelled dates, but this process should have been much easier and not taken 2+ weeks to resolve. Our stay wasn't any better. Access code didn't work, so I had to contact them to get a working code, which took a while. Inside was a vase of rotten and molding flowers. We had flying bugs inside throughout our stay, which at first we thought we had brought in when coming in the front door, but then we found the trash bags with maggots in them on the back porch, and the back door isn't flush with the door frame, which seemed to be how flies were getting in. I told the property manager, who then asked me to throw bags in outdoor trash cans, which I did. Wasn't offered any kind of compensation for this. There were also weird choices with the interior. The pool table was in a space that's too small to actually play. Master bathroom has no towel racks. No dish towels in the kitchen. Kitchen trash can goes in a drawer, but it's a foot-pedal-activated lid, and you can't get to the pedal unless you take the trash can out of the drawer. The small red microwave that a previous renter bought and left there is still there--would have expected the property manager to replace it with a bigger one by now. House is nicely decorated but yard was unkempt. Needs lots of improvement.

I booked a 5 day stay here with family. We have toddlers who are very energetic. We wanted to barbecue and enjoy the backyard with the kids and family. When we arrived- the code given to check- in did not work. We waited outside with support until they could figure out why it wasn’t working. After 25 minutes they rebooted the system and provided us a new code. When we entered it smelled a little off in the house. As we walked around we found garbage around the house, dead flowers in a vase filled with mold, balloons in the ceiling and some deflated on the floors. Towels were wet, grass in the backyard was not cut, it was as tall as your knees. We arrived on Friday. Someone didn’t come out to cut the grass until Sunday and we could not use the grill as it was disgusting. We had to re wash all the towels and do a quick clean up of the house. I was very unhappy for what did cost us close to $1000.

The house showed as it advertised. It has an open layout & is in a nice neighborhood. We were very close to stores for supplied. We were very sad when we had to clean the bathroom before we could it. The previous guests shampoos & soaps were still in the shower. The shower hadn't been cleaned either. The beds appeared clean and in good order. The are firm. There were however sheets in the dryer that weren't folded. The Keurig coffee reservoir was not emptied nor was the drip tray cleaned. The refrigerator water filter was chiming that it needed to be changed. There were crumbs on the floor and trash that had missed the can in the garbage can. There was a coat of dust on the chandelier of lightbulbs. It almost appeared that the cleaning person was called away and never returned as the door to the supply closet was left ajar. The house did not have a microwave nor was it listed on amenity list. We purchased a small red microwave from Walmart and left it there for the next guests. Cynthia at the rental property site listened to my concerns and even gave me an email address to forward the pics of the condition of the unit to. Nothing ever came of the reporting of the condition of the house. We just expected more.

I really liked the way it smelled and how clean it was. Additionally, I like that everything you need is available there. We were able to check-in easily, and the property manager let us leave our stuff at the house before the scheduled check-in time. Besides the nice, clean bedrooms and a really relaxing living room, they have a really nice dining area as well.
