Beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and wagon are available in the garage for you. 2 car garage. Large driveway for parking or outdoor games. This is the perfect location for walking, running, or biking! Low traffic area and safe for children. Nice park for children 5 blocks away. Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic, excellent spot for riding bikes, walking, running, and allowing kids to play safely. Second row, half a block from beach access point with an easy walk for most. A beautiful new kids playground is 5 blocks away, excellent for toddlers and young kids. Access to restaurants, shops, etc within 5 minutes: drive, bike, or rent a golf cart. In and around the neighborhood you can walk, run, bike, rent a golf cart or drive around and enjoy the area right along the beach.

Overall nice house. 2nd Row from the beach, with a public beach access a little way down from the house. You can still see the beach a little from the front deck and can definitely hear it. We didn't use any of the stuff in the garage because we were in Surf City to visit family without having to stay with them so can't speak to the quality of any of that. The bathroom hand soap containers had the old "extend the life of the soap by adding water until you're basically washing your hands with nothing but water" trick but we bought our own and didn't worry about it.

We loved Poppy's Place! The house was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, but wish we could've stayed longer. Amber was such helpful host and answered our questions quickly. The house had all the things we needed-space to relax and watch some football, plenty of bedrooms with comfy beds and bathrooms to spread out and the kitchen had everything we needed from opening a bottle of wine (which was waiting when we arrived) to a Keurig for morning coffee. Will have to come back for a stay in the summer when we can walk right across the street to the beach!

The property was just as it was listed. Nice neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. The house was stocked with everything that you would need. And believe it or not the beach chairs and umbrella were in good condition! (A nice surprise). And now for the best part. Amber, the Property Manager, was awesome. She promptly communicated with us from start to finish. There was a bottle of wine and a nice welcome letter on the bar when we arrived and she messaged me on day two to ask if everything was okay. No complaints here.

Great location. Perfect size for our group. Had everything we wanted and more! Nice and clean as well as comfortable beds. The property manager was awesome and super quick to respond. Can’t wait to stay at poppy’s place again

We really enjoyed staying here! It’s quaint but comfortable! Not a bad walk to the beach. A few things to note: the bathroom doors and a few others were extremely loud and hard to use. Not a huge deal but in the middle of the night it was a bit of a pain. The backyard (for those with dogs venturing out) is filled with little mini cactus plants that are painful as all get out! Watch out for those. Other than that, it was a cute quiet street, had all the amenities we needed! Awesome communication!

Poppy’s Place was great! It’s a half block from the public beach access and a short golf cart ride to all the shops in the center of Surf City! It is a quiet street and very pet friendly. Amber was very responsive and helpful. We will be booking this place again for next summer!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Poppy’s Place. It is a cute little pink house yet very spacious. The property is stocked very well and we had everything we needed for our stay. Amber was a wonderful hostess and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely rent from her again!

We had a lovely time. The house was cozy and clean, had everything we needed and was conveniently located right across from two public access points to the beach. The quiet dead end neighborhood also made for wonderful evening walks.

Such an amazing stay at Poppy’s Place, a home away from home. Beach was a short 2 minute walk from the house. Host was brilliant and super responsive, even bought us an electric kettle so we could have our British tea. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

I booked the property and paid and the charge went through on my card and several minutes later I received message from I think the owner that said the property being maintained and that I could not rent it; I then called my cc company to find out the charges went through, the property owner did call to get her charges dropped and helped in getting the VRBO charge credited

Very nice house, so comfortable we felt like we were home...our host is Awesome!!! Our grand-daughter loved all the stuffed animals!! Such a nice location to walk quickly walk to the beach!!

Cottage is very spacious. My only hope is the sliding glass doors are fixed by our next stay. That would be nice. Overall a very nice cottage. That's nicely located. With ease do all your shopping just a few moments away.

We absolutely loved staying at Poppy’s Place. Once you walk in you feel like your beach house vacation has begun. My 3 kids loved being here and we had everything we needed here. Communicating with the owner was easy, quick and pleasant. We would definitely stay at Poppy’s Place again.

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed at Poppy’s Place for a getaway to the beach. The house was very nice, clean, and stocked with everything you need. It’s in a great location and has close and convenient access to the beach. The property manager is also great to work with and is very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back soon! I highly recommend this property.
