Enter through the home’s front, stained glass door into the main level with the living, dining, and kitchen spaces. The kitchen is as colorful as the rest of the home with bright blue walls, a rustic kitchen island, and all the cookware you need for convenient meals at home. Hang out in the vibrant kitchen with a fresh pour over coffee, or take your formal meals into the dining room with a large wooden table for 6 and decorative fireplace. When lounging indoors, enjoy the cozy living area stocked with books, records for the record player, and movies to watch on the large tv. If hanging outdoors is more your style, the front porch has a swing, rocking chairs, and small cafe table all overlooking the neighborhood church. The front and back yards are fenced in with green lawn space for your enjoyment. The backyard additionally has a BBQ pit for your grilling needs. This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 1 private bedroom, sleeping loft, and sleeper sofa in the living area. The private bedroom suite includes a king size bed, ornamental fireplace, and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. The sleeping loft is furnished with 2 queen size beds and has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. THINGS TO NOTE: A queen size sleeper sofa is provided in the living area. Street parking is available. Washer and dryer in unit. - If you are bringing a pet - the pet fee is not included in this total price. An additional pet fee will be applied after booking is complete. A maximum of 2 pets can be brought to the unit. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. The pet fee is $35/day per pet. The Purple House is located in East Nashville, specifically in the East End neighborhood near a number of local bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. You’ll be a quick 10 minutes from Music Row, The Arts District, and all the entertainment of Broadway. There is no shortage of breweries, live music, museums, cafes, and restaurants to explore downtown, and you’re sure to make the most of your Nashville trip with this home’s ideal location.

This was an incredible property. The eclectic design made for fun discoveries at every turn. It's in a great neighborhood within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The fenced front and back yards made it easy to travel with our dog. Excellent host communication made the process convenient and stress-free.

Only problem was neither of the two coffee makers were working, but if they were we might not have discovered the Foaming Monkey

Just a hop, skip, and jump to the city center…but you get to come home to the quaintness of the East End (such a cute neighborhood with lots of restaurants and little local shops!). We had a fabulous time and a great stay at The Purple House! We’d definitely stay again!!

The Purple House is a cool old house in a great location. Easy to Uber/Lyft downtown, and close enough to walk to Nissan Stadium if you’re feeling ambitious. They offer a nice setup of supplies to get you started, and nearby grocery stores make it easy to restock. We had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We loved the old “antique” style furniture and wood furnishings, and the musical decorations and history throughout. It had all the amenities and fenced in backyard and front for dog. Was near shopping areas, restaurants and bars and about 1.5 miles to downtown Nashville. Perfect for us! We had a great time. The only thing was that the code didn’t work. We called and were able to get the backup code. The front door is warped some but shuts and locks. Just some gaps that will need fixed soon. It’s a big old door and is cool though. In any case we loved the house and had a great time!

Wonderful house! Don’t change a thing. Fenced in back and front yards were wonderful for a dog friendly house. Short walk to coffee and several good restaurants. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This house is close to everywhere worth going! Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. All of the neighbors were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Nice sidewalks to take long walks to explore. I will definitely stay at The Purple House again!

Very interesting property. Charming older home with tons of eclectic decor. Seems we were constantly discovering something we hadn’t seen before. Somehow they have managed to provide all the modern amenities without losing the vintage charm. Almost like having a museum in your home. Definitely worth checking out.

The purple house was decorated with a fun eclectic vibe! Perfect location for a quick Uber downtown or walk for a drink on the historic east side. Rooms were spacious and comfortable! Owners were quick to reply/communicate re any questions and concerns!

We had 4 adults and 1 dog and this property was perfect - cool/funky place with a great fenced in yard (very much dog approved) and we were close to restaurants etc and it was super easy to head over the bridge to Broadway/Bridgestone - loved it!

We absolutely loved the uniqueness of this home. It’s colorful, eclectic vibe is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the front porch swing overlooking the fenced in yard with our pup. The home is located within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. We loved looking at all of the historic homes in the neighborhood. We even walked to Nissan Stadium for a concert and never felt unsafe. This home is a gem. I would love to stay here again.

Our kids (age range 6-14) loved it too. The furniture and decor is comfortable and fun. Neighborhood is safe. The house is clean and well stocked. The hosts are very responsive to any concerns that you might have. If we're ever back in Nashville I would stay at the purple house again.

We enjoyed our stay at “The Purple House” very much. We had our two puppy girls with us and it was nice to have the fenced in yard that was nicely mowed. The kitchen was well stocked with a great little coffee station. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and a short drive to the top Nashville attractions. Communication with the owners was very prompt in their responses. Would definitely stay here again!

I chose this property because it looked intriguing--age and decor. It lived up to the pictures. The property was spacious and was a well maintained old house. As per my 35 year experience living in a house of the same vintage, many of the rooms had few electrical outlets. That made using the hair dryer difficult and finding a plug for a CPAP machine was a struggle. Maybe an extension cord or 2 would be added.
We moved the sofa so we could use the futon for sleeping and found a paper straw and other debris under it. Also found a electronic battery charger. It appeared the house cleaners cleaned around but not under furniture.
The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and the beds were comfortable. There were adequate blankets for the beds. The thermostat was very easy to set and use.
Our stay in the Purple House was pleasant. Thank you.

The property owners were great to work with. Very eclectic property. Upon our arrival - we had to do some cleaning - remove cigarette butts from the front porch , clean cob webs from the kitchen, emptied the dish washer and folded towels. For the interior - it would be advisable to replace the curtain hanging from the back door and in the living room. It is not pleasing to the eye to see torn and dry rotted curtains. Would also recommend replacement of the rugs as they are soiled and not pleasing to renters. There is also not one piece of comfortable furniture in the living room. I know this sounds critical, however, these are the types of things folks look at when renting properties. This home is in a great location and with some small updates would be perfect!! Thank you.

We loved the house and had a wonderful stay. My adult son and I were in town for a wedding. It was so nice to have space to relax as opposed to a cramped hotel room. Would definitely book again. We loved the decor!

East Nashville area is awesome, walk to bars/ restaurants Shopping. If it was warmer we could have walked to Downtown. House was unique and interesting, beds very comfortable and clean. Loved all the cool touches. Doggies lived the yard and going for walks at a nearby Park. Would highly recommend.

The purple house was in an excellent location to get to most everything. We walked to Nissan stadium and Broadway. The Gulch, Grand Ole Opry, and Music Row were all easy Uber rides. The house had everything we needed to make meals and relax.
