Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, a walk-in shower, beach towels, complimentary WiFi, and TV. THINGS TO KNOW This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday. This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Aston Islander on the Beach is a well maintained property and walking distance to several restaurants. A great central location if you plan to drive to north and south island destinations. Our room was clean with no significant issues during our stay. Be aware that the indoor space is essentially the size and feel of a hotel room (a studio). You will appreciate the lanai and outdoor space. With ACs unfortunate location, it can drip condensate on the bed/ pillows next to the window - just wipe the vent with a towel if you see water build up. The kitchenette is good to have. The the appliances fill what little counter space there is (it took us a couple days to find the light switch behind the microwave :)). I suggest the owner remove the extra refrigerator and move the appliances to a table/shelf in its place to make the space more usable. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Bathroom smelly. Hairs on everything. Hassan adjoining door so you can hear every word your neighbors are saying!

IOB 157 is showing its age. All the parts are there but needs maintenance! Bathroom fixtures, paint, drapes, cupboards, front door looking pretty shabby and need work! Having the extra large refrigerator was great, and the beds were good.

Amazing spot just steps from the ocean, close to the shops at Coconut Marketplace to grab a bite or pickup some odds and ends, Farmer's Market is adjacent on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Fan in bathroom is extremely noisy, bairings are shot! Sliding door needs work, screen is terrible.

The location is great and the room was clean. Beds were like sleeping on ply wood, pillows were very flat, my neck still hurts 2 sleeps later. I was not excited that there was no snorkel equipment, we had to purchase everything, and the condo didn`t even come with any condiments. I prefer a condo with a kitchen. One boogie board for beach use, no beach towels, 2 beach chairs for a 4 person stay and only enough pool towels. for 2.

This is a perfect location, steps to the beach and with the easiest access to local Coconut Market area. The room offers beach chairs, umbrella and cooler that you can take out onto the sand. Very convenient. The room itself is outdated, the beds are small and proved too small for my husband and two teenagers. More suitable for two people for sure. The bathroom is a handicap accessible one great for those who need it, yet it can get quite messy and wet. The room is not attached to the hotel so there are no towel or clean-up services. I would really reconsider this aspect if I was the owner. If you want fresh towels and cleaning, the guest has to pay for that directly to an outside housekeeping service. You don’t find out any of these details until after booking, so a bit deceiving. When booking it also does not indicate that this is a VRBO booking, that might have given me a clue. All in all, great location because of the beautiful beach and central location to everything.

This was a great value! Accommodations were basic, but the location on the Islander made for a perfect stay. Easy to get to beach, groceries, and restaurants were very helpful. No laundry for condo guests, but there is a laundromat just down the street. Condo had a microwave, coffee maker, strong WiFi and great A/C. There were even some flatware and dishes included. All in all it was a great value!
