We absolutely loved our stay at AlmaLusa. It was our first time in Comporta so the location being right in the centre of the small town was perfect for us. The interior design of the hotel and rooms is fantastic. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom amenities and a small lounge area, as well as an outside area as we were on the ground level. The staff were lovely and very professional. The quality of the breakfast and service was great. I booked a body scrub at the Wellness Clinic and was extremely happy with the quality of the treatment. The roof top bar is a great space for a pre or post dinner drink.

Bar Service by the pool would be fantastic but then again the pool area was extremely peaceful so perhaps it's best not to change this!

The location was great, I liked the town of Comporta, the beach was a short drive away.

The room was dirty. I don't think that the floor was ever swept or washed. There was an old sIipper and lots of dust under the bed. I know this because I dropped my earring and it rolled so I got on my hands and knees to look for it. Ugh not pleasant. Breakfast was basically a disappointment. When we arrived at the designated serving hours. They didn't have a table for us including in the pool area. We were told we could eat outside the dining area. We found a couch to sit on, not very convenient to eat and have cafe. I didn't receive any utensils and finally had to find some myself. Sorry but for the price it should have been clean and with better food and guest services.

The location was perfect, it was easy to walk around the town and to the beach. Straightforward drive from Lisbon airport. The staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless. Finally, we loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it was relaxing and private without being over the top. My wife and I came here to start our honeymoon, and I could not think of a better place to do so!

The suites are spacious and comfortable. All equipments are well thought and convenient. Good cleanliness. Maids are polite and smiling.

The restaurant staff. They do not welcome and are talking among them very loudly all day disturbing pool tranquility. A breakfast male waiter never smiles and is very unpleasant.

Great property with all the essentials you could think off. Immaculate and great location to restaurants. In a quiet area with everything you could possibly want to enjoy your stay. There were bicycles which were very handy for the beach and exploring. Pool was a good size and outdoor area had 6 loungers with plenty of space.

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on our recent stay at the almaLusa hotel in Comporta. In short, the hotel was simply amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful amenities and attention to detail throughout the property. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast - it was simply terrific! The variety of options and quality of the food really added value to our experience. We also enjoyed spending time by the pool, although it was a bit cold for our liking. Initially, we had booked a room on the second floor of the main building, but we ended up upgrading to a larger room on the ground floor due to having a stroller and finding it difficult to navigate the stairs. The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. Additionally, I wanted to mention that the almaLusa hotel has a beautiful lounge area that overlooks the rice fields. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning views. Furthermore, the hotel has a large free parking area that is conveniently attached to the property. This made it easy for us to come and go as we pleased, without worrying about finding a spot on the street. Lastly, I wanted to highlight the cafe in the lobby, which served some great quick bites. It was a wonderful spot to grab a coffee or a light snack before heading out to explore Comporta. Overall, these additional amenities really added to our overall experience at the almaLusa hotel. It's clear that the hotel has put a lot of thought and care into making sure their guests have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only issue we experienced during our stay was a sewage smell in the bathrooms of the two studios we had booked. However, I was pleased to see that the management was quick to address the issue and even waived the upgrade fee from our bill as a gesture of goodwill.

Size of room was good, the reception area was pretty, pool was nice (although construction going on at the time so it was loud and there was sawdust everywhere)

There is free teabags in the room and at breakfast and we tried to swap the flavour with a different flavour (we don't like Earl Grey and prefer peppermint) and they tried to charge us 12 EUROS FOR 4 TEABAGS!! Also it is appalling that the hotel lists a fitness centre as a facility. My partner and I like to workout and we choose our hotels on the basis that there's a gym/fitness centre, and there was just a rooftop with 3 kettle bells, 2 weights, TRX straps and a few dirty yoga mats. ZERO EQUIPMENT. The coffee machine at the cafe was broken and it took 20 minutes to order a coffee. In the main breakfast room where coffee is free they only have regular milk so we couldn't drink it as we need dairy free. One morning at 7:50am we were at the buffet and we asked the staff for a glass of water and he said no because the breakfast buffet wasn't officially open yet it opens at 8am. There is no glass around the shower its just in the middle of the bathroom so the whole bathroom floods every time you shower. No smartTV in the rooms and no Screen share ability so no streaming services to watch anything, only local Portuguese channels. No phones in the room to contact reception. They gave us a smartphone to use that died after the first day with no charger. Such slow service all the time. The taxi service was horrible and charged us double what was originally quoted and was 40 mins late to pick us up from Sublime hotel.

Decent breakfast - not the hugest of variety but decent quality. Comfortable beds Good location - walkable to the beach/comporta centre. Drivable to all the other beaches north and south of it. In the middle of all the places. Staff were all excellent, really lovely, went out their way to help and provide recommendations in both English and Portuguese.

Room size was very small - expected bigger from photos. Lots of noise - rooms were not soundproof, some building work going on but understand it's to improve the hotel. The hotel has a bit of a disjointed design, everything is a little bit away from everything - it made it seem quite small. Overall - for the price, would say it was a little expensive.

location. brand new construction so very clean. suites were a great size so that was comfortable. staff was very helpful.

11am check out time is very inflexible. Not great for the costs of the space. should be moved for greater hospitality experience.
