Welcome to “Snow Much Fun,” a cozy slopeside retreat on Upper Tyro. This well-appointed, family-friendly home is the perfect destination for year-round mountain fun! Park up to 4 cars in the flat, private driveway and walk down a few steps to the front door. Inside, you’ll find a large mudroom with half bath that’s a perfect drop zone for all your seasonal gear. Across the room, a second entrance leads out to an exterior storage closet and then down to the slopes for easy ski-in, ski-out access in winter. The adjacent den is stocked with games and movies that can be enjoyed away from the bustle of the main living area. Next door to the den are a bedroom (queen) and a guest bath with tub/shower combo. Through the entry hall is an open-concept living and dining space with vaulted ceilings and windows overlooking the slopes. Step off the back deck right into your bindings, and you’re ready to go! Or, stay warm by the fireplace and watch the action on the slopes under the daytime sky or nighttime lights. In warmer months, enjoy coffee as the morning sun filters through the trees or cocktails and a cookout (grill with gas line - no propane tank needed) in the evening shade. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to keep your crew fueled and ready for hours of fun, and the dining table seats 8 comfortably. On the second floor, you’ll find a bright and spacious bedroom (king + futon) that overlooks the back deck and Upper Tyro. Next door, the kids will love the bunk room (4 twins) with oversized bean bags and their own TV + Fire Stick (with parental controls). At the end of the hall is a full bath with stall shower and a separate vanity area for added space and convenience. Our home is located within walking distance of The Market, hiking trails, and a scenic overlook and is less than 1 mile from the Mountain Inn, Snowsports School, The Plunge Snow Tubing Park, and Discovery Ridge Adventure Center. Our warm weather guests can enjoy 2 pools - Chestnut Springs on the mountain and Rodes Farm in the valley. Both sites have playgrounds for children. Rodes Farm also has a park with picnic tables, a pond, and a joint pickleball and tennis court. Linens and towels included. Please, no smoking or pets.
